[2 Years Later…]

About two years have passed since my first visit to the Human World.

"Two years, forty-seven days, one hour, seven minutes, and twenty-eight seconds and counting to be exact, Boss."

"Geez! There's no need for sarcasm, Aurora." I said with a roll of my eyes.

"That wasn't sarcasm, Boss. Aurora was just reporting the accurate time it has been since your first visit to the Human World."

"Yeah, yeah, I believe you. Now, let me reminisce in peace."

As I was saying, it's been slightly more than two years since my first visit to the Human World.

In these two years, some significant events have happened.

Right after returning to Underworld, I started to brainstorm for a method that didn't require me to rely on my Clones for various tasks.

I came up with numerous ideas that would let me achieve this.

Eventually, I chose the one that appealed to me the most.

The method I chose had quite a few steps to be completed before I could stop relying on my Clones for long-term tasks.

First, I used components from the Demonic Shadow Clone Technique and Universal Shapeshift to create a new spell.

It allows me to create non-sentient, life-like constructs in various shapes and sizes that could follow less complex commands.

The spell worked similarly to how the Sacred Gear, Annihilation Maker worked.

However, I would say that my spell was better than Annihilation Maker for one single reason.

I could use various spells, techniques, abilities, etc. through my constructs as they had a direct connection with my Archmage's internal reactor, it didn't matter where or how they were.

Anyway, I created the spell, Utility Constructs, to replace the Clones because the constructs created by the spells are not capable of acting on their own and cause trouble for me, being non-sentient and all.

But, being non-sentient was also a downside as they couldn't do everything on their own to complete my orders like my Clones could.

The constructs needed me to explain every step required to do the tasks and also cast any 'magic' by myself.

So, while the spell was perfect to replace the Clones, it also had the same problem of requiring me to assign a portion of my mind to monitor and control them 24/7.

Therefore, I took inspiration from one of my favorite LNs, Tensura, from my previous world and decided to create an all-purpose assistant for myself.

For that purpose, I learned almost every information related to Artificial Intelligence that the Humans had.

In addition to that, I also researched quite a bit on souls through Senjutsu.

Using Senjutsu required one to interact with the metaphysical web that ties together all souls in existence. And I used this metaphysical web to collect information on a myriad of souls.

Then, using this information as a base, I came up with a spell matrix that would give birth to a spiritual life form.

The amount of Life Force required to create a single spiritual life form was so outrageous that I had to sit and continuously pump Life Force into the spell matrix for three and a half hours straight.

And this was back when I could release an amount of Life Force equivalent to half of Ajuka's Demonic Power reserve in a single minute about two years ago.

That was how Aurora came to be.

All of these steps, from creating Utility Constructs to researching A.I. and souls and then finishing creating the spell that brought Aurora into existence, took me about a month to accomplish.

In that month, a part of my mind never slept. Those were dark days indeed.

"Aurora didn't know you hated her, Boss. To think that you would call the time spent on creating Aurora a dark period! The time to commit Seppuku has arrived."

Ignoring Aurora's melodramatic spiel, I continued my reminiscing.

Aurora wasn't much stronger than most High-Class beings, however, her mental capabilities were higher than Ajuka's.

Additionally, immediately after her birth, I marked her with Essence of the Binder, granting her access to all of my Essences in the process, with their strength being at the highest possible level.

This exponentially increased her already impressive mental capabilities.

After that, I formed a familiar bond with her, and using the familiar connection between us as a base, I created a Soul Corridor between the two of us.

This allowed her to reside within my body and gain access to my thoughts, memories, energy, spells, etc.

If required, she could even take control over my body, with my permission of course.

After all this was done, Aurora was ready to start her work of replacing my Clones with the constructs created by using Utility Constructs.

This allowed me to finally sleep without having to keep a part of my mind awake 24/7.

On top of that, Aurora filters all the information she gains before sharing it with me. This made things so much easier not having to go through everything and gleam relevant information meticulously.

