Uryuu POV

"That's right."Momo murmured guiding us on how to use our Demonic Power."Let it flow through your entire body and then guide it towards a singular point."

I closed my eyes and started focusing on my Demonic Power, feeling it and trying to understand it, before concentrating it on the palm of my hand.

I opened my eyes to see an orb of Demonic Power the size of a baseball floating above my hand.

'So this is my Demonic Power..'I then looked towards Saji, who had already formed the orb about the size of a golf ball, discussing with Momo.

Saji Genshirou, a fellow new recruit of Sona's Peerage, the partial host of One of the Five Great Dragon Kings known as the Prison Dragon and Darkness Dragon King.

' Someone who is not bad once you get to know him.'

"Oh good, you have also done it."Momo happily exclaimed.

She placed a finger on her forehead as she looked at me as if I had done something wrong.

"Is something wrong?"

"Could you summon your sacred gear, Uryuu-Kun?"

'My sacred?? What does it have to do with anything right now?.?'I thought confused about her intention,the sight of the Demonic orb on top of my hand caught my attention.'So that's what see means.'

I swiftly manifested my sacred gear, a pair silver gloves, which interestingly enough caused the Demonic orb to grow to the size slightly larger than that of a soccer.

"Cool…"Saji murmured beside me.

"So it does work with you demonic power as well, not just your physical strength."Momo came near me and started inspecting the Orb and my gear.

I continued to examine my Sacred Gear and the Demonic orb, trying to feel any sort of connection.

I immediately thought if removing my Sacred Gear, which caused it to disappear and a wave of fatigue assaulted my body.

"Now then onto casting spell with Demonic Power."Momo drew our attention.

"Umm.Hanaki-San?"

"You can call me Momo, Saji-kun."

Saji looked towards his hand, more specifically the small demonic orb floating on his hand.

"C-Can I really do magic with this?"

"Of course you can."Momo gave a smile as she said."The amount of demonic power you have is enough to cast basic level spells, that's not even considering your Sacred Gear."

"My Sacred Gear?"Saji tilted his head quizzically.

'So hasn't been properly introduced to his Sacred Gear.'I recalled any and all information about Saji's Sacred Gear.'His Sacred Gear should have the ability to absorb and redistribute power.'

I materialised my Sacred Gear and extended my hands towards him,an action which confused him even further.Momo beside us immediately understood my intention.

"Manifest your Sacred Gear and use it on me."

Though not understanding my intention, he still followed my words.

A small black bracer in the form of a small and black chameleon-like lizard with violet eyes and a deformed face appeared on the Saji's hand.Immediately a glowing pale blue colored line extended from the mouth of the lizard towards my hand, wrapping it.

'This feels so strange and weird..'I mused as I felt tiny portions of my strength be sapped away.

"No one again manifest a Demonic orb, Saji-kun."

Saji nodded at Momo's words and followed the instructions, manifesting a Demonic orb about the same size as before.

About the same size, which seemed to be growing slowly, something Saji didn't fail to notice.

"Wow.."

Having displayed what I intended, I dematerialised my Sacred Gear, as once again a wave of fatigue rushed through my body, this time more than previously.

"I am surprised you knew about his sacred gear."Momo turned towards me, surprised.

"Sona explained it to me."For some reason both Saji and Momo raised their brows at that."I asked her about Sacred Gear when she turned me into a devil, she also briefly told me about the sacred gear of her peerage members whilst explaining about it."

"I see.."

Silence engulfed all three of us for a while, which was broken by Momo who clapped her hands.

"Alright then let's focus on cast-"Before she could finish a magic circle appeared near her ear.

Momo herself seemed surprised by the turn of event, she stepped back and whispering into the Magic circle.

"Sorry.Sasaki-Kun.Saji-Kun. Something important just came up so I will have to leave."She slightly bowed her head, apologising, as she manifested a magic circle beneath her.

'A teleportation circle..'While he wanted to learn about magic today, he couldn't blame the girl for being unable to teach him due to unforeseen circumstances.

"No need to apologise.It's not a big problem."

"Yeah, as Sasaki said.Besides you can always teach us next time, couldn't you?"Saji immediately followed up.

"Yes of course."She said disappearing in a bright blue glow.

'I guess next time it is.'

"Thanks, by the way."Saji's voice brought me out of my musing.

"Hm??"

"Well, for helping me understand my Sacred gear and not laughing at me."Saji explained while saying the latter part in a law voice.

"You would have found out about it either way."I shrugged at his words which weren't false.

'Sona probably hasn't explained him much as to not give him a fat head.' Which a very big possibility.'She had also left out the part we can become High class Devils ourselves.'

"So why did you become a Devil?"

"To survive."I pondered at my own words."I was attacked by a stray exorcist, fortunately for me Sona managed to save me."

"Afterwards she explained to me about the supernatural side of the world and the current situation of the town, so I agreed to become a member of her peerage." I looked towards Saji who looked somewhat shocked."What about you?"

"I just wanted to make sure I gave my younger brother and sister everything I could.I agreed to become her servant in return for her helping me and my siblings"Saji looked down clenching his fist.

"In the end both of us sought shelter."

"I guess."

"You are a good person, Saji."Saji immediately covered his chest, his arms crossed giving me a weird look.An action that caused me to laugh with him soon following.
