Xu Yulan was still too stunned to react, only coming to her senses when she felt Liu Ergou's hand on her waist.

"Er Gou... you're back..." she said, her face flushing with shyness.

Liu Ergou simply nodded before lowering his head and kissing her deeply. The kiss lasted for a long time, only stopping when Xu Yulan grew breathless.

Looking at him, Xu Yulan whispered, "Er Gou, why are you back so early? I thought..."

He cut her off before she could finish. "I missed you, Sister-in-law, so I made a point of coming back early today!"

As he spoke, Liu Ergou began stripping off his clothes. In a matter of moments, he was down to his underwear. Staring at the sight, Xu Yulan couldn't help but swallow, a flicker of both alarm and anticipation in her eyes. Before she could say another word, Liu Ergou embraced her again.
