Doctor and His Glamorous Sister-in-Law

This was because many of the extremely profound techniques in the *Divine Dragon Life-Extending Needle* and the *Hundred Turns Nine Sounds Phoenix Needle* required the aid of qi to be performed. Previously, Liu Ergou could only use the more common techniques from these two sets to treat illnesses.

Now, Liu Ergou possessed qi. This meant he could finally use the advanced acupuncture techniques from both medical texts. Healing people would become much simpler for him. At this thought, joy surged through Liu Ergou's heart.

"Sister-in-law, I'm really fine now!" he declared, sitting up on his own and patting his chest to show he was perfectly healthy.

When Xu Yulan saw him sit up, she rushed forward in a panic, intending to make him lie back down, but Liu Ergou stopped her.

"I'm really fine, Sister-in-law. Have you forgotten? I'm a doctor myself!"

Hearing this, Xu Yulan looked at him with lingering doubt.

Before Xu Yulan could say a word, Liu Ergou stood up from the bed and gently pushed her down onto it so her back was facing him.
