Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Saving Airi
Big chapter
---------------------
"Blake, huh..."
After Airi and Kouzou Akizuki entered, Blake Silverstone arrived at a nearby house next to the Akizuki family's residence. His eyes traced the inscription on the wall as he murmured to himself.
He hadn't anticipated the alteration would be so effortless—this truly was a divine ability.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Just as Blake was about to enter his new home to inspect it, he suddenly sensed a powerful surge of evil energy, malicious intent, and faint cries emanating from the direction of the Akizuki household. His pupils narrowed, and without hesitation, he abandoned his plan to explore his new place, opting instead to head toward the Akizuki residence.
---
Although Airi had long been aware that Kouzou Akizuki harbored improper intentions toward both her and her sister, she never expected him to stoop so low as to use drugs to manipulate her.
The moment she returned home, Kouzou immediately sprayed the substance on her.
A burning heat spread through her body, her skin flushed, and Airi's face turned crimson. She glared at the man before her, who held the spray bottle with lewd intent, as panic began to overtake her.
Could it be that today she would be violated by this despicable stepfather of hers? Just when she had finally found a man who had caught her eye!
"Airi, you have only yourself to blame for falling for that silver-haired boy. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have had to resort to such measures so quickly."
Kouzou Akizuki's voice was thick with dark, lustful undertones as he stood at the entrance, watching Airi retreat.
Though he wasn't in a hurry to force himself on her, he intended to savor the moment. He relished the idea of watching his "beloved daughter" undress willingly, filled with desire, and come to him of her own accord.
"Someone... help me... Save me..."
With her senses fading and her thoughts becoming hazy, Airi instinctively reached for her clothes, her hands trembling as she thought about removing them. She mumbled helplessly, her body struggling to resist the drug's effects.
Bang—!
"Ah!"
It was as though the heavens had answered Airi's cry. The door was kicked open with a loud crash, slamming into Kouzou Akizuki's body and causing him to let out a painful scream.
"Glad to see you're alright."
After rushing in, Blake Silverstone took in the sight of Airi. Though her face was flushed unnaturally, her clothes remained intact, and nothing had happened. He let out a relieved breath.
"I truly despise people like you."
Kouzou Akizuki, now standing in shock and anger, pushed the door open further, his gaze fixed on Blake. Blake's expression turned icy in an instant.
Bang—!
Without further words, Blake lunged forward, seizing Kouzou by the head and smashing it into the nearby wall.
A sickening thud reverberated as Kouzou Akizuki lost consciousness, blood pouring from his head as he crumpled to the floor.
"Scum."
Blake looked down at the fallen man with disdain, his voice laced with contempt. He then turned to Airi.
"Give... give me..."
Seeing Airi now completely unconscious, her body instinctively groping at herself, Blake's brows furrowed in concern.
"Apologies."
With a quiet sigh, Blake gently lifted Airi and carried her to a nearby room. He wasn't the type to pretend at virtue when action was required, especially when it came to saving someone in danger.
Hmm~ Hmm~ Ah~ Ah~
For the next hour, the room was filled with the scent of Airi's presence, accompanied by sounds that were left to the imagination, causing one's ears to burn with discomfort.
"Sorry, I didn't mean for any of this to happen."
Once it was over, Blake gazed at Airi, who had regained consciousness. He noticed the disheveled bedsheets and a bloodstain in a certain area. He let his gaze settle on Airi, who was curled up in the blanket, her head down, lost in thought. He spoke quietly, genuinely apologetic.
Though saving her was the primary reason for his actions, Blake understood that the intimacy they had shared was undeniable. As a man, he knew what was necessary when it came to such situations.
"Hmph, all you can do is apologize?"
At the sound of his voice, Airi's delicate body trembled slightly. She finally lifted her head, her eyes locking onto Blake with a glare.
In her haze, she vaguely remembered someone breaking down the door. Given the circumstances, it was clear that Blake had saved her… Along with the frantic cries for help before her consciousness had faded, Airi allowed her mind to wander.
Yet, her prideful nature didn't allow her to act too infatuated. She huffed, pushing her thoughts aside.
"I will take responsibility for this."
Blake was momentarily stunned before responding sincerely.
"You're off the hook. You're getting lucky… We've only known each other for less than three hours."
At his words, a subtle joy flickered in Airi's green eyes, though her expression remained indifferent.
Despite the shortness of their time together, Blake had already taken a significant place in Airi's heart. She could admit to herself that she had already begun to develop feelings for him. After all, he had saved her twice in critical moments, much like a knight in shining armor from a fairytale.
