Dugu Yan was bored out of her mind. She arrived a few days earlier with Dugu Bo at Shrek Academy who was a guest and was being entertained by Flander. She was in a bad mood to start because her grandfather dragged her to this run down academy where she could have just continued on to study at Heaven Dou Academy with Yu Tianheng. Usually she can coax her grandfather into anything she asks for but for some reason he was extremely firm and adamant about her staying away from Yu Tianheng. In fact he doesn't seem to like anyone from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan for some reason. Although she asked him once, he only turned and had a look of regret and sorrow so she decided not to pry further. Her grandfather was a proud person who barely had regrets when it came to outside of his family so she knew it must be something very tough for him.
All Dugu Yan knew was that she was here to meet someone that her grandfather wanted to introduce her to. What intrigued her the most was the fact that he was the same age as her! That alone made her follow her grandfather here.
Right now she should be with the training with the Emperor Team to battle in the Great Spirit Arena in Soutuo City like they were originally planning.
After a while someone came in and informed the Dean Flander that there were 5 new students that just arrived. Taking a look at the names, Flander's eyes lit up thankful that he no longer had to stay in the awkward atmosphere with Dugu Bo. Being in the presence of a Titled Douluo is a nerve wracking thing. He hurriedly had the messenger grab the boy named Tang Zhen.
A few minutes later a tall handsome boy with black hair and blue eyes came in but was accompanied by two beautiful girls.
"Uncle Dugu! It's been so long have you been well?" Tang Zhen bowed to the man showing respect.
"Hahaha little monster enough with the formalities. It seems you brought two others with you, is one of them the person you fought me for the Immortal herb?" Dugu Bo asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, this is Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu. Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, this is my uncle Dugu Bo also known as the Poison Douluo."
Both girls stunned to see the famed Poison Douluo immediately bowed showing respect. "Juniors greet Senior Dugu."
"Good, good." Dugu Bo said standing up and stroking his beard.
Meanwhile the other two people in the room......
Flander.exe has stopped working.
Dugu Yan.exe has stopped working.
Both Flander and Dugu Yan upon hearing this boy fought with Dugu Bo and was still alive even calling him uncle was dumbfounded. This was Dugu Bo the person that did not leave anyone who crossed him live was greeting this young man like family.
Dugu Yan snapped out of her stupor first and took a look at the boy finally curious but when she did, Dugu Yan.exe has stopped working again.
She just looked to see the most handsome boy she had ever seen. He even put Yu Tianheng to shame and he was the most popular boy at Heaven Dou Academy because of his looks and strength.
"Little Monster, this is my granddaughter Dugu Yan. Yan Yan come and introduce yourself."
Tang Zhen turned to see Dugu Yan. She was the same age as him with short purple hair and green eyes. Although exotic, he knew the eyes were a result of her poison. He still introduced himself politely. "Hello my name is Tang Zhen. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Dugu Yan shakily took his hand and with a blush on her face introduced herself, "H-h-hello, my name is Dugu Yan."
Seeing his granddaughters reaction, Dugu Bo was overjoyed. At least she found Tang Zhen attractive which was a good start. He would never allow her to be with that Yu Tianheng. Dugu Bo knew of Tang Zhen's plan for both the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and the Haotian Clan. At first he was worried that the boy might be consumed by a need for revenge and was going to try and slaughter all of them. Luckily Tang Zhen explained that while he wasn't going to kill anyone from the clans outright, if they pushed him he would if necessary which Dugu Bo found reasonable. Tang Zhen's primary concern was to get stronger to protect these two girls it seems. His goals regarding both clans, Tang Zhen kept secret much to Dugu Bo's Chagrin.
All of a sudden the door burst open and three people walked in. Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and Dai Mubai.
Ignoring everyone else, Yu Xiaogang smugly walked up to Tang Zhen and said, "Tang Zhen have you come to this academy to accept me as your master?"
Tang Zhen annoyed with his cue ball head replied curtly, "No. And if you haven't noticed, you are interrupting a private conversation."
Looking around he noticed 2 unfamiliar faces but he noticed Flander who was pale and sweating profusely. "So? Flander is my brother since our days in the Golden Iron Triangle. Who is the old man and young lady?"
Before Flander could save himself or Yu Xiaogang, Dugu Bo intervened, "I didn't realize the so called Grandmaster was not as wise as other claimed him to be." narrowing his eyes.
Angry at basically being called an idiot, Yu Xiaogang snapped back at him, "I am the unparalleled genius who developed the Ten Core Martial Soul Theories that everyone follows to this day! My disciple Tang San is a level 26 Soul Grandmaster with the Blue Silver Grass as his martial soul."
Dai Mubai seeing Zhuqing, tried to impress her again and stepped up saying, "That's right old man Grandmaster's theory is correct, I myself am a level 37 soul elder with the optimal 2 yellow and 1 purple soul rings."
Dugu Bo was nearly about to blow and before he could Tang Zhen spoke out. "Mind your tongues this is Dugu Bo the Poison Douluo. Show your respects!" flaring his soul power at the three, Dugu Bo, Flander, and Dugu Yan were all shocked.
Yu Xiaogang, Tang San, and Dai Mubai all turned pale, they had been insulting a Titled Douluo the entire time? Before they could apologize, Dugu Bo walked up to Tang Zhen and grasped his shoulder.
"Little monster you....you're already level 52?" Dugu Yan's eyes bulged. Level 52?!
"That's right Uncle Dugu."
Dugu Bo was convinced that this boy would change the face of the Douluo continent. He sincerely hoped that Dugu Yan would consider being with him. While Dugu Bo did not like the fact that Tang Zhen already had two women, he understood, on the Douluo continent, the strong almost all have multiple wives or concubines. Although if this brat Tang Zhen dared to treat his Yan Yan like a concubine, he would melt him down to his bones.
Tang Zhen taking the opportunity turned to Flander. "Dean Flander, I think that Shrek Academy is no longer suited for me. Anyone who treats people this rudely, I don't want to associate with. Although I have no complaints against you, I cannot be in the presence of this man. I will take my leave." He said cupping his hands as a sign of respect.
Tang Zhen, Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu, Dugu Bo, and Dugu Yan all walked out and encountered Ning Rongrong outside. After introductions, Dugu Bo was stunned by this collection of talents from all different clans and was intrigued at how they would grow.
Ning Rongrong hearing that everyone was leaving the academy decided to follow them out as well.
Tang Zhen only came to Shrek Academy for Ning Rongrong anyways so everything worked out in the end. As they left Shrek Academy he couldn't help but think. "Well that was fast."
