Dragon Ball The Next

"It seems like the large yellow alien is going first." 17 said.

As he saw the warrior of universe 10 who belongs to the race of aliens called Babarians teleport onto a giant platform.

"So who goes first?" 17 asked 18.

"I will go. I just want to get this over sooner than later." 18 replied as she started to stretch her body.

"Have you finished preparing, no 18?" Whis asked her while smiling.

"Just sent me there." 18 replied.

As soon as he heard her confirmation Whis tapped the ground with his staff as he teleported her right in front of Babarian.

"Before you start the match I will explain to you the rules that you have to follow." Grand Priest said as he floated above the place where 18 and Barb the babarain were standing.

"A ring out, a concede and a knock out will be the factor that will decide the winner of the fight."

"For each victory, the universe that won will get one point. Two points are needed to declare the universe as the victor in this exhibition."

"And if a universe was able to get three points, a fighter from that universe would be able to challenge any warriors from any universe to fight him if he desired."

"You cannot use ki to fly around. Flying is forbidden unless you have body features that allow you to fly naturally without the use of ki." He stated.

"Killing is also not permitted. If you kill your opponent you will be declared as the loser of the match that you are participating and your universe will automatically lose."

"The use of weapons is permitted but that only applies to weapons that are a part of the user's body. The weapons that the user created in the middle of the fight and is not carried into the fight will also be permitted."

"And lastly remember you are only fighting here to entertain Zeno sama. So if possible try to avoid using tactics that will be considered underhanded to mortals who have higher mortal levels than 5."

"It's not part of the rule but the main goal is to entertain Zeno sama. As long as you can make the fight entertaining you can breach all the established rules as much as you want." He closed his speech.

"We have to get all three points. Then we would be able to fight another powerful opponent." Goku said while smiling.

"Don't even think about it. We are supposed to be gathering intel for the upcoming tournament. Not to give out unnecessary information to other universes." Beerus said to Goku.

"Dad. Why do we have to go first? If I remember right we are supposed to be the seventh universe." Gohan asked his father.

He wondered why they were the first universe that had to fight first despite being seventh in numerical number when it comes to the order of the universe.

"Well because all the universe wanted to see how strong the guy that suggested the tournament is," Beerus replied.

"If Goku is not from our universe we probably won't have to go first," he answered.

"I am sorry. But I have to win this match." Barb said to 18.

He was a big yellow alien that looked like a dinosaur.

He would have been exterminated by Zamasu if he hadn't abandoned his zero mortal plan.

Barb ran towards 18 at a fast speed and punched the place where she was.

But it was too slow as 18 easily jumped backwards causing him to hit the ground.

"Photon Bullet." She said as she launched numerous pink small ki blasts at Barb.

Barb walked out of the attack.

His body has grown slightly bigger with him moving even faster.

"Take this." He said as he swung his fist at 18.

This time it was faster and seemed to pack more power than before but 18 gracefully dodged the attack.

"Photo Blast." She said as she fired a large pink ki blast that pushed Barb away from the platform that he was standing on.

Barb was unable to react to the attack in time as he was pushed out of the ring.

"Ring out. No 18 is the victor of the match." Grand Priest declared as he teleported 18 and Barb back to their respective stands.

"You were amazing 18," Goku said.

"I was lucky that my opponent is a muscle head like you," she replied.

"You said it. If not for that reason you would have lost the fight." 17 said to 18.

"You wish." She replied while smiling.

"If that guy is supposed to be one of the three strongest warriors from their universe we don't have to worry much about the universe 10," Beerus said while smiling.

He was happy because he saw how easily 18 defeated her opponent.

"But there is also a chance that they also didn't send their strongest fighters just like us," Shin said.

"I won't say that. See. Just looked at him. He is already sweating." Beerus said to Gohan as he pointed at the Supreme Kai and the God of destruction of universe 10.

"I am sorry." Barb apologized to Gowasu and Rumsshi.

"Hmm. It seems that our defeat is inevitable." Gowasu said.

"We can't give up this soon," Zamasu replied.

"Didn't you say that the Saiyans are the biggest threat from Universe 7?" Rumsshi asked Gowasu.

"The person that defeated Barb is not even a Saiyan. Meaning that they are still hiding their true power." The god of destruction said to Gowasu.

"What we can only do now is to enjoy our remaining time together because there is no way we could survive the upcoming tournament," Gowasu said.

"Such rubbish. If you keep talking nonsense like that I am going to destroy you." Rumsshi said to Gowasu.

"Strength is the only thing that matters. If we are not strong enough we can just train harder. There is still some time left before the tournament starts." He continued.

"Universe 10. Please send out your warrior. If the warrior is not sent out within the next five minutes you will be disqualified." The grand priest warned them.

"Rylibeu. It's your turn. So go out there." Gowasu said.

"And if you think you are going to get harmed just forfeit. Winning does not matter." Gowasu continued in a depressed tone.

"Don't listen to him. Win. Or otherwise." Rumsshi threatened Rylibeu.
