Elise failed to comprehend the Crimson Guards' decision. She thought they had the severity issues mixed up.
After all, hidden weapons were definitely more dangerous than some banned substances.
Not all banned substances were harmful to the body.
Some of them were merely too addictive and required a certified doctor's approval to obtain them for consumption.
Needless to say, only Leonard and Mirelle were knowledgeable as to why the banned substance was more severe than hidden weapons.
When Leonard first arrived in this world, he nearly got killed by a poisonous substance.
The poison incident then kick-started many things, which even resulted in his presence at Velastra.
With such a large commotion caused by the "substances", it was only natural that the Crimson Guards were more sensitive in this aspect.
Sometime later, Leonard removed the magic pouch and handed it over to the Crimson Guards as a temporary keepsake.
The magic pouch would pass through the magic formation first.
"We'll hold on to your magic pouch first." The Crimson Guard recorded the inspection and explained, "You can have it back if you decide to leave the hotel."
Leonard nodded and entered the magic formation. As the formation triggered and activated, he could feel a scanner scanning through his body.
The process lasted approximately 5 seconds.
By the time it was done, a green light was emitted from beneath.
"You are now allowed to enter the main lobby." The guard informed him that his clearance was completed.
Soon, Mirelle also followed suit until a green light emitted.
"Next!" The guard then glanced at Elise and Nadia.
Seeing how their Master and even the bodyguard offered up their belonging, Elise flashed an awkward smile.
She first retrieved her own magic pouch and then proceeded to remove multiple hidden weapons and banned substances that were concealed underneath her clothes, hair, and even her private area.
The Crimson Guard in charge of receiving the items was stunned on the spot.

Just how many hidden weapons and banned substances does she have?
They were flabbergasted by the number of items being offered.
"Truly living up to their name as Death Guard…" Mirelle's mouth twitched uncontrollably. She recognized that some of the banned substances had properties similar to an aphrodisiac.
Leonard remained silent. He knew the two of them must have some trump cards, but he didn't anticipate them to be masters of concealment.
He had been graced by their presence in such close proximity for a while now.
Yet he was utterly clueless about how many hidden weapons Elise was concealing.
'I reckoned Darius would have been the receiving end of such weaponry.' Leonard was positive that Elise held the intention of using them against Darius. Since Darius's arrogance knows no bounds, he wouldn't ever believe Elise would plot against him.
After all, Darius thought he had grasped Elise's weakness thoroughly by using her little sister.
Why should he put up any defenses then?
If Elise truly attempted to harm him, then her little sister would have immediately become a victim of depriving acts.
"Is that everything?" The Crimson Guard glanced at the desk that was filled to the brim and asked.
"This should be it." Elise rubbed her chin and said in an uncertain tone. "I have too many, so I might have missed some. Do pardon me if the magic formation detected something hidden."
If it were someone else who dared to talk about "forgetting" their hidden weapon, then they would have laughed and detained them on the spot.
How could they possibly forget their own hidden weapons?
But given Elise's special circumstances, it wasn't hard for them to believe she might really have forgotten some.
"You can step into the magic formation. If we detect something, then we'll have it removed and let you re-enter." The guard made an exception.
"Thank you," Elise bowed slightly and stepped onto the formation.
Just like before, she felt some scanners scanning every nook and cranny.
But unlike Leonard and Mirelle's smooth inspection, the color turned out to be orange.
'Damn, she really has more??!' The Crimson Guard in charge of retrieving their personal belongings nearly choked on their own saliva.
Elise scratched her head with an awkward expression.
"I forgot about this needle." She lightly chuckled and removed a very thin and long needle from her hair.
She promptly returned to her initial position and placed the needle on the desk.
When the guard attempted to reach their hand over to record this hidden weapon, Elise suddenly warned. "Don't make contact with the needle. It's laced with poison."
"Laced with poison???" Alarmed, the guard hurriedly retracted their hand.
A thin and long needle like this, with no signs of error, was actually laced with poison?
How did she even manage it?
"If she were to use that needle to attack you. Could you have reacted in time and avoided the strike?" Leonard asked Mirelle.
"It's situational," Mirelle commented. She did not dare to boast and claim that such needles were harmless to her.
Nodding in agreement, Leonard watched as Elise finally passed the inspection after 5 minutes.
"Okay, last person. Please hand over all hidden weapons and banned substances."
Nadia then approached the guard and caused another commotion.
The hidden weapons that she retrieved had actually doubled what Elise owned. Moreover, the banned substances held many different properties deemed too serious for an average person to consume.
"Are you an assassin or what?" The Crimson Guard murmured in defeat. They thought it was about to be done, but who knew Nadia would remove her shoe and dump out more banned substances?
As if that wasn't enough, her chest actually concealed two more hidden weapons. One might think retrieving them would cause her chest to turn flat.
Unfortunately, the opposite happened.
Rather than deflating like a balloon, her full bust took the scene by storm as it became enlarged.
Nadia's face flushed red as she tried to cover her chest.
"T-The two hidden weapons here are meant to suppress my size and avoid unnecessary troubles. So, can I please have it back after the inspection?" She said with much difficulty, her eyes subtly gazing at Leonard.
