Hui Hui had more important matters to attend to—matters that concerned his own future. He absolutely could not mess that up. So, for now, Liu Jingming had to find another way.

Just as Liu Jingming was agonizing over his problem, Liu Ergou, on his way back, ran into Liu Yunxi, who hadn't attended the meeting.

"Hey? Yun Xi?" Liu Ergou called out in surprise. "What are you doing here? I was just wondering why you weren't at the meeting."

Startled by his call, the walking Liu Yunxi jumped. "AH?!"

When she realized it was Liu Ergou, she breathed a sigh of relief. "Whew, you scared me, Er Gou," she said, patting her chest. "I went to town to pick up a test report. What meeting are you talking about?"

At her words, Liu Ergou understood. So, she had gone to town; no wonder she wasn't there. He quickly recounted the events of the meeting.

When Liu Yunxi heard that Liu Ergou planned to lease the wasteland to grow medicinal herbs, her eyes lit up. "Growing medicinal herbs, huh!" she mumbled, then said, "I must say, Er Gou, you've made the right choice!"

"The package I just went to collect was the soil test report from a while ago. The report shows that our Fengzhu Village's soil is rich in trace elements. It's very suitable for farming. I was just wondering what we could plant to lift ourselves out of poverty. I never expected you'd pick the perfect thing for me!"
