Looking at Qew, who had almost single-handedly figured out the inner workings of a virtual game that could save humanity, Jay couldn't help but admire her silently, even if he didn't show it much on the outside.

Just as he was born with the ability to replicate any physical movement, no matter how complex, Qew was born with a thought processing speed that made her brain work like a supercharged calculator.

She had never lost a chess match, not even against someone as sharp as Kay. If she hadn't chosen to become a critic for movies and novels, she could've easily made a career as a chess grandmaster. Along with her insane brain speed, she had the ability to multitask at a level far beyond what any normal human could do.

Her talent to run different scenarios in her head and predict outcomes had always been her biggest strength. It showed best during critical moments like this.

While Jay knew that MJ could design a virtual game to maximize survivability just as well, if not better, he was still surprised to see Qew accomplish something that only an AI could typically achieve.

Silently, Jay reached out to MJ through their mental link.

'MJ, give me an estimate. How high has Qew's processing speed and time perception climbed?'

MJ scanned her current state and replied quickly.

'Based on what I'm seeing, her brain is running close to 10 to the power of 16 operations per second. That's about 10 petaflops. For comparison, the average human brain runs at around 10 to the power of 13. So she's working at speeds roughly a thousand times faster.'

Jay's thoughts paused for a second. 'So, does this mean that time seems slowed down for Qew beyond the limits of her Spirit attribute?'

'Exactly,' MJ responded. 'At this level of processing power, her perception of time is way beyond what her Spirit attribute gives her. To her, everything would feel like it's moving in slow motion. She can break down events and respond in milliseconds while it takes a normal person seconds just to understand what's happening.'

Jay thought about it for a moment.

Whether it was Kay's perfect memory that let him recall every detail he'd ever seen, or Qew's insane brain processing speed, MJ had once speculated that once they reached a high enough Spirit attribute, their inborn abilities would be overshadowed by the enhancements it provided.

But now, that theory had been completely thrown out.

Instead of diminishing, their natural gifts seemed to stack on top of the enhancements provided by their increased stats, creating a synergy that amplified their capabilities even further.

Jay glanced at Qew again, and thought to himself, 'It's no surprise she outgrew the other bodyguards. Even someone as quick a learner as Kay couldn't keep up with her in close combat.'

Jay had MJ keep track of their progress. With his inborn ability to memorize everything he saw, Kay was the fastest learner. He picked up the fighting techniques Moro taught with ease, often needing no second instruction.

Qew wasn't quite as quick to learn new moves, but her insane processing speed and perfect time perception gave her the upper hand during their spars.

Even though Kay was better than her in raw combat skill, he couldn't win against someone who could read and react to his every move almost instantly. He had no choice but to accept defeat again and again.

But when it came to mastering innate talents, Kay held the advantage. His learning speed in that area was unmatched, and he quickly grew proficient with the training methods transmitted to him with each Rule Mastery level up.

Still, Qew wasn't far behind. Her control over converged elements was nothing to scoff at, and with their overwhelming damage output, she constantly pushed Kay to his limits.

Jay was pulled from his thoughts when Kay called out to him, caught in the middle of yet another argument with Qew.

"Brother, you won't believe what happened in our last spar. I had this weird moment of clarity, and just like that, I broke through to Stage-4 Rule Mastery. Qew didn't stand a chance."

Hearing him gloat made Qew scoff in frustration. "That was just dumb luck. Let elder brother converge more elements. If Penta-Element isn't enough, let's see how you handle Deca-Element."

Kay went quiet for a moment, remembering how dangerous her Thunder Miasma had become. If he hadn't advanced from Minor to Major Mastery just in time, she might've actually beaten him.

Jay gave a small nod, acting surprised, but he didn't say anything about the real reason behind Kay's breakthrough.

It was Dante.

Dante's Innate Talent was the real reason Kay had a moment of enlightenment and reached Stage-4 Mastery. But only Jay and Dante knew the truth, and Jay had no intention of sharing it without Dante's consent.

That ability to change fate itself was a secret too dangerous to be shared lightly.

As his siblings kept arguing, Jay's thoughts drifted again. He recollected the words the System had spoken to him at the end of the Orientation.

"Your Bloodline is the key to completing your ABYSS FRAME, or any FRAME in existence. Awaken it, and you could even create the almighty ORIGIN FRAME, the mark of a PRIMORDIAL."

He remembered how he had asked the System what his bloodline meant. But before he could get an answer, his consciousness had been forcefully pulled back into his body.

The more he thought about the strange abilities he and his siblings were born with, the more sense the System's mention of a Bloodline started to make.

It reminded him of his grandfather, Ojasvi, a man who always appeared ordinary on the outside, but was anything but. Now lying in a coma, Ojasvi had once been the backbone of their family, someone whose presence shaped them in ways Jay was only now beginning to understand.

Jay now began to believe that, just like him and his siblings, his grandfather possessed an inborn ability, one so subtle that he had only now connected the dots.

Aside from his uncanny ability to see through people and discern truth from lies, every move his grandfather made seemed to have an underlying purpose, as if he could foresee events long before they unfolded.

Jay had always admired the way his grandfather handled things. He never spoke more than necessary, yet always managed to guide their family in the right direction.

Under his leadership, their enterprise had grown steadily, thanks to the talented people he chose to bring in. It felt like Ojasvi had a sixth sense for identifying gifted individuals.

With all that in mind, Jay found it hard to believe that a man like him could be caught off guard by the explosion that put him into a coma.

A part of him wondered if maybe his grandfather had seen it comingโ€ฆ and still chose not to avoid it. Jay didn't understand why his grandfather would make that choice.

As he reflected on the past, he couldn't shake the feeling that his grandfather's, and the abilities he and his siblings has, were all linked to the same bloodline the System had talked about.

Although his father and uncle didn't exhibit any extraordinary abilities like Jay and his siblings, they never suffered from illness, not even a common cold. His cousin Lokesh was the same. At the time, it had just seemed like good genetics. But now, it felt like a clue.

With their home not far away, Jay felt an urgency to uncover the truth about his grandfather's past.

He couldn't wait to ask his father about Ojasvi's parents and siblings, eager to trace their family lineage back as far as he could. He needed to know more about this dormant bloodline they all carried.
