Chapter 339: Utopia of Mist – Dimension Create
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Inside the alternate dimension, aside from Asia providing support within the barrier and Ophis waiting, Tenraku, Rias, and her group, along with hundreds of Demonic Beasts, were locked in fierce combat with the Reaper army.
Even the lowest-ranked Reapers possessed strength comparable to a Middle-Class Devil. Among them were also those on par with high-class and top-class Devils. Their formidable power, coupled with the Reaper scythes that could harvest life and vitality, made even Rias and her team approach the battle with caution.
“Jeanne, have you truly betrayed Khaos Brigade and sided with Kamiya Tenraku?” On one side of the battlefield, Heracles inquired while observing the uniformed Jeanne and a dozen or so former members of the Hero faction who surrounded her.
“Hmph, who do you think is to blame? It’s because you all didn’t care whether we lived or died, and you never came to rescue us!” Drawing the sacred Demonic Sword bestowed upon her by her master from her waist, Jeanne sneered with a flourish of her blade.
The memory of being toyed with and brought to the brink of death by that wretched master of hers, while these people reveled in their freedom, filled Jeanne with deep-seated resentment.
“Rescuing people from that Kamiya Tenraku is simply not realistic. Besides, we have our own difficulties to contend with. As someone who was once part of our group, you should know that.” Heracles sighed with a somewhat resigned look on his face.
“Enough with the excuses. You simply couldn’t be bothered to save us. You abandoned us!”
‘Are you freaking kidding me right now’, Jeanne thought, Of course, being a former member of your group, I’m intimately familiar with your true nature!
“Sigh… There’s no point in dwelling on what’s already happened. As long as you return now, you’re still our comrade.” Letting out a sigh, Heracles, aware of his own guilt, didn’t want to linger on this issue any further.
“No need for that. We are now tools and slaves of our master, and we can’t do without him. Prepare to meet your end, Heracles!” A cold light flashed through her eyes as Jeanne, along with a dozen of her subordinates wielding sacred Demonic Swords, charged toward Heracles…
…
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Several dark blades shot toward Rias who was clad in her Scarlet battle armor. She evaded them with continuous agile movements.
“Ha!”
With a cry, Rias soared into the air and unleashed two Scarlet Magics from her palms, reducing two Reapers attempting to attack her to ashes.
“Little princess, that Reaper named Pluto is very dangerous. Be sure not to get hit by his scythe.” Ddraig’s voice echoed from the jade jewel. At the beginning of the battle, Tenraku had her transferred to Rias’ side.
“I know.”
Rias spoke with a grave expression on her face, having crossed swords with Pluto several times already, she was well aware of the danger that Reaper represented.
He’s much stronger than Kokabiel was at the beginning!
“Little princess, use the move with your Partner. Let my clone distract him, and we’ll seize the opportunity to attack.”
“Alright.”
Ddraig suggested, and Rias nodded in agreement.
“Boost! Boost!! Boost!!!”
Radiant light flashed, and small flying dragons, each the size of a palm, flew out of the jade jewel on Rias’ armor. They flapped their wings swiftly in the air, simultaneously spewing energy waves to attack the enemies below.
Although this move was initially developed by Tenraku, Rias, being clever, had learned it long ago. While Pluto was occupied dealing with the small flying dragons, Rias gathered a massive Scarlet energy sphere between her palms and then descended, fiercely smashing it toward Pluto.
“Meet your end, you accursed Reaper!”
…
Unable to see the enemy Reapers or Rias’ group, Tenraku found himself in a misty world.
“Red Dragon Emperor, did you deliberately choose me as your opponent? Are you planning to take my Sacred Gear as well?” Georg’s voice echoed in the space, its direction unclear and his figure unseen.
“That’s right. Your ‘Fog of Extinction – Dimension Lost’ is quite the remarkable Sacred Gear. I quite like it.”
“I’ll take your Sacred Gear, just like I took the Sacred Gears of your comrades.”
With a slight smirk, Tenraku surveyed this mist-shrouded world.
“You’re not being modest at all. If you can, come at me!”
“This space is a custom-made barrier created by my Forbidden Move, ‘Utopia of Mist – Dimension Create.’ Either defeat me and take my Sacred Gear, or be forever trapped inside!”
Suddenly, Georg’s figure materialized, and he unleashed multiple blazing fireballs towards Tenraku. With a swift movement, Tenraku evaded the fireball attacks and then struck Georg with a sword.
“It’s useless. Within this space, I am invincible. I can freely launch attacks at you, but your attacks hold no meaning for me.”
Georg, struck by Tenraku, transformed into mist and dispersed. His slightly mocking voice echoed in the air.
“As expected, it’s quite the remarkable Sacred Gear. I’m growing more fond of it!” With a sly smile on his face, Tenraku’s eyes gleamed with increasing greed…

Khaos Brigade Headquarters—
“Ohhh… Cao Cao, you’re quite capable. I’ve received Ophis’s power. Now, what about the other thing I wanted? Did you bring it back for me?”
Watching Cao Cao’s group emerge from the transmission formation, a figure jumped in front of Cao Cao.
With a high-collared cloak and silver hair, this was an uncle who wore a somewhat eccentric grin. He seemed a bit wild and unpredictable.
However, this seemingly eccentric uncle, Rizevim Livan Vali Lucifer, was the legendary son of the original Demon King Vali Lucifer and the Devil Mother Lilith. Despite his carefree appearance, he was exceptionally brutal.
He had joined the Khaos Brigade at an unknown time and only recently started to become active. His strength was so overwhelming that the scene of him laughing maniacally while slaughtering hundreds of his own comrades left many in lingering fear.
He was a true monster!
“It’s him. I brought him back while I was at it.”
Cao Cao replied while tossing an unconscious figure onto the ground.
And that unconscious figure was none other than Hyoudou Issei!
“Oh, oh! Here he is! This one!”
Eyes filled with excitement, Rizevim crouched down and started feeling around Hyoudou Issei’s body. His actions resembled someone caressing an extraordinary treasure.
The scene was simply grotesque, sending shivers down one’s spine.
“Rizevim, what do you want to do with him? Although this young man possesses a special ability, there’s nothing particularly formidable about him.”
“No, no, no, Cao Cao, you’re still too young.”
“The ability this young man uses isn’t just any kind of magic power, devil technique, or god technique. It’s a blessing from an unknown god from a different world.”
“Different world, huh? Do you even know what a different world is? Just by studying this young man’s ability, we might be able to discover the existence of different worlds and open a pathway to travel there. Just thinking about it is so exciting!”
“Isn’t it? Isn’t it?”
Standing up and grabbing Cao Cao’s shoulders, Rizevim had a look of excitement as he sprayed saliva all over Cao Cao.
“I have no interest in different worlds. Do whatever you want with it. Just remember to create a new Ophis. You’re better at that than us.” Pushing Rizevim away, Cao Cao then turned and left.
“Cao Cao, where are you going? Aren’t you staying to help?”
“The operation in the Underworld is about to begin, and I need to go over there.”
“I see. Go on then. This world has been too quiet for too long. It’s time to liven things up.”
“Gā Gā Gā Gā Gā…”
Chuckling incessantly, Rizevim didn’t say anything more. He dragged Hyoudou Issei into his research room.
Poor Hyoudou Issei, currently in a coma, had no idea that he was about to face a fate akin to that of a miserable lab rat…
