Chapter 80: Zyra's Outburst and Arthur's Conclusion.
Arthur knew that to recover his mana, he just waited for it to recover naturally and didn't do anything other than that. Even without learning new insights, he should have thought about this, but it was never too late.
He would stop using his mana around 5-6 points left in his stats, and then it would take about 4 minutes for it to recover fully.
He knew he couldn't control the mana outside in the atmosphere; however, that didn't mean he couldn't guide the mana that was naturally entering his body.
'I can feel the mana entering through the pores of my skin.'
If it had been before, he would have tried to control it to enter his body more quickly and would have likely failed in doing so, but not anymore. He only willed the mana which was already on the path of entering his body to move faster and in a more direct way. He didn't force it and used his will and intention to guide it along.
It didn't work like he had thought, as there was only a little difference in speed, and the path of mana only improved slightly.
A little less than four minutes had passed, and Arthur could feel his mana was full now. He knew it wasn't much but would have only decreased the time by 7-10 seconds, but he felt if he practiced this more, he should be able to recover his mana much faster.
'I know how important mana is, as without it I wouldn't be able to cast any magic, so I should give this some priority and practice this regularly.'
He didn't know if what he had thought was something very good or not, but he did feel great that he had learned something himself, and all this just from the little information he got about mana from that book.
'I didn't know this book would be that good.'
Arthur was about to continue reading to learn more great things; however, suddenly he heard loud knocks on his door.
Knock
Knock
The first thing he did was quickly store the book inside the spatial pouch and hang it around his neck, and from the intensity of the knock, it felt like if he didn't open it, whoever was on the other side would break in.
'Is Ivy back?'
The thought terrified him as he was still not ready to face her, and there was anger bubbling inside him too, as he had forgiven her completely in his heart, and they should go their own ways now.
'I don't know why she didn't kill me, but...'
Arthur had sworn that if she did something like that to him ever again, no matter how long it would take, he would make her regret ever being born.
However, before he could reach the door and open it, he felt the mana sweep around the door to open it from the inside.
"Arthur!!!"
Seeing who it was in front of him, he felt a bit shocked and relieved that it wasn't Ivy, but he hadn't expected such behavior from them. They didn't even wait and opened the door without permission. No matter which world he would be in, this was very rude.
He was about to get answers from them, as he could see Zyra and Liora standing in front of him, but there was definitely something wrong. There was an anxious expression on Liora's face as Zyra was leading the way toward him with her.
Arthur noticed the same darkened eyes of Zyra from before, but they didn't seem that much darker than the last time, and the swirling madness wasn't there either.
He felt a bit relieved by that, but still, she seemed strange. There was definitely some secret he didn't know about her.
'I had stored the hair I had gotten from her the other day in the same box where Fira's hairs are.'
The box was inside his spatial pouch. In 5 days, he believed he would be able to know everything about her.
He was about to ask them what was happening, but suddenly Zyra approached him in a flash. Her body was a blur to him because of how quick she was.
He felt her hands on his body, and he could see the world around him move quickly. He wasn't able to comprehend what was happening due to how fast it was, but he did feel the softness of his bed that he would usually sleep on against his back.
He could feel both his hands pinned down on the bed by hers. His hands weren't hurting, but he couldn't move them because of how strong her grip was.
"Zyra, what are you doing?"
Her face was very close to his.
'Is she sexually frustrated?'
He had been wondering why both of them weren't making any moves on him when he could clearly tell by the signs they showed that they were in love with him. It was a bit frustrating as he wanted to be in a relationship, to lose the damn virginity he had been carrying from another world.
However, he didn't know how to do that. He didn't want to mess it up. He had been delaying it, telling himself that it was only because he didn't know what to do because of the gender role reversal.
But he knew deep down he was scared to take a step further. He was constantly getting better after talking more and more with Fira, but he believed now he couldn't be like that anymore.
'I have to be more forward. I really want to be in a relationship.'
He knew it should be the role of the woman in this world to be more forward, but Arthur didn't care. He had had enough.
'It's now or never.'
'For years I have been living this damn single life. I have to do it now, even if it would be clumsy. I have to move forward.'
And all of these emotions burst out because of Zyra's forwardness now.
Zyra heard his question, and she had a question of her own. If the answer wasn't what she expected, she didn't know what she would do after that.
"Nothing. I just have some questions for you, Arthur. I would like to get answers." Zyra said without any expression on her face.
Now that he looked at her eyes closely, he could see the deep darkness in her eyes was about to unleash fully. She was controlling it.
"Is that so? Ask anything you want. I am all yours," Arthur said with a smile on his face, and not once he tried to get out of her grip.
