Elf Kingdom: Game of the World Tree

Chapter 565: Elemental Elf

Eve thought and acted.

After deciding to create a new race, she decisively submerged herself in her Divine Country, picked up the Life Scepter, and activated her Divine Power, beginning to explore and study...

It wasn't until Eve formally began attempting to create a new race that she discovered how far from simple this task really was.

Unlike the instinctual birth of elves,

To create a new intelligent race, Eve not only needed to construct a new life form from nothing but also ensure its rationality and completeness.

A successful intelligent species should be able to survive and reproduce under certain conditions, possess the ability to self-evolve and learn, and also have considerable potential.

Otherwise, even if a new species were created, it might very well be a low-intelligence or even non-magic being.

In that case, it would lose its significance.

Whether it was forming a rational life form, possessing perfect reproductive abilities, or evolving enough intelligence and growth potential, none of these were easy tasks.

The amount of information to be considered and the rule power that needed to be computed were both extraordinarily deep and profound.

Not to mention, Eve intended to create an extremely rare form of energy life.

Even with the assistance of the Life Scepter, even possessing the divine office of life, even with the incredibly strong Divine Soul Power of a True God, the computational power she could sustain was far beyond what humans in a past life could imagine...

Even Eve felt overwhelmed after attempting to create a new species.

She hadn't even begun the actual creation; just the conceptual design within her Divine Soul involved rule application and Divine Power usage complex enough to drive her crazy.

Natural Laws, Life Laws, Soul Laws...

Each law had to be employed when creating life, and it required true understanding and rational use.

Under the intertwining layers of laws, an unbelievably complex computational network was formed.

That truly wasn't something any ordinary True God could handle.

This was much harder than using the Life Scepter to assist the Elf-Human Hybrids of the Oros Plane and purify the bloodlines of those Dragon Beasts and Dragon Eggs.

*This feeling reminded Eve of the fear instilled in her during university in her past life by advanced mathematics and linear algebra...*

Not only that, there was no one to guide her.

She only had the divine office of life, equivalent to a textbook, and the Life Scepter, akin to supplementary materials.

It was only at this moment that Eve more clearly understood how magnificent the material world that birthed countless species was.

At the same time, she felt even more admiration for her predecessor who could create the Elf Clan.

The sacred, mighty power continuously surged within the Divine Country. Eve, holding the Life Scepter, persistently constructed the life form of the new species according to her ideas.

It was the perfect life she envisioned.

Her dignified and ethereal voice echoed continuously in the supreme temple,

"The new species I create shall have an energy-based form, with elements as its body and Magic Power as its sustenance."

"The species I create shall possess a long lifespan and tenacious vitality, able to survive in various harsh environments."

"The new species I create shall have high intelligence and great growth potential, capable of rapid development."

"The new species I create shall have quick reproductive abilities, enough to form its own community in a short time..."

The colorful lights continuously gathered in the air, seemingly about to coalesce into a new figure.

However, whenever this figure was about to change from fuzzy to clear, it suddenly collapsed.

Time and again.

This caused Eve to furrow her brows slightly.

Each collapse indicated a flaw in her design somewhere.

However, Eve didn't think this was a bad thing.

When problems arose, she just needed to solve them.

As long as she resolved all encountered problems, the goal would eventually be achieved.

Eve herself was the Goddess of Life.

She held the key to unraveling all the mysteries of life.

That was her divine office of life.

This was a power bestowed upon her by the will of the universe.

No matter how complex creating life was, in the end, it fell within her domain.

Perhaps creating life in a single leap was difficult, but even if it required slowly refining over time, in theory, she could gradually perfect the design of the new species.

Ultimately, the creation rules for the new species she wished to construct would come to fruition.

It was just a matter of repeated experimentation and modification.

However, Eve didn't want to use this cumbersome method of piling time to create rules...

Before she knew it, years or even decades might slip away.

But for this, Eve had a solution.

Perhaps designing and creating a race anew from nothing was difficult.

But if she had a reference, she could find some shortcuts.

That reference was the elf.

Having grown to this point, Eve understood that the birth of elves wasn't actually an innate ability of the World Tree.

This power was actually imparted by her predecessor.

Everything had its rules.

And within the essence of her being bound, the rules for birthing elves were already inscribed.

What she needed now was to carve these rules for birthing elves within her essence and then swiftly digest and comprehend them using her mastery of the divine office of life.

In other words, it was akin to doing practice exercises.

Before this, although Eve could also birth elves, that was merely instinct.

Even modifying the bodies of the elves she birthed or crafting the bodies of players fell within this instinct.
