DILEmma

"who am I?"General Wang raised a brow,his voice now that of two people,one deep and the other thick hoarse.

He grinned and let out a malicious laughter which resonated in the forest.

A whirlwind immediately surrounded them blowing some leaves on the Forest floor mingled with dust particles into the air.

Both general and Knight shielded their eyes with their arms from the dust.

When the wind subsided, they lowered their arms to find a tall heavy bodied tanned demon dressed in black clothes designed with gold embroidery standing next to general Wang.

"Who are you?"the general questioned and dark cracked a chuckle.

"Your saviour"

"What?"

"Here to save you from your miserable existence".

General yin clenched his teeth in rage and made a move to attack when the knight placed a hand on his shoulders.

"Careful my lord,am sure you sense dark magic coming from him he must be an extremely strong foe"

"A sorcerer!"The general said as he turned to the Lindau who nodded in affirmation, alienating his horse.

General yin faced the demons in front of him pointing his sword at them.

"Before I kill you I will ask you one question... sorcerers don't meddle in affairs of the realm who are you and why are you doing this?"

Dark scoffed then his face lit in amusement.

"Before you kill me?..that is the most outrageous thing I ever heard in my entire life..and that is two questions not one, nevertheless I will answer the second"

The sorcerer paused and placed both hands on his waist.

"None of your business".

Dark's face twisted in a smirk and General yin vanished.

"Where have you taken him!"Lindau barked.

"Oh I promise you will see him soon".

The Chief knight slowly stepped backwards,his eyes filled with terror.

He could sense the magic energy emanating from Dark and without General Yin he was clearly at a disadvantage.

General Wang raced towards him,sword in hand landing a blow which the Knight blocked with his sword.

Their swords clanged through series of attack and counterattacks but Lindau was a better swordsman,a chief knight deserving of a higher tittle he had been denied of in the imperial army.

His sword plunged through the undead's chest,withdrawing to slash off his arm that held his sword.

But he kept alive,the General gripped Lindau's sword instead and the Chief knight landed him a kick before his legs pinned him to the ground.

His sword went for it's downward plunge but he stopped midair when General yin appeared next to him with sword pointed at the sorcerer.

"My lord!take him down!"the belated Knight called out.

In an instant,Lindau sensed a sword behind him,he teleported away,just in time to escape General Yin's blade.

The Chief Knight stared at the general whose eyes was darkened,his skin pale and bloodless.

"No one escapes the Valley of death but I did bring him back as promised"Dark let out a chilling sinister chuckle.

Lindau shivered in fright as he backed away thinking of a solution.

A Loud neigh drew his attention as their horses sprinted into the darkness through the trees, even the horses could no longer hold back their fright.

"VA...valley of death?"

"A dimension where time stands still a home for the dead which I now control the gates thereof"

"For... forbidden magic..."

"Yes...Created by me...but the keys given to me as a boy by the lord of the Underworld himself"Dark completed.

"You know what happens when one messes with the underworld you clearly are no living thing yourself... there's a big price to pay!".

"Yes...you have no idea how good it feels to be neither living or dead and for you being knowledgeable I will answer the remaining question your superior asked earlier...I am Dark one of the four mightiest sorcerers of the realm".

The mighty sorcerer infamous for his treacherous deeds,who was banished from Delvin many years ago,every one had heard of him,now he was certain he would die here.

Lindau swallowed with difficulty,he established a telepathic link, searching for someone nearby within his telepathic range.

They had wondered too far from the rest of their group there was no way he could reach anyone there but there had to be someone close by,someone who could hear him.

He needed more time.

Lindau fell to his knees and lowered his head, feigning a surrender.

"Please spare me"he muttered still searching till he finally got someone who was not too far away.

He hesitated at first to speak with him through a telepathic link,everyone knew this demon hated it but he had no choice.

Although he might not arrive on time to save him he was certain he was strong enough to defeat the sorcerer before him.

"General...help us!"Lindau called out loud.

The person on the other end got his message and responded immediately.

"Where are you?"

"I am_"Lindau didn't finish before Dark slit his throat open, disconnecting the link completely.

The Chief Knight fell to his knees,both hands gripping his throat as blood heavily rushed out from it.

Lindau raised his head and his furrowed eyes locked eyes with that of his killer.

"You will regret this!"he said through a mouthful of blood.

Dark scoffed and kicked his head, sending him falling to the ground completely.

He raised his leg and looked deeply into the Chief Knight's eyes.

"Oh!.....a lot of people say that".

He squashed the Knight's skull with his leg,over and over again.

When he stopped he glanced over at the generals,freeing them from his necromancy and allowing them drop to the floor.

Dark stared at the bodies for a while wondering who he had contacted.

His foolish attempt in yelling out his call for help had just given him away giving him a chance to slit his throat on time before their position was given out.

Whoever he had contacted was on his way here,a place not too far from where the Emperor's Knight had been killed.

If it was a higher tier he would find the Emperor's Knight body in no time,they had to leave immediately.
