A pair of eyes fluttered open with the Sun. Having experienced one of those sleeps where you don't know who you are, where you are, when you are, Zhu Zhuqing woke up sluggishly. Cutely rubbing her eyes, she looked down to see a handsome young boy still sleeping.

Mesmerized by his peaceful expression, a blush formed on her beautiful face. "I slept with big brother Tang Zhen."

Zhuqing noticed a small wet spot on Tang Zhen's shirt where she was laying. Horrified, Zhuqing slowly touched the corner of her mouth. After confirming she had just drooled in her sleep, she quickly wiped her mouth to erase all evidence.

Zhu Zhuqing thanked whichever diety was watching over her that Tang Zhen didn't catch her.

She was lost in thought about the events from the previous day. The attack of the soul masters, the betrayal of the woman she thought of as an aunt, finding out her sister wanted her dead, and finally meeting her big brother Tang Zhen.

Thinking about it, maybe she was too hasty to acknowledge him as her big brother. In the Douluo continent, it was generally known that a woman accepting a man as a "big brother" was akin to almost a proposal for a romantic relationship.

But was Zhu Zhuqing regretting it? Not at all. After all who wouldn't want to have an extremely handsome and strong "big brother?"

She suddenly felt movement next to her and she suddenly moved to the edge of the bed looking down at her hands with a blushing face.

Tang Zhen woke up with the Sun blasting his eyes. "I will kill you one day you bastard." He thought annoyed. Somehow even with the curtains drawn closed to prevent it from happening, there seemed to be some unknown magical force that opens it slightly to where the light ONLY landed where his eyes were.

Enjoying a peaceful slumber he regretfully got up. Feeling a wet spot on his shoulder he looked down and saw a wet spot. Then he saw Zhu Zhuqing sitting by the edge of the bed. Shoulders slumped over.

Tang Zhen's eyes widened he started sweating. " OH MY GOD DID I DROOL ON ZHUQING? IS THAT WHY SHE CAN'T LOOK AT ME?" he started to freak out.

Both parties were trying not to die of embarrassment.

After a long awkward silence, Tang Zhen cleared his throat and asked, "Ahem. Zhuqing you're up early. Did you sleep well?"

Zhuqing's shoulders tensed as she turned to slowly look at Tang Zhen and replied timidly, "Mhm…Zhuqing slept well big brother Tang Zhen."

Too cute. Tang Zhen couldn't help but reach out and pat her hair. Zhuqing was shocked at first but then felt oddly satisfied.

After a while they both got washed up an dressed ready to head to Nuoding Academy.

Walking down the road, Zhuqing's eyes lit up at the sight of the busy street with vendors of all kinds. Turning around to look at Tang Zhen, she asked pitifully for some snacks.

Tang Zhen was gobsmacked. "How the hell did she learn that?!?!"

Looking at him was Zhuqing using his own Puppy Dog Jutsu. Although her martial soul was a cat, it somehow worked out. Seeing her adorable state, Tang Zhen's intitial resistance crumbled faster than the speed of light.

At the gate of Nuoding Academy, two guardsmen saw a young boy and a girl walking up to them. The girl was happily munching on a fish shaped snack looking absolutely adorable and a boy, although good looking had a dejected look as he was flipping his wallet upside down hoping for imaginary money to fall out.

"Halt. State your business." The guard said trying to sound authoritative.

Tang Zhen pulled out two forms that he got from the bishop at the spirit hall.

The guard looked at the forms and was shocked.

The guard stood frozen reading the two forms. Zhuqing getting impatient said, "Uncle, can we go in?"

Coming out of his stupor the guard hurried them in.

Zhuqing turned to Tang Zhen when they were alone and out of earshot. "Big brother Tang Zhen, why does your form say your level is only 21 and your innate soul power is 9?"

The previous night, Tang Zhen told Zhuqing everything about him. From his family to the death of his parents, to his twin martial souls, and finally his 2 purple spirit rings which shocked her greatly.

"I want to to keep my real information hidden. Also with a soul power of 10 it draws attention."

Zhuqing nodded as she agreed. Soon after they crossed paths with a man with an egg shaped head dressed in shabby robes but still walking with his head held high.

Tang Zhen immediately froze on the spot as he watched that man walk the other way. He gritted his teeth and he clenched his fists so hard they started cracking. Zhuqing noticing this gently took his hand and he snapped out of his stewing rage. Giving her an appreciative gaze, he turned to look at the back of the man that got his parents killed due his jealousy.

