Douluo Dalu: Blue Lightning Sky Dragon Hammer

A year has passed at Nuoding Academy and a lot has changed.

Tang Zhen took Zhu Zhuqing and Xiao Wu under his wing to train them on using soul power. After explaining the benefits of training soul control and demonstrating the Shunshin, tree climbing, water walking, and the rasengan, both girls trained diligently.

It was a tought couple of days at the beginning. Tang Zhen knowing Tang Hao was nearby if Tang San was here, kept Xiao Wu from using any soul power and keeping her inside away from Tang San until he got his first soul ring with Yu Xiaogang and was confident Tang Hao had left.

However Tang San was trying his best to get close to Xiao Wu. Although Zhu Zhuqing was beautiful in her own right, Tang San was drawn more towards Xiao Wu.

During a night after heavy training, Tang Zhen and Zhu Zhuqing shared their past with Xiao Wu who was left in tears. It was also at this point that Tang Zhen revealed his Sharingan to Xiao Wu and confronted her about her identity as a 100,000 year soul beast.

Xiao Wu terrified about being exposed tried to leave but was held by Tang Zhen. Initially shocked, Zhu Zhuqing accepted the fact that Xiao Wu was a soul beast after a heated exchange with Tang Zhen.

Hearing Tang Zhen defend her from Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu felt warm inside but she still had a lingering doubt about whether Tang Zhen was just trying to get close to her only to kill her for her ring and soul bone after she let her guard down. Therefore she started distancing herself from him and Zhuqing.

Even though they argued a lot, eventually Zhuqing grew fond of Xiao Wu as a friend and was starting to see her as a sister.

Tang Zhen realizing what Xiao Wu was thinking sunk into a depression unsure of what to do.

After much deliberation, he decided that once he hit level 30, he would go and get the one thing that can help Xiao Wu. The Lovesick Heartbreak Red. The King of immortal herbs. That would help her mask her identity as a soul beast from the most powerful soul masters in the land from detecting and hunting her down.

He knew who he had to go up against. Even if he proposed he could help the man and his granddaughter with their ailment, he had no guarentee that Poison Douluo Dugu Bo would listen to a 10 year old kid.

After much preperation, Tang Zhen felt that he was as ready as he would ever be.

He noticed that Zhuqing's mood was down after Xiao Wu started avoiding them. He pulled her aside, gave her a kiss on the cheek and told her that he would be back.

Denying her request to go with him despite her tears, Tang Zhen set off for the Sunset Forest.

After days of travel, he finally arrived. Roaming around he finally found a green mist surrounding the forest. He could not be more thankful that Uchiha Sasuke's physique granted him immunity to poisons due to his exposure to poisons when he was with Orochimaru.

He walked forward and was speechless at the sight of the Ice Fire Ying Yang Well. He was standing in the majestic place that all transmigrators yearn to visit.

Not even a second later, a deep voice echoed in the valley, "Who dares trespass on my territory!" A crushing weight fell upon Tang Zhen but using his willpower, he remained standing.

Dugu Bo saw a young boy, tall for his age. Although Tang Zhen was 10, he stood at an impressive 5' 5". Shocked that a boy could make it past his poison, Dugu Bo narrowed his eyes. "Brat, who are you and how did you get in here?" He demanded.

Tang Zhen respectfully and resolutely cupped his hands and said, "Junior Tang Zhen greets the Senior Dugu. I have come to find a specific herb for someone special to me."

Dugu Bo had seen a lot of arrogant people. And most of then have fallen under his feet. But this boy said it not with arrogance but with conviction. Intrigued he asked, "You think you can come into my home and just take my hard grown herbs? You're asking for death brat."

"I will not die here senior."

"Oh and what makes you think that?" Reading his soul level, inside Dugu Bo was shocked. This boy, a few years younger than his granddaughter Dugu Yan, was at level 31. A genius among geniuses.

Sensing that the boy means no harm, he was eager to test out his strength. "Brat, if you can withstand my attacks for 1 incense sticks worth of time, I will let you leave here alive. But you must tell no one of this place or else I will hunt you down."

"Senior, junior is grateful for the opportunity but junior will not leave here without the herb I am looking for."

Dugu Bo became furious. This brat dared to make demands of him? A Titled Douluo? "Are you seeking death?"

"Senior, I know that you have been afflicted by your own poison and that your granddaughter Ms. Dugu Yan has also been afflicted. I can help you solve your issue." Tang Shen was sweating. The pressure Dugu Bo was applying was suffocating.

Dugu Bo was furious thinking Tang Zhen was toying with him. But because this pertained to his beloved granddaughter Dugu Yan, he was willing to at least listen before killing this pretentious brat.

"Senior Dugu, I know of 3 methods that can help you and your granddaughter."

Hearing this boy had 3 different methods, Dugu Bo released his pressure and allowed him to speak. "Speak now boy and it better be the truth or I will skin you alive and leave your bones for the beasts outside." He said sternly.