"By the way, why did you suddenly appear at my house?"
At that moment, Airi seemed to remember something and turned her gaze toward Blake with curiosity.
If his answer was unsatisfactory, her favor toward him might decrease considerably.
"I just moved into the house next to yours. When I heard your scream, I came over to check on you. I didn't expect this to happen."
Blake Silverstone responded truthfully, his hand grazing his face as he answered Airi Akizuki's question.
"Neighbor?"
Airi froze for a moment as she processed the information. Her mind recalled that her previous neighbors had recently moved out. A sense of relief washed over her.
"So, we meet again by fate, huh? It seems our connection is more than just ordinary."
Satisfied with his answer, Airi's heart warmed, and a soft smile appeared on her lips. She affectionately called out to Blake, her voice tender, as she hugged his right arm. Her soft curves pressed against him as she leaned into him.
"Hmm..."
Blake's mind, which had been calm until that point, was stirred by the sensation of Airi's body against his arm, causing a noticeable reaction.
"Hmph, I knew all men were the same. But if it's you, Blake, I don't mind."
Noticing Blake's reaction, Airi, after a moment of confusion, glanced down at his body, catching sight of his weapon. A mischievous look crossed her face as she playfully climbed onto him.
Blake couldn't suppress a delighted smile at her antics. With a woman like this by his side, what more could he want?
"No more, please stop."
Airi gasped for breath, shooting Blake a playful glare. She couldn't help but tease him, but she was worn out. Being a girl who had just transitioned into womanhood, she couldn't withstand such exhaustion for long.
"Alright."
Reluctantly, Blake ceased, his expression still soft, though amused.
Ding!
Congratulations, Master, for completing the hidden task: Save Airi. Reward: 20 Luck Points. Your current Luck Points are 65.
The familiar system notification chimed in the air, causing Blake to freeze momentarily before breaking into a grin.
It hadn't triggered while he was caught up in his own actions—Sia really understood him well.
"Ah————!"
Suddenly, an exclamation came from outside. The voice was soft and melodious, pleasant to the ear.
"Not good, my sister is back. You need to hide."
Airi's eyes snapped open, panic flooding her senses as she urgently spoke to Blake.
Although they had already established a relationship, she couldn't bear the thought of her sister, Marina Silverstone, walking in and seeing her in such a state. She would be too embarrassed to face anyone afterward.
"Got it."
Blake nodded and quickly got up from the bed. He pulled on his casual clothes and, under Airi's astonished gaze, walked out of the room.
It's over. I should have hidden. Why did he have to leave now? Airi's mind raced, feeling like she might cry at the impending disaster.
---
A young girl with dark brown hair and purple eyes, a beautiful figure, and flawless skin stood at the threshold. She wore the Saint Maple Academy student uniform. This was Airi's older sister, Marina Akizuki.
Blake, having activated his Perceptual Distortion ability to its maximum, glanced appreciatively at Marina before calmly walking past her and exiting through the foyer.
"Ah, I almost forgot to use the luck-stealing ability. The parallel world instance refreshes my luck-stealing power. I can't waste it. And conveniently, Kouzou, that scumbag father of hers, is perfect for me to steal from."
As he stepped onto the street, Blake's crystal-blue eyes flashed with a sudden realization. He then turned his attention toward the Akizuki household.
"Sia, use the luck-stealing ability on Kouzou Akizuki."
"Master, Sia understands."
Sia responded sweetly, immediately beginning the operation.
Ding! Luck stealing successful. 30 luck points stolen from Kouzou Akizuki. Master's current luck points: 85.
"30 points, huh. Looks like my luck's a bit off lately. Kouzou Akizuki still has 70 points of luck left. I'll slowly take them all."
Blake chuckled helplessly. A cold glint flashed in his crystal-blue eyes as he exhaled lightly and returned to his home.
There was no need to worry about Kouzou Akizuki causing any more trouble for Airi and Marina—soon enough, the man would be heading to the hospital.
---
When Blake left the Akizuki household, Marina Akizuki had already dialed the emergency number. She had just heard the door close and was rushing back into the house.
"Airi...?!"
When she opened Airi's bedroom door, she was hit with a strange smell. The bedsheets were disheveled, bloodstains were scattered around, and Airi was lying there—naked.
Marina's eyes widened in shock. Her face drained of color, and she gasped.
Her mind immediately flashed to the disturbing scenes she had once seen on television. Her face turned even paler, and unpleasant thoughts began to swirl in her mind.
