Dimensional Tycoon: I Make Trillions in Every World

Chapter 107: Berry

"Big Brother Noa, maybe you could plant something here?"

Yun Qiqi's voice grew softer. Her round eyes shone with wonder and excitement, her cheeks puffing with expectations.

Not wanting to disappoint her, Noa knelt beside her.

Without a word, he retrieved the seed from his inventory, feeling its pulsing energy in his fingers.

It had no glowing effects.

Just a tiny thing with a sweet smell and a rough texture.

It was also warm to the touch, like it had burned near the star that never truly died. The moment the seed left the system, the grass shook in his direction.

A low tremor passed through the soil.

The water rippled from the lake, almost starting waves in its calmness.

"What's that?" Yun Qiqi asked, noticing a red seed between Noa's fingers. "Is it something delicious?"

"Berry," he answered shortly.

The little girl blinked.

She had never tasted a berry before, but seeing its crimson shade was enough to make her salivate.

Noa, however, touched the ground first.

His nails brushed against the dirt, sensing their powerful presence.

Then, he placed the seed gently into the hole Qiqi had made, waiting for something to happen. Luckily, the garden knew what to do.

Especially after Noa willed the ground to take the seed he had offered.

Immediately, the dirt stirred, drinking it.

There was no sound.

Neither did the world begin shaking.

Noa didn't move after doing the deed, eyes fixed on the ground as if waiting for more. Sure enough, after swallowing the seed whole, the hole closed.

Instantly, the place mended itself, and new grass grew on top of it, hiding all the damage it had gone through.

'That was quick,' Noa thought.

Just then, his senses picked up something beneath his feet.

The roots.

They expanded deep underground, growing infinitely with no intention of stopping. The path it took was chaotic, barely forming spiraling currents as if searching for the energy it could only find far away from the surface.

To his surprise, Noa's senses stretched with it.

He felt every turn the root made, every tiny rock it passed, and even every worm registered in his head.

Yun Qiqi watched the ground with interest.

She waited for a full five seconds, like she expected a tree to sprout instantly. But when nothing burst out of it, her head shook in disappointment, eyes landing on Noa for the answers.

"Hmmm. Maybe it's shy," she muttered, her hope still not dying.

Noa didn't stand up either.

He brushed the soil from his hands, waiting for Qiqi's wish to become a reality.

And it did.

Not as slowly as they had expected, but the ground suddenly split open and hurled a full-grown tree skyward, forcing Noa to react quickly and pull the girl to safety.

It didn't grow.

It emerged from a single seed.

One moment, there was only fresh grassed soil with a new, relaxing scent that sent relaxing signals to the brain.

And the next moment, the earth couldn't even crack up.

In a single, fluid motion, a thick trunk had shot upward, looming into existence.

After being saved, Qiqi didn't stop.

Yes, her heart raced and her mind jumbled with thoughts, but it wasn't because she had just stared into the abyss moments ago.

It was because she wanted to know more.

So, after standing up and silently thanking Noa, she extended both of her hands.

They quickly reached the tree.

"Whaaaa!" she exclaimed, almost hugging it. "It's warm."

Noa moved as well. He, too, ignored the danger they had just faced and felt the smooth surface of his first plant.

It was tall.

Taller than any berry he had ever seen.

Its branches were thick with vigor, outstretched far into the garden.

Yet, there were no shades behind it, as if the light dodged its branches, going directly under it.

"What about the fruit?" the little girl asked suddenly.

Although her voice still carried the usual excitement, she wanted to experience more.

Unfortunately for her, the tree needed three days for the berry to grow and ripen, leaving her with no other choice but to wait.

At least it had leaves.

Thick green leaves filled the view.

After hearing the time she had to spend waiting before tasting the berry, Yun Qiqi's cheeks puffed with displeasure.

She wanted to argue.

Perhaps she even wanted to throw a fit like a kid.

Yet the only thing she did was to lower her head and grit her teeth.

She wasn't so unreasonable to demand something that couldn't be done, especially when trees needed years to grow.

Hence, she took Puff and held him in her arms, squeezing him tightly.

Noa noticed her cute reactions and grinned to himself, eagerly awaiting the moment she would laugh with joy after devouring the fruit.

However, there were at least two other girls who shared her emotions.

Xue Hanly was the first one.

She, much like Qiqi, wanted to see what the fruit looked like and possibly even taste it.

A tingle of disappointment was expressed through her lowered lips, and glancing at her senior sister to gauge her reaction, Xue found nothing on her face.

But—

That was because Qing Xuan only expressed sadness internally.

She also wanted to see the fruit that could grow in Alchemy God's garden.

But after remembering how Noa had mentioned his new hobby, it made sense for him not to force the tree to do something.

He just wanted to enjoy the process.

The garden where the Alchemy God had spent his entire lifetime and created heaven-defying products, Noa only wanted to have some fun.

And considering Noa's status, it was understandable.

Mo Yuhua had no reaction whatsoever—she had long predicted that Noa wanted to play around the garden.

Her sole interest was to find out why he had kept her by his side for so long.

As if to answer her question, Noa's calm gaze moved in her direction, eyeing her for a moment, as if thinking what to do with her.

Then he blinked. "I have a final room for you to see."