Gathering himself, Tang Zhen explained his 3 methods. One would completely detoxify Dugu Bo by consuming both petals of Octoganal Mysterious Ice Grass and the Infernal Delicate Apricot and then tempering his body inside the Ice Fire Ying Yang Well. But that would render Dugu Bo powerless so he pushed that aside. Second was by using 3 types of a unique type of fire called Heavenly Flames and the use of poison type soul beasts over the age of 10,000 years and condense it into a poison pill. But the Heavenly Flames do not exist in the Douluo world so that was not an option. The final option was to inject all of the poison in Dugu Bo's body into a soul bone. Better if its an external soul bone to prevent the risk of damage later.

Dugu Bo was shocked to hear Tang Zhen's methods. Each one sounded extremely credible except the second method. The renowned Poison Douluo started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. A sliver of hope that his beloved granddaughter wouldn't suffer the same fate as his son.

Turning to Tang Zhen, Dugu Bo said that he is willing to try the method himself. But he had a condition. He still wanted to fight this brat to see if he was strong enough to entrust his granddaughter to in the event he dies during the process. Dugu Bo had nothing to lose since he only had a few years left to live anyways.

After a while, Tang Zhen released his Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon. "Tang Zhen, Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon, level 31, Power Attack type Soul Elder. Please."

Slowly three rings of purple, purple, and black descended from above Tang Zhen's head.

Dugu Bo was left speechless. "Brat how old are you?" "10 years old Senior." "10?!"

This brat shattered all pretenses of what people knew of soul masters. Knowing he had to pay closer attention to Tang Zhen Dugu Bo got ready.

Using his first soul skill Three Thousand Thunder Movement, Tang Zhen dodges as Dugu Bo sends a green poisonous snake at him.

"The power of a Titled Douluo is truly frightening. Even with my Sharingan and the Three Thousand Thunder Movement skill I barely dodged that." Tang Zhen was sweating already. The pressure of this fight was immense but he couldn't give up.

Narrowing his eyes, Dugu Bo launched several more snakes at him "Try and dodge all of these brat!"

Unable to dodge all of them, Tang Zhen used his Chidori Nagashi to intercept all of the snakes.

With wide eyes Dugu Bo exclaimed in his mind, "What the hell was that? It wasnt a soul ring skill since one didn't pop up. Could it be a self-created soul skill?! At such a young age?"

Seeing that the incense stick was half gone, he knew he couldn't play with this kid any longer. "Brat be careful, this is my Jade Phosphor Serpant Emperor Medusa's Gaze!"

A white beam came out of the eyes of Dugu Bo's Martial Soul and in a desperate situation, Tang Zhen activated his new third soul skill.

"Third soul skill! Thunder Emperor's Armor!"

Acquired from a 10,000 year Thunder Carapace Dragon, this ability was like the 4th Raikage's Raiton no Yoroi that increased Tang Zhen's defense and explosive power. He decided to focus on utility with his earlier spirit rings and to gain more powerful attack soul skills at later levels. Soul power based ninjutsu gave him enough combat power for the moment.

Pouring all his remaining soul power into the skill to block Dugu Bo's Medusa's Gaze skill.

"You better withstand this brat! Even if I'm holding back on this attack, you'll turn to stone!"

Gritting his teeth he poured the rest of his soul power to maintain his Thunder Emperor's Armor. But he realized it wasnt enough. At the moment, he thought of Zhu Zhuqing, the sweet girl that he promised to come back to. Although cold on the outside to others, she shows her tender and loving side to him. Then he thought of Xiao Wu. The cute little rabbit that wormed her way into his heart as well.

"I CANNOT FAIL HERE! I WILL GO BACK TO THEM!" He called upon his second martial soul the top tool soul on the continent The Haotian Hammer and swung it directly at the Medusa's Gaze shattering the attack.

Dugu Bo nearly had a heart attack. This brat has twin martial souls? Both the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon and the Haotian Hammer? Who is this boy?

Seeing Tang Zhen panting with his right hand holding onto the Haotian Hammer and a small Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon surging around his left arm, Dugu Bo knew that this boy would shake the foundation of the Douluo Continent.

He knew that both the clans were at odds with each other due to pride. Wait…years ago there was a hunt for one person from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and one from the Haotian Clan. Could this boy be?

What no one knew was back when Dugu Bo was a young soul master struggling with his poison, he met a man from the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. The man helped Dugu Bo temper his poison using an incredible display of control of his Thunder Element to neutralize the toxins in his body.

They soon after became sworn brothers until one day he found out that his friend upon reaching level 89 was betrayed by the scumbag Yu Luomian because he was jealous his friend, of common birth within the clan, was about to reach the Titled Douluo level before him.

After his friend's death he vowed to look after his daughter Yu Lanxin. But he could not and heard she died with her husband being chased down by hunters sent by both clans. "Could this boy be?"

Dugu Bo walked over and asked Tang Zhen, "Brat quickly tell me the names of your parents."

"My father was Tang Lei and my mother was Yu Lanxin." Tang Zhen said breathing heavily.