Although it didn't take much effort on my part to do that, I would rather not do that.

In conclusion, creating Aurora was one of the best decisions of my new life.

"Aurora is also very grateful that Boss appreciates her so much."

"You can show your gratitude by trying to not mess with me at every opportunity."

"Alright! Aurora will stop messing with you if you exclusively state that you don't enjoy bantering with her."

"…"

"See, you can't."

"You have some weird fetishes, Meliodas."

"I don't." I denied Ddraig's statement immediately.

However, the Dragon didn't back down, "Whatever you say won't convince me otherwise after the conversation I just heard."

…

"Meliodas!"

"Mori! you arrived at the right time. Hello, Sai, Rias."

I looked toward the entrance of the living room and saw Morgiana, Sairaorg, and Rias enter.

Sairaorg and Rias returned my greeting before Morgiana said, "Were you getting bullied by Aurora and him again?"

In response to her question, Aurora manifested out of my body in her chibi form, created using Utility Construct, and pouted at Morgiana, "Aurora doesn't bully Boss. Aurora was stating some truths."

"Alright. My bad, Aurora." Morgiana placated Aurora with an amused smile as she hugged the latter.

Ddraig didn't speak up because only Morgiana knew he was with me till now.

Aurora's existence, on the other hand, was known to my friends and family.

Her existence was easy to explain. I just had to say that I came across a bizarre spirit and formed a familiar bond with her.

No one questioned my actions apart from making sure that I wasn't negatively affected by this.

They have so much faith in me.

Anyway, Morgiana released Aurora before walking up to me and giving me a quick peck on the lips. This was another significant event that happened in the last two years.

My relationship with Morgiana progressed a step further than hand-holding and hugging. Kek~.

Initially, even though I came to like Morgiana romantically, I was hesitant to take the next step, at least until both of us were over 18 years old.

However, once I sat down and analyzed the situation a bit, I realized that it would be quite unfair to Morgiana.

I had to keep in mind that Morgiana was a Devil and she was in her teenage years now. It was also quite clear to me that she liked me.

If I didn't return her feelings in any way, she may start to feel like I wasn't interested in having a romantic relationship with her and that would only lead to problems in the future.

Additionally, we Devils grow up faster than Humans.

She had grown to be quite a beautiful young woman in the past few years.

So, I discussed things with her and expressed my desire to take things slow. She was relieved to know that I was interested in her as she was indeed starting to worry if the engagement would go through as things were going between us.

So far, we've only shared some kisses, and on a few occasions when things heated up, there was some tongue action involved too.

"Woah!"

A low exclamation brought me out of my thoughts.

Glancing over, I noticed Rias covering her face in an attempt to shield herself from the view in front of her half-heartedly as she peeked through the gaps between her fingers.

I chuckled slightly, causing Morgiana to back off with a slight dusting of the pink on her cheeks.

This was the first time she kissed me in front of her cousins after all.

Rias hopped over to Morgiana's side and asked with an excited expression, "Mori-Onee-Chan, are you Meliodas-Nii-Sama's girlfriend?" 

Thank the Satans that the Devil has the wonderful ability called 'Language'.

Otherwise, I am sure I would be cringing hard after hearing Rias' Japanglish instead of the fluent Japanese that I was hearing now.

On that note, Rias is already on the path to becoming a Japanophile.

I might be partly to blame for that. Screw that, I am fully responsible for this. On her seventh birthday last year, I gave her a large collection of manga and anime CDs from Japan.

In this world, because Souji was almost always in charge of escorting and taking care of Morgiana, he didn't get to spend much time with Rias.

As a result, Rias didn't know much about Japan until she got my birthday gift. So yeah, I am at fault for Rias addressing Morgiana and me in such a way.

"Yes, I am Meliodas' girlfriend." Morgiana's blush deepened at her cousin's question but she still answered without any hesitation.

