Dragon Ball The Next

In a space far away from universe 7.

Every single God of destruction, Angels and the warriors that are going to participate in the exhibition arrived on the platform that they are assigned to, one after the other.

Universe 1, 5, 8 and 12 didn't bring any warriors with them because they didn't need to participate in both the tournament and the exhibition. As their universe had a high enough mortal level.

There are a few universes that brought friends and families to watch the exhibition match.

They were placed on an audience stand that the Grand Priest made.

Each universe has its audience stand that was placed near the platform that their warriors were assigned to.

"It seems that we have to go up against Universe 10." Gohan who tagged along said.

"Universe 10. It's them again." Beerus said in an annoyed voice.

"Do you know them?" Goku who was near Beerus asked.

"It's the planet where Zamasu came from." Whis reminded them.

"Black?" Vegeta asked.

Whis nodded.

"I think I heard that name before," Goku said.

"You can't be serious Kakarrot. He is the guy that looked exactly like you." Vegeta said to Goku.

"Oh. Him." Only then did Goku realise who black was.

"This is going to be tricky," Beerus said while sighing.

Then they saw a familiar face standing on the platform that was placed right in front of their own.

A teenage man with short black hair who has a similar appearance to Goku.

No, the appearance is slightly different as the teenage man has softer facial features compared to Goku.

"Goten?" Goku said when he saw the man.

"No. It's not him." Vegeta said.

At that moment both of them realized the true identity of the man who looked like Goten.

"Zamasu," Goku said.

Zamasu seemed to hear Goku say his name and gave a smile to Goku and Vegeta.

"But how? Did he snatch the body of Goten from another timeline?" Vegeta asked.

"It would be unlikely," Whis said.

"Considering that Master Gowasu was given a warning by Lord Beerus not to let the Goku Black situation happen again, it is almost impossible that he would have snatched Goten's body from another timeline," Whis said.

"Then how?" Vegeta asked.

"Maybe they just create it using some type of clay? Or Magic." Goku said as he remembered how Mr Popo created a clone of him while he was young using clay and magic.

"They could also use the Super Dragon balls. After all both Zamasu and Gowasu know about it." Whis also said.

"And I recommend that you also should focus on the other two warriors that are with him," Whis said.

He was right as an alien from the race Barbarian called Barb and a female alien with butterfly wing-like ears called Rylibeu are almost as important as Zamasu as they would also be participating in the exhibition matches.

"They Don't seem to be that tough." 17 said.

"You are fighting that Zamasu guy right?" 18 Asked Goku.

"Of course. I am not going to let this opportunity go away." He replied while smiling.

"Tch." Vegeta seemed to be annoyed by this.

While Goku was permitted to fight he and Gohan were prevented by Beerus from participating.

He is very disappointed to miss out on a fight against someone very similar to the person that defeated him not very long ago.

He believes that with his new Ultra Ego form he would defeat Goku black if they ever have a rematch.

And now he is going to miss the opportunity that was right in front of his eyes.

"Remember. Don't show others that you can use God ki." Beerus whispered to Goku.

"Oh right. I almost forget about that." Goku replied.

"Don't forget about something that serious," Beerus said to Goku.

In Universe 7 audience stands.

"Ah, you scared me," Krillin said as Goten, Trunks, Bra and Marron appeared near him using instant transmission.

"It seems like we made it in time," Marron said.

"Wait. Did you detect our location using my ki signature?" Krillin asked.

He seems to be proud of it.

"No. I used Piccolo's ki instead." Goten replied.

"I see." He seemed disappointed by Goten's answer.

"Ah. Goten. You finally showed up. Where were you these days?" Chichi who was seated two rows behind the place where Krillin was sitting asked him.

"I am fine with you going to a dangerous place. But at least tell me before you go." Chichi scolded Goten.

"Hey. Do you want to have some popcorn?" Yamcha said as he offered his bowl of popcorn to Oolong.

"I will pass," Oolong replied.

"It's been a while since I last saw you. What's wrong? You looked down." The North Supreme Kai asked Trunks as he walked towards him.

Shin was recognised as the official Supremekai of Universe 7 so he was allowed to be on the platform that the warriors were on while the other four Kais had to watch the exhibition from the audience stance.

"No. It's nothing, Master." Trunks replied.

The West Supreme Kai was poking Bra's cheeks with a stick as just like Trunks she was also not talking back.

Bra was not speaking at that time because her head was preoccupied by a Saiyan woman named Caulifla.

How could they become this close while only spending such a short time? She thought in her mind.

"!. Hey. That guy looked weirdly similar to Goten." Krillin said as he saw Zamasu from afar.

"Wait. That Ki. I remembered it." Trunks said as he looked at Zamasu from afar.

He fought this Zamasu before so he remembered his ki signature clearly.

"Mom is also participating too. Is that Uncle 17?" Marron asked.

"Things ended up like that," Krillin said.

"Do you think we would have stood a chance to win if we were on that platform?" Yamcha asked Tien.

"I don't know." Tien who was playing with his kid replied while smiling.