After a long pause and an unreadable expression, Dugu Bo started using the method Tang Zhen suggested to put his poison into his arm bone that he had. After a while, he was overjoyed to see that the method worked. There was a little poison remaining in his body but he could detoxify that slowly without any problems.

He could finally save his granddaughter. Dugu Bo shed a single tear for his deceased son and made a vow looking up at the stars in the sky. "Brother Yu. I found your grandson. Although this worthless brother of yours failed to protect Xin'er, I promise you I will protect this boy."

Tang Zhen finished meditating and recovered most of his spent soul power. He walked over to Dugu Bo and asked, "Senior Dugu, were you successful?"

"No need to call me senior, little monster. Call me Uncle Dugu." He said with a small smile. Tang Zhen noticed his complexion looked better and the green in his hair turned more black and he looked a lot younger.

"Seni-Uncle Dugu, please I humbly request to take one of your immortal herbs." Cupping his hands and bowing again.

"Alright, alright, no need to bow now little monster. You have helped me solve my problem. Also, I owe my life to your family."

Raising an eyebrow "You knew my family?"

"I did not personally know your father but I have heard the man named Tang Lei was a fair and just man. Powerful as well. I knew your mother Yu Lanxin and your grandfather Yu Landong. He was my sworn brother."

Hearing the story of his grandfather, Tang Zhen's fury towards the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan grew. But revenge wasn't the first thing on his list. He wanted to live a happy life with Zhuqing and Xiao Wu.

"Little monster, I don't know much about the immortal herbs here. Take what you want."

Not soon after Dugu Bo regretted his words. His medicinal garden was stripped clean of all but 2 of the herbs. The strange fire and ice herbs closest to the well were the only ones left. His eyebrow twitched uncontrollably as he said in his mind, "Brother Yu your grandson is truly too much."

"Little monster where are you going now?"

"Uncle Dugu I will return to Nuoding Academy and finish the school with my two sisters and then I plan to head to Shrek Academy." Tang Zhen said.

Shrek Academy? What academy was that? Deciding to trust his …great godson? He left to find Dugu Yan a suitable soul bone to aid in her treatment.

"Little monster, I will have my Yan'er join you there. She's your age but is attending studies at Heaven Dou City." Then he left.

Tang Zhen sat there with a blank face. Then errupted with a foreign word that echoed through the forest that Dugu Bo has never heard before. "NAAAANNNIIIII?!?!?!" Must be the young kids new lingo. *sigh* I'm getting too old for this shit.

A few days later a battered Tang Zhen appeared back at Nuoding Academy.

As soon as Zhu Zhuqing saw him she burst forward and lunged at him not caring he was injured, barreled into Tang Zhen like a missle launching both of them to the ground. Shedding tears she kept hitting his chest "Big brother Tang Zhen! I-I thought you abandoned Zhuqing and weren't coming back."

Rubbing the top of her head he said, "Silly girl. How could I leave you behind?"

Feeling the warmth she missed so much and enjoying her head rub, Zhuqing became timid again and just lay in his embrace.

The surrounding students stared off into the sky with the "grandmaster" pose, both hands clasped behind them contemplating their reason in life. The Ice Queen known for being cold to all males was acting like a shy lovesick girl for this boy.

"Let's go find Xiao Wu. I have to give you both something." "Mhm."

Xiao Wu sat on a swing looking dejected. Her heart was hurting. Her mother told her that when she finds someone that makes her heart beat and makes her miss him when he's not around, she should love him and let him be the only man to comb her hair. The only person that she thinks of like that was Tang Zhen. But now she had her doubts about his intentions. It hurt her so bad to be away from him.

That weird boy Tang San kept trying to talk to her but she wasn't in the mood. Xiao Wu longed to hear the voice of that person again.

"XIAO WU!"

She tensed and looked up to see Tang Zhen and Zhu Zhuqing coming to her. But seeing Tang Zhen hurt, she rushed to him fussing over his injuries as if on instinct.

Tang Zhen just smiled and pulled both Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing to a secluded location.

"Xiao Wu, you've been avoiding us lately, is it because you doubt my sincerity about your identity?"

Xiao Wu didnt say anything but her silence said it all.

Tang Zhen understood that to a soul master, the 100,000 year soul ring and soul bone were invaluable but to him, Xiao Wu was more important.

Taking out the Wishful Hundred Treasure Purse he received from Dugu Bo, Tang Zhen took out the Lovesick Heartbreak Red.

Xiao Wu and Zhu Zhuqing could feel an incredible aura coming from the plant.

"Xiao Wu, this is the Lovesick Heartbreak Red. The king of all Immortal Herbs. It will be able to hide your soul beast aura and it will keep you safe." Tang Zhen said with a smile.

Xiao Wu was dumbfounded. She could feel the incredible aura emanating from this flower. With shaky hands she took it but pricked her finger allowing a drop of blood to touch the flower. Recognizing her feelings for Tang Zhen, it accepted her as its master.

With tears streaming down her face, Xiao Wu held on to Tang Zhen and cried until she fell asleep. Happy that the one she loved truly cared about her.
