DXD : Shinji kouki

....mood to argue with his friend. In the span of two days he was killed, reincarnated and found out that he's now a devil.

Worst of all last night he couldn't sleep and was now discussing with Momo. Overall he was pissed.

"Because I-" Momo couldn't finish her sentence, loud screams coming from various girls were heard throughout Kuoh Academy, and said group was following a certain brown haired teenager.

Explosions seemed to come from behind the teenager as the girls threw what appeared to be test tubes with substances to him, some of them also had metal bars ready to strike when close to him.

"SHINJI!" Issei shouted, he caught up to the pair and hid behind his friend as if his life was clinging to it.

"The hell happened now, Issei?" The black haired teenager said as he watched behind his back to the trembling individual using him as a shield.

"You have to save me man! They already got Matsuda and Motohama!" Issei pleaded to Shinji, he was shaking as he watched him with sad puppy eyes.

"Move away Kouki, this is none of your business. " A girl's voice was heard as the group chasing the teenager caught up to them, the one that spoke was Hottaro Nanami, she is the president of the Chemistry Club, even though the club itself is not popular, it's often considered by the male students to be full of beautiful girls.

"C'mon Nanami, it can't be that bad. " The teenager tried to negotiate his friend's salvation from his inevitable doom in the hands of the girls in front of him.

"Can't be that bad!? His group creeped us out while we were changing into our lab uniforms!"

"Kill that leech, president!" One girl in the group shouted.

"Yeah! Burn his pants with acid!"

"Enough! All of you!" Momo made her presence known before the situation could escalate to a worse level. "The use of toxic substances as a weapon is not allowed in Kuoh Academy, Nanami.

You already know that. " Her blue eyes met the president of the Chemistry Club, her stance firm, her voice loud enough to speak but at the same time able to carry a tone of authority.

Nanami was taken back by the way the member of the Student Council protected the pervert. "Wh-what? B-but he-"

"-It doesn't concern me what he did or not. " The white haired teenager interrupted her.

"You were threatening the life of a student. As a member of the Student Council what I say goes, and now I'm telling you to stop this act or I'll be needing you to follow me and speak to the chairman.

" Her voice and words not leaving anything to be said. Shinji knew she was no longer the Momo Hanakai he knew, she was now one of the members of the Student Council.

To say Nanami was shocked to see someone of the Student Council protecting the pariah in front of her was nothing, she was furious! She should be on her side and expel the pervert!

" Finally, she gave up, she couldn't argue with Momo. Although she was going to make Issei pay later.

"Let's go girls, those electrolytes won't separate themselves".

The girls groaned but, as told, started to follow their leader and returned to the lab.

"I thought I was a goner there. " Issei sighed, even though being chased by girls was a normal thing for him, being thrown things that would burn him alive wasn't part of his daily routine.

"Thanks Shinji, Hanakai-san! If you weren't here I-"

"-I'm not done with you either, Hyoudou. " The member of the Student Council interrupted him, her eyes now looking at him, "Seeing the events that happened just now I will ask you to follow me and speak to the president of the Student Council.

"What!?" Issei was caught off guard. 'The president of the Student Council!? No! The last time I almost got suspended!'

The black haired teen found his friend looking at him like saying 'save me!', he just smiled a little. "Sorry bud, can't help you on this one.

" He said while raising his hands in defeat.

"Come along now Hyoudou, Sona-kaichou will be mad if she loses her class because of you. " Said Momo as she grabbed the teenager by his arm, making her way to the front door of Kuoh Academy.

"Anyway, I'll see you guys later. " Shinji said while walking away from the group, he listened to the screams of Issei shouting 'traitor!' for a while before they ceased.

As the Bell rang, marking the beginning of classes, he entered the building.

"So…. .

what do you guys do here?" Said Shinji as he sat down in one of the Occult Research Club sofas, after finishing his classes he went to the place as Rias told him to do so.

"We just sit here and wait 'till Rias-buchou comes to give us our contracts. " Said Koneko as she ate one of her sweets, she was sitting on the couch opposite of the black haired teen.

"Right, contracts. So, what are these 'contracts' anyway?"Asked the confused teen.

Ever since Rias basically forced him to be part of her club, she told him she will teach him the basics of the devil society and what he will do from now on, these 'contracts' were one of those topics.

"Ufufufu, quite impatient, aren't we? Don't worry Kouki-kun, Rias said she will explain everything in time. " Said Akeno as she offered the teen a cup of tea, the latter accepting it with a 'thanks'.

"What a day this was. " A voice said as the main door of the room opened, from said door came a red haired girl with a tired face.

"Sorry to keep you waiting Kouki-san, l had a math test today and it killed me. "

"Don't worry Gremory-san, I didn't wait that long. " Said Shinji as he smiled a little to the girl while sipping tea from his cup.
