Chapter 62: Checking New Talent [Bonus]
After knowing he couldn't have a harem in this world due to social norms and how it would be impossible for the women to accept it if any of them confessed to him, it was bit disappointing to him.
He wouldn't mind getting into a relationship with only one woman as there is no other option.
There were three women he had in mind. Liora, the short and emotional one seemed the most open when showing her emotions, and she had the biggest breasts out of everyone even with her short appearance. She would be around 5 feet 6 inches tall and looked beautiful too.
There was Fira, whom he was not sure if she had feelings for him or not, but she was also an option. She was a sweetheart inside, she had helped him so much too, and her real appearance was gorgeous.
And there was Zyra, who seemed like the type who didn't show much emotion at first, but her behavior did make him think she was also in love with him. She was a beauty too, not as beautiful as Fira and even a little below Liora, but she did look fine.
But she seemed to have some secrets he didn't know of, and she also felt crazy about how she asked him whom to kill when he had made a joke.
She did have an extreme reaction, but knowing she was willing to go so far for him did make his heart warm.
'Hah! If it's up to me, I don't want to give up on any of them.'
But he knew that wasn't possible, considering how proud these women were.
He was hoping they would confess, as he also wanted to be in a relationship, but that didn't seem to happen.
He was not making a move because he didn't know how to go about it, having no experience. He didn't want to mess up such a good relationship which was moving little by little.
He knew there would come a day when either of them would confess to him, and he would have to accept the proposal when it came, and everything would be perfect.
Arthur left the fate of the relationship in the hands of whoever would be first to confess.
Moving toward his location to mine, Arthur had an unusually wide smile on his face, considering the scary experience he had.
'I got it! I was freaking out inside, but it doesn't seem like she found out.'
Arthur was smiling from ear to ear as he took out his clutched hand and opened it, revealing two strands of jet-black hairs.
'It was a good idea I decided to take her hair while I had the chance.'
He still doesn't pull any trick on Ivy or even think of doing so, so either he tries to find someone powerful or goes with either Zyra or Liora. The unusualness in Zyra did scare him, but he knew she meant no harm to him, which gave him a sense of confidence.
He found her mysterious at that moment and decided to take advantage of the opportunity that had presented itself before him.
'She didn't find out.'
It would have been a hassle if it did happen, but he could have dealt with it. However, getting the genes without any hitch made him happy.
Arthur with his equipment reached the site and started mining, and after filling up the first cart, he brought it to the elf in charge. And like she had said yesterday, he was going to take like everyone else. And in this break, he was excited to see the effects of the talent he got from Fira.
He reached the stop back.
'Finally'
He called out the system in his mind with excitement on his face.

Seeing the new talent, Arthur couldn't help but feel enthralled because that single talent Mana Genius(SS) had given him so many things.
'That was a perfect decision I had made.'
He knew some of the credit went to Ivy because if she hadn't told him about the importance of mana resonance, he was not sure if he would have made the same choice or not.
'It is irritating, but from time to time Ivy comes in clutch.'
But his thoughts about her remained the same. He didn't want to associate with her anymore while having no resentment toward her. He had even given up on his revenge against her because of how she helped him.
'That pain she had given me was nothing compared to the time when I felt the hellish pain when creating Fira's clone.'
He had decided to do the making of the clone somewhere safe because he had heard some rumors about the fact that yesterday night, mana became thin for a few minutes. So they assumed it might be the warden who had a breakthrough due to how big the incident was.
He felt lucky he would listen in on the conversations that would be going around in the dining hall.
'The timing felt too coincidental, I think I have caused that incident.'
He was unconscious, so he wasn't able to witness how Ember was created, so he believed it was valid for him to think he was the reason.
'Next, I have to do the process of making a clone somewhere secret.'
He knew about the fact that his voice would be heard in someone else's room due to the incident that happened at first, so the screams didn't cause any problem for him.
'It was luck that nobody was in the hallway at that time; otherwise, everything would have gone wrong.'
Arthur had realized how reckless he had been, but for the next clone—which he would be making after a week because of the cooldown—he would be thorough in his planning.