Rias pouted after hearing my fiance's answer, "Che~! Shouldn't you be stuttering and trying to deny it instead of accepting it bluntly?"

I laughed as Morgiana frowned before she pinched Rias' cheeks ruthlessly.

Then, I walked over to stand beside Sairaorg. I asked the black-haired pre-teen, "So, how come all three of you arrived together today?"

"Well, Rias wanted to visit the Leviathan City with all of her friends tomorrow. For, you know…" Sairaorg gestured toward me and I understood what he was trying to say.

Tomorrow, the final episode of Season 5 of the magical girl show, Miracle☆Levia-tan, will air in one of the theaters in Leviathan City.

After that, it would be available on the official site of the show on DeviNet.

Tomorrow's release was a special case as another Season of the show was coming to an end.

There will also be a small event afterward where Serafall and I will meet the fans of the show and give autographs.

Sairaorg continued after receiving a nod from me, "Rias is visiting everyone one by one to convince them to come tomorrow.

"She came to my house together with Big Sis Mori and after I agreed to come, she dragged me along to your house. I didn't even get the chance to deny, not that I wanted to."

"That's right. We're going to Leviathan City tomorrow. You have to come with us, Meliodas-Nii-Sama." Rias said as she clung to my arm after successfully escaping from Morgiana's clutches.

"Hmm…"

Just to mess with her, I pretended to think over her proposal for a few moments.

The longer I stayed silent, the more she pestered me, shaking me intensely while repeating the words, "You have to come with us."

"Alright, alright. I will come."

"Yay!" As Rias started cheering, Morgiana interjected, "He would have gone to Leviathan City tomorrow either way, Rias.

"After all, he has to be present for the Fan Meet together with Serafall-Sama after the show."

Realizing that I was just teasing her earlier, Rias pouted angrily.

While she looked quite cute with that pout, I didn't want to upset her more so I asked, "Well, who else are you going to invite for tomorrow's outing?"

As expected, her anger forgotten, she started speaking excitedly, "There's me, Mori-Nee-Sama, Sai, you, Sona-Chan, Seek-Chan, Latia-Chan, Valerie-Chan, and Gaspi-Chan.

"By the way, where are the two of them?"

Aside from Morgiana, Valerie Tepes, my Bishop, and Gasper Vladi, my Rook, are the only other members I've added to my Peerage in the last two years.

While I was creating Aurora, my nine Clones in the Tepes Castle laid the groundwork for inciting a Civil War within the Tepes Faction.

After that, Aurora took over the task, and then, four months later, I 'stumbled' across two 'runaway' Dhampirs by luck before reincarnating them into Devils.

"Their lessons for the day haven't ended yet. They will be busy for thirty minutes more."

Rias nodded and asked, "They don't have any lessons tomorrow, right?"

When I answered negatively, she continued where she left off earlier, "Alright then. After their lessons are done for the day, we are going to Sona-Chan's home next."

"Alright. However, before that, I have some business with Mori. You two stay here until we come back, alright?"

Sairaorg agreed easily while Rias looked like she wanted to join Morgiana and me as well.

As she opened her mouth to say something, I gave her a stern look causing her to stop. "Hmph!" With a mighty pout, she turned her head away.

I patted her head before walking out of the living room with Morgiana following behind me.

The construct Aurora was using to interact with others has long since been dispersed by her.

On the way to the training rooms, I telepathically called Fluer and requested her to send some refreshments and snacks for Rias and Sairaorg.

In response, she stated that she was already doing it, so I cut the link after thanking her.

A few moments later, I was setting up barriers around the training room we were in. Morgiana patiently waited for me to finish.

Once the barriers were set, I looked at my fiance and said, "Alright. I think you are now ready to have the Boosted Gear."

Morgiana's face lit up with excitement and she barely held herself from squealing in joy.

She had been waiting for this moment for two years, after all.
