Uryuu POV 

"It has been a hectic week.."I murmured recalling everything that has happened over the week.

I felt as the scalding hot water from the shower hit my face, only causing me to feel slight warmth.

I looked at my still trembling hand, a "gift"from this morning's incident.A sight that caused me to feel more uncertain due to my inability.

As i stepped out off the shower, after turning off the shower faucet, I started to recall today morning's event.

Flashback

I watched as a grotesque monster like creature rushed towards only to be thwarted by the barrier, Momo and Reya had erected.

"This is the bishop's capability, increased magical proficiency."Sona explained as she pushed up her glasses, not at all bothered by the stray devils that had rushed towards us.

"And lastly the queen, is has the trait of all l the pieces combined."

Following Sona's words Tsubaki's jumped forward, basically blitzing the stray and scoring a large slash on its chest.

"Gaahhh."

I looked towards the stray Devil, struggling to get up, as uncertainty filled my heart. I knew and Sona had explained what the Stray's were, former humans reincarnated as devils who left their peerages and their king.

I looked towards Saji, who seemed to be in a similar boat, uncertain about the stray.

"Are you two hesitant?"Sona said out loud looking at me and then Saji.

"I..uhh.."Saji tried to hide his hesitation, but sadly couldn't.

"Yes."

"At least you are honest."Sona showed a gentle expression, something unseen till now."And, Saji no need to hide it."

"The fact that you are hesitant is good, it shows that you are human."Sona turned towards the stray that was the surrounded by the whole peerage."And, if you wish to rise higher you will have to get used to it."

Sona lifted her hand, pointing it towards the stray, just then a blue magic circle appeared in front of her hand.Arcs of water was released from the magic circle, ending the stray's misery.

"Rise higher.?.?"Saji didn't understand where she was going with this, whereas I perfectly knew what she was going say.

The other peerage members, decided to leave the three of us to ourselves , exiting the store house we were in.

" Becoming A High-class devil."

"Like you then."Sona nodded, looking towards me.

"Why didn't you say that when you reincarnated us?"I decided to ask what has been on my mind.

"I won't give you false hope, I have seen reincarnated devils who have loved for decades, even century who have yet become High-class devil."Sona said in a firm voice."There is still time, you can leave the peerage if you want."

"And become a stray?"Saji managed to voice out.

"That would be a fair assessment, but no."I raised my brows at that statement, which contradicted my knowledge."While you can't be turned back into a human, I can at least provide you a place to stay with in Sitri Territory in the Underworld."

"But if you want to stay, know this you will have to get used to all this."Sona gestured towards the place where the stray's corpse was, which Tsubaki had disposed of."I have my own ambitions, one that will involve me having to possibly fight for."

"At least you are honest."I imitated Sona, an action that didn't go unnoticed."Besides, you saved my life.The least I can do is help you with your dreams."

"Yeah!!You have helped me and my family a lot, helping you is the least you can ask for."Saji immediately followed up, honesty and reverence clear for any to see.

Flashback end

Third POV

'What to do from here on?' Uryuu mused, lost in his thoughts about his recent reincarnation into Devilhood.' I have already been reincarnated as a Devil and have been working out, both physically and magically, but don't see any progress.'

The thought of possibly encountering another stray Exorcist or a fallen Angel, caused anxiety to bloom in Uryuu mind and heart.

Uryuu had come to terms that this world, he now resided in, wasn't a fictional world anymore.The light blade of that Exorcist being driven into his shoulder before Sona saved him, was enough of a wake up call for him.

'*Sigh* I should just try to stay out of the upcoming events as much as I can.'Uryuu lost in his thought crashed into someone.

"Hawaau!"

Looking at the person who bumped into him, he saw a nun, going by her clothing, with her arms spread wide open and her face on the ground.

The nun wore an attire consisting of a dark teal nun outfit with light blue accents, a white veil over her head with light blue accents, a brown satchel slung on her right hip and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern.

Though the position in which the nun fell in did cause Uryuu to get a clear view of her behind.

"Hey are you okay?" Uryuu said shaking his head, as he approached the sister offering his hand.

"Auu. Why do I keep on tripping over...Oh, I'm sorry. Thank you very much~." The nun turned around and took Uryuu's hand to get up.

As the nun got up her veil managed slipped off her, revealing her face.

Her blonde hair, which was hidden underneath, fell down onto her shoulders. Her straight blonde hair is sparkling with light because of the sunshine and her bright green eyes.

Seeing her face upclose Uryuu immediately recognized her, Asia Argento.

"U-Umm...is something wrong...?" Asia asks seeing Uryuu who seemed to be in a daze.

'Oh no!' Uryuu thought, as he stood there petrified.

Note:In every other Fic I have read, at least involving being reincarnated as devil, a normal guy always seems to be fine with killing even when it's their first time.I don't know I am weird for thinking there should be hesitation, at least for the first time killing, or if those characters of the fic are.
