During the Dark Ages

"This is bad, really bad." Lily said, currently, Colin, Lily, Alice, Bartus, Paul and Leia were sitting in one of the buses. Colin had told them all about what he has found in the town, and each of them realized just how dire the situation was.

"Are you sure we can't just fight in the city? I mean, I know you want to preserve human technology and all, but you have to think about the advantages. We can surprise them, which will give us an advantage in battle. The threat is already dire as it is." Bartus said

"No, we can't destroy the town." Colin said

"Is there some way we can lead them out of the city?" Alice said

"Well, I might have some idea of how to draw them out of the city. But we need a batttlefield and somewhere to hide the children." Bartus said

"I can have a few of my soldiers drive the bus a bit farther away from the town and the battlefield. Once it's safe, we can use [Telepathy] to tell them." Paul said and everyone nodded their heads.

"Alright, we'll choose a battlefield where we can lay a trap and hold the field advantage. The werewolves would be the ones best suited for that, and bring a few of the spiderkins as well as the Leprechauns. They should be able to help." Leia said, Colin wasn't the only observing the strengths and weaknesses of each of the demon subclasses. As leading figures in the army, they were perfectly capable of assessing the skills and abilities of their soldiers and put them in strategic roles that their skill set would shine the most. Although demons and such were new to them, they have been able to adapt to the situation quickly.

"We should start as quickly as possible, that female Corpse Lord is pretty intelligent, of she senses something off, there is no telling what she'll do." Colin said and everyone immediately started the operation

"What should we do?" Alice asked

"You and Lily should join the others in laying the ambush. Stay safe." Colin said and Alice smiled before both her and Lily flew away.

2 hours later........

*BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH*

A deep, loud sound resounded for kilometers around with the epicenter being a section of the forest close to M town. The sound was produced by a horn made from the horn of a demonic ram like beast. The sound produced was incredibly loud and is used by certain demons when issuing a challenge, additionally, the horn is engraved with a special rune that serves to taunt those who heard it. The effects weren't very strong, but the user didn't need them to be, not many demons refused such calls. Beasts were more primal, relying on their extincts a lot, which makes them pretty susceptible to the call. Undeads were intelligent, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't be attracted by the call as well, whether out of mere curiosity or bloodlust.

"Told you I sensed something in the halls." Shuma said

"That sound doesn't prove that someone was in the hall. It just proves that there is someone in the forest right now, let's go check it out." The skinny Corpse Lord said

"Either way, this might be the chance we were looking for. I can already sense those crustaceans leaving their holes and heading towards that sound, we can finally kill them all and gain some new subordinates as well. It's a win win situation. Let's go." Shuma said

"Finally, something fresh to eat. I was starting to get tired of the taste of ghouls." The obese undead said

"You can't eat them, we need subordinates to increase our ranks." Shuma said

"Don't worry, I won't eat all of them." The undead said with a smile, showing it's ugly, sharp fangs covered in black blood and bit's of flesh.

"Pig." Shuma snorted before leaving the room

In a section of the forest, Colin stood with a horn in his hand, and behind him were most of his subordinates ready and waiting to intercept the incoming enemy. There were also Bartus and the other tier 4s in guild, which was only three, which brought the number of tier 4s to six.

'Here they come.' Colin thought as he could hear the beasts rushing through the forest and the foul stench of death heading their way.