"Big brother Tang Zhen, what's wrong?" Zhuqing asked worriedly

"That man…..is Yu Xiaogang."

Zhuqing narrowed her eyes and glared at the man's back. This is the man that caused her big brother so much pain.

Patting her head to calm her down, Tang Zhen led her to the admissions office. Because they had no family to back them, they were looking to get assigned as working students in dorm 7 and also to be able to meet Xiao Wu.

Tang Zhen noticing Yu Xiaogang walking towards the gate, he wondered, "Are we finally about to meet? Tang San. Let's see who the true child of destiny is."

Shortly after leaving the admissions office, Tang Zhen came out and with some gold coins and a badge indicating that he was an assistant instructor. He made a bet with the principal that if the age of his soul rings surprised him, he would receive a bag of soul coins and receive an assistant instructor position due his cultivation level.

After agreeing to the bet, the principal was so confident he pulled out a bag of 100 soul coins, 5 months of his own allowance from the spirit hall. After seeing 2 purple rings float out, the principal spat out blood and fainted from shock and grief for losing his money.

After steali-*ahem* acquiring fresh bedding from one of the teachers for Zhuqing, he walked with her to dorm 7.

Upon entering, Tang Zhen saw a fist coming at him. Knowing this was Wang Sheng, he blocked the fist and tossed him to the side.

Wang Sheng upon seeing a boy younger than himself but wearing an assistant instructor badge was thoroughly confused.

Tang Zhen introduced himself and Zhuqing. The boys upon seeing Zhuqing's beauty, gathered around her asking questions and trying to impress her. She also swore she heard some monkey noises at one point.

Tang Zhen standing there being ignored had a massive tick on his forehead that was pulsing. Seeing him like that Zhuqing giggled and the dorm went quiet after hearing such melodic sound. She walked over and placed a hand on Tang Zhen's arm and said, "Big brother Tang Zhen, are you staying here with me?"

The boys upon hearing their new goddess calling someone else "big brother" turned to stone and immediately crumbled. Like their hopes and dreams. They cursed the pretty boy with all their heart until they heard another gentle voice speak out, "Is this dorm 7?"

All the boys froze including Tang Zhen. Turning they saw a cute girl with a scorpion braid in a pink outift standing there.

The boys beamed yelling that there was some hope left after all until Tang Zhen punched all of them to the ground due to their idiocy.

Turning to Xiao Wu he was still stunned by how cute this little rabbit was. "Hello my name is Tang Zhen. I am an assistant instructor here." He said with a smile.

Xiao Wu hasn't been in the human world long. But even she new the slightly older boy in front of her was extremely handsome and she blushed heavily upon seeing his smile.

"Hello Tang Zhen! My name is Xiao Wu. Wu as in dancing!"

"It's nice to meet you Xiao Wu. This is Zhu Zhuqing." Tang Zhen said. But he immediately regretted it as the two girls seemed to be locked in fierce gaze. Each sensing a hostility towards the other. He could swear he saw electric beams shooting out of their eyes clashing but it was probably his imagination.

"*Ahem* Xiao Wu, I see you don't have any bedding, do you need to go buy some?"

Shooting a challenging glance at Zhu Zhuqing, Xiao Wu said boldly, "Tang Zhen your bedding is so large, i can just share with you! I'll move my bed closer."

Tang Zhen was speechless but he was delighted on the inside. Soon after the hair on his neck started to stand and he felt an aura of death behind him. Slowly turning his head he saw Zhu Zhuqing's glare that was about to put a whole through his head.

Zhu Zhuqing not willing to be outdone, grabbed Tang Zhen by the arm placing it between her unusually budding chest and said softly, "Big brother Tang Zhen, Zhuqing is tired, can we go to sleep now?"

Tang Zhen not willing to be labeled as a pedophile used inhumane willpower to the point a vein was showing on his forehead to not fly backwards with a nosebleed.

Xiao Wu stunned to hear Zhuqing call Tang Zhen "big brother" grabbed his other arm and called him "big brother Tang Zhen" and he promptly passed out from trying to hold on with blood trickling down his nose and the tenderness of both girls.

As both girls started fussing over him while throwing glares at each other, no one noticed the background characters on the ground hitting with their fists screaming how unfair life was.

No one paid attention to the average looking kid with blue hair who was staring blankly as he said his name 5 times but no one acknowledged him.
