Destroying My Own World

Chapter 423: Prediction.

Mykel and the others looked at the universe with no master in it, and it was so peaceful and calming. Although they wanted to enjoy it a bit more, they had something important to do and that was to fight Aevia from their timeline. But, when they were about to go, Mykel stopped them because he realized it wasn't their decision to kill her or not.

At first, everyone was confused as to why Mykel stopped them until he explained the consequences of killing Aevia. The reason was simple and it was because if they killed Aevia, the Mykel from Lyneth's timeline wouldn't exist. He told them that Aevia needed to stay alive until their other selves could exist and become the ones that would fight Aevia.

"So our job here is done then?" Aurea asked with her eyebrows raised.

"Yes, and I believe it's time for us to join them," Mykel nodded in agreement. "We just need to wait for Lyneth to send us there since she's the only one who can do it," he added.

Everyone waited for Lyneth, but Lyneth hadn't shown herself even though they had done their job. They didn't complain because it was perfect since Amaryllis could work on Lilith and help her gain the same power as her sisters. Enjoy new tales from My Virtual Library Empire

After waiting for hours, Lyneth and Amaryllis landed in front of them and they both seemed to be in a serious conversation. They wondered what took them so long to come, and they had been eager to go and help their other selves.

"We are good to go," Mykel looked at Lyneth.

"You haven't killed Aevia from this timeline. You should go there and kill her," Lyneth responded with her arms crossed. "I know what you're thinking, but it's not a problem if you kill her now. My power is capable of manipulating the past, and that also means I can either alter it or force it back to how it is supposed to be. You don't have to worry because I have planned on doing this since the beginning," she added.

Mykel didn't need to ask any further questions to Lyneth because he believed in her. Lyneth then opened a portal for them so they didn't have to trouble themselves looking for the path. After she opened the portal, Mykel and the others went inside to finish one last job from their timeline.

When they saw Aevia, they realized how powerful she was even though the one they were seeing was only a tenth of the real Aevia. It was important to measure how strong the real Aevia was and it was a good thing that they faced her past first or they might get surprised.

"They might feel underwhelmed when they find out how weak she is," Amaryllis pointed out as she looked at the portal.

"Yes, that's why I'm going to help Aevia a bit. They need to taste the endless fight and learn about Aevia's abilities and how to deal with them," Lyneth answered and she looked serious about it. "The more I manipulate the past, the stronger my power becomes. I can see the outcomes of the fight already with all the alterations that I'm going to do..." She added as she looked at her hands and she felt numbness on her fingertips.

Lyneth felt like she went further and further away from everyone, and the touch of reality. Her mind and way of thinking had adrift to a place where nobody could understand where only herself could understand. She wasn't trying to distance herself, but something was telling her that it was unavoidable.

Her loneliness had turned her into someone new, her senses were leaving her behind because she started to think they were unnecessary. She was scared, but she felt comfort at the same time and she didn't know what to do or what would she become if things kept going on like this.

Amaryllis suddenly held Lyneth's hand and it snapped her back to reality to look at Amaryllis.

"You're not the only one who feels lonely, Lyn. Mykel endured the same feeling as yours, even Elena went through the same thing," Amaryllis said as she kept looking at the portal and held Lyneth's hand. "Don't forget they want to see you more than any of us. So, don't pull yourself away and stay here with us," she looked at Lyneth with a gentle smile.

Lyneth was surprised by Amaryllis' words as if she could read her thoughts and feelings. Suddenly, Elena came out of the portal and it made both of them confused since she had just entered a few minutes ago. Before Lyneth could open her mouth, Elena disappeared and reappeared in front of her and started to hug her so tightly.

"Mother, I missed you..." Elena said as she hid her face and kept hugging Lyneth. "I'm sorry for everything, and I want to be with you..." She continued and started to hug Lyneth so tightly. "So let's meet once you've done your business here," she pushed herself away to look at Lyneth's face.

"Of course, sweetheart," Lyneth nodded with her teary eyes and hugged Elena tightly. "I'm not going anywhere and I'll see you as soon as possible," she whispered.

Elena smiled and then she went back into the portal to join Mykel and the others.

Lyneth was happy to hear that and made her feel better, but that wasn't the only thing that happened to her. The numbness on her fingertips disappeared and she could feel the blood running through her veins again.

Mykel swung his kick at Aevia with a decent amount of strength and Aevia could easily block it. He didn't retract his foot and kept pushing it down by adding more power. The moment he released more strength on his foot, Aevia had no choice but to move away.

The others were watching in the distance because Mykel wanted to test how far he could push Aevia in his current state. They knew that Mykel could easily defeat Aevia, but he was trying to gather more information about her while at the same time absorbing her power to empower himself.

Aevia knew that it wouldn't be wise to keep fighting because if she used more than she should, her other selves from the future would lose more power. She decided to end it once and for all because she didn't want to satisfy Mykel and the others.

When she purposely took all the attacks and transferred all her power to support herself from the future, she collapsed and was about to disappear. But to her surprise, the time got rewound and she got her power back and she didn't know who did it. She couldn't believe that someone could manipulate her existence, and she wondered who did it among those people in front of her.

"Who?! Who did this?!" Aevia screamed and released an overwhelming pressure that was enough to bend everyone's back toward the ground. She looked at each one of them but she didn't see the one who manipulated the time and brought her back. "None of you here is the one who did it..." She looked so furious and she was convinced that she needed to know who did it.

Aevia took all the power from her past, erasing her remaining existence in the past, and brought her to her. She believed that whoever manipulated her existence was a real threat to those who were in front of her. She didn't care about the future because the present was more important and would save her and herself from the future.

Her power grew stronger and everyone was overwhelmed by the sudden growth. She snapped her fingers and created a barrier to protect her existence and prevent anyone from leaving and entering. She had decided to take things seriously and planned to get rid of all of them.

Mykel who was the closest from Aevia was the one who tasted how strong she was. He was punched in the chest and it was enough to break his bones. Before his body got thrown away from the force, Aevia released a powerful energy into his body and it made him throw up blood.

Seeing Mykel in that state, Elena didn't hesitate to walk into the fight and did the same to Aevia, but her punch wasn't as strong as hers. She then did the same thing as Elena did, clashing her life energy with Aevia's, turning the whole space like a cocoon that prevented Aevia from leaving.

Lyneth and Amaryllis were watching from a small pocket in space. Amaryllis was shocked that Aevia would go that far which either gave them the opportunity to end it all or destroyed Mykel and the others completely. She then looked at Lyneth who didn't seem to care about what was going on.

"You knew this was going to happen," Amaryllis squinted her eyes and kept staring at Lyneth.

"I do, and I also know the outcomes of this," Lyneth slowly turned her head to look at Amaryllis. "That's why I'm doing this because this is the best situation we can ever get," she added.
