Chapter 84: Berserk
"it's general Rengyotsu!!"some chorused.
Some tried responding to the message but the link had been blocked.
Ren stood on the tree watching them debate whether or not to go through with the order as his white garment fluttered in the whipping wind.
The wind hissed as large tornadoes erupted from various areas of the forest blowing away trees along with it.
Emperor Tyran opened his mouth and looked upwards,a golden beam of light emerged from it and shot into the sky.
Suddenly, the whole forest started to rumble as lightening flashes scattered in various part of the forest, terrifying all who saw it.
The Generals quickly ordered chief Knights who passed on words via telepathy, asking everyone to leave for the imperial field.
Beams from opened portals appeared in different parts of the forest as both demons who got and didn't get the message fled for Delvin.
Ren stayed behind watching Tyran from the tree he stood when they had all left.
Getting upset from the news of his Knight's demise was what he had expected from the emperor but not to this extent.
He had gone entirely berserk.
The pain, sorrow and guilt he felt had triggered this reaction,it made the general wondered how much he had loved his knight.
The Emperor had this illness that he had only mentioned to Ren,now everyone had seen him in this state.
The illness manifested by making his extreme emotions to sometimes cause a temporary loss of memory overwhelming him with the desire to let it out by destroying everything around him.
He had made Ren promise to be by his side whenever this happened to stop him and according to the emperor's wishes he would stop him from hurting himself or destroying this forest at all cost.
Ren jumped off the tree, spreading his wings and letting it lift him.
He flew quickly towards Tyran, dodging bolts of lightening while countering the wind to maintain stability in air as he flew.
The general flew him from behind Tyran, when he was up close Tyran turned his head slightly to see him.
Ren was answered with a large thunder bolt from above nearing him at the speed of light.
On getting to him,he tore it apart before appearing Infront of Tyran.
He placed both his index and middle finger on the Emperor's forehead, pushing it slightly backwards then raised his other hand above to diverge an approaching lightening bolt away from him.
His eyes glowed bright Red as he muttered a command.
"Sleep!"
Tyran's eyes swung shut and Ren caught him, gripping him from under his abdomen.
Immediately, the lightening and strong wind ceased, the dark clouds paved way for the sun's beam.
Ren stretched out a hand to open a portal to Tyran's bedchamber.
He gently placed him on the bed, pulled the sheets over and watched him for a while.
He sung the bed curtain shut before teleporting to Fiona's bed Chamber to check on Ramses.

King Maxmillian arrived at the location his company was gripping his chest tightly as blood drooled from him mouth.
He had walked all the way allowing the poison which succeeded in weakening him to seep through his blood.
The Semonios rushed to him surrounding him as he dropped to the ground his chest heaving.
A hand rested on his chest surrounded by a blue glow as it began draining away his pain.
"What happened?"The King asked you had gone missing all of a sudden and your condition is not good".
"Dark.."King Maxmillian said almost in a whisper."I went after him, after noticing his presence,we fought but..."
King Maxmillian paused and swung his eyes shut.
The king placed his ear close to king Maxmillian's nose.
"He's still breathing"He announced."But he needs the best healers right now_"
Suddenly, flashes of lightening arose from different areas of the forest accompanied by various loud thunder claps as dark clouds gathered.
"What in the world is going on!"a demon spoke out from the crowd as the stared at the sky.
'What else other than the wrath of an enraged berserk broken emperor..'king max thought holding back a grin.
He couldn't see what was going on through shut eyes but he could hear the noises clearly,no one except the emperor could do such thing.
"Nothing we need to wait to find out...General Zhu!Open a portal now!"the king yelled out.

It was almost sunset when they arrived, marching through the streets of Urah all the way to the imperial palace.
As usual, they had all teleported from the imperial palace to Urah's palace to begin the march back to the imperial palace and Urah's inhabitants gathered to welcome them.
The grief that hung in their air made the inhabitants wonder if they had gotten the energy sources as promised.
There was unusually no drums or musics only trumpets as the soilders walked with slumped postures, lowered heads and weighted gazes, the march held no life in it.
The march was lead by the kings on horseback instead of the Emperor causing speculations about his death to arise followed by Loud mumoring erupting from various corners
of the streets as residents began searching with their eyes for their loved ones.
The ladies particularly gathered searching for the Emperor's Knight since he was the most famous among them.
Every young lady loved him,and although he was not a royal, every young lady wanted him for herself.
They gathered, walking along the sidelines while craning their neck inseach of him through the endless rows of exausted warriors.
When they could not find him they whispered to one another, concluding he was with the emperor probably at the imperial palace but everyone ached for an announcement or anything that could be a clue as to what happened.

"They are here!!"Carolene muttered as she opened her bed curtain and jumped out of bed upon hearing the sound of a trumpet.
She had been waiting all night for this moment and finally they were back.
From her vantage point she could sight the large imperial flag of a golden falcon and purple stripes along side the golden embroidery on its edges.
Carolene quickly threw on her shoes and swung on her favorite dress.
Tyran had ordered her not to leave the empress's chambers but he was supposed to be matching with them and with the crowd she would ensure to go unnoticed, she just wanted to see him,and perhaps he would take the emperor's permission to come to her if she was noticed by him.
Carolene went over a mirror in her room, dressed hair and put on a light makeup.
She checked her face for blemish of any sort and when she found none, smiled at her own reflection then went over to the door, swinging it open.
Carolene gazed at the room where Ramses was.
She walked into it and opened the bed curtains.
The child's grey eyes stared back at her.
He was awake, just what she did not need at this moment of her life but if she talked to him, perhaps he would listen.
"I will be back in a short while, please don't leave this place I beg of you".
Ramses glared at her for a while, his eyes staring from her head then at the dress she wore to the part of the bed that concealed the rest of her body from his sight.
He abruptly turned his face away, cooing loudly.
Carolene went, over to the door, took one last look at the Ramses's bed before shutting it.
Although deep within her,she feared Ramses would open the door and make his way out again deep down she knew what her greatest fear was,Gerald getting hurt or something worse.
Right now all she could think about was him,her mind would never be at rest till she saw him and she could not wait any longer.
Carolene swung the main door open and raced down the hallway.
