Chapter 414: Came as promised.
The Lord saw his servants, his most powerful servants that could destroy the whole universe under his command had been annihilated by the Demon Princesses. The only ones that were still alive were the Archangels, Michaels, and his brethren because they were staying by his side.
The Lord stood up from his throne and the archangels immediately went on their knees with their heads down. He had no choice but to fight the Demon Princesses, and he didn't know if he alone could handle all of them. He wasn't even confident that he could handle Luciel alone, and he was sure that the archangels couldn't handle the other sisters.
Michael and the others received The Lord's command and immediately merged into one. The last and final form that was close to perfection, was Metatron. They flew toward Luciel, but before they could even reach her, Metatron's body got split and turned back to its original form.
"Who said that you guys can become one?" Nephilim asked as she held her book. "We need toys to play with, so let's have some fun," she closed her book and then teleported all the archangels and her sisters to a different place.
The only ones left were Luciel and The Lord, and then The Lord resurrected all the fallen angels. Before he could command them to occupy Luciel, they were cut in tiny slices as small as a speck of dust, not just them but the whole kingdom was sliced as well. That was when The Lord knew that Luciel's patient was getting thinner and what he did made her feel annoyed.
"You must be wondering about who we are, and why are we doing this," Luciel said as she walked toward the Lord. "Then how about you look for it yourself?" She looked up and then swung her sword upward with all her might.
The universe that was supposed to be endless and The Lord who knew every inch of the vastness never thought there was something beyond the world he created. He looked at the white light that sipped through the crack that Luciel had opened, and that was when he saw a woman standing in the middle, staring down at them.
"That's the one who created you, a being that hiding behind the curtain, watching her creation grow and fall over and over," Luciel said as she stared at Aevia. "Well, she will die in my hand soon, so she can watch until it's her turn," she added and then glanced at The Lord.
The Lord had so many questions in mind, but he was in a situation where his life was in danger. He decided to fight Luciel and used his power to defeat her by releasing a beam of light that was so powerful it turned the stars and planets into dust.
"I remember the day when I was too powerless in your presence and your overwhelming power," Luciel said and she was unscathed by The Lord's attack. "I was a mere Princess, a fictional character made from words. I never thought I would become like this," she added as she looked at The Lord.
The Lord realized he wasn't in the same league as Luciel, and there was nothing he could do to stop her. She then looked at Beldathiel who was sleeping peacefully, unscathed, and unbothered by everything that was happening. He had lost the fight, and it was already over before it even started, so he accepted his fate.
Luciel simply flicked her sword, cut The Lord's existence like it was nothing, and killed him. She wondered what was The Lord's last thought before he was killed, and what kind of emotion he felt.
Vixelleth and the others came back and they had their fun playing with the archangels. They saw the crack in the space and saw Aevia standing still, watching them. Zherlthsh then carried Beldathiel on her back and then regrouped with the others.
"I think I'm strong enough to kill her on my own. You guys can watch, and if I can't kill her, you guys can join in," Luciel said as she held her sword tightly.
They all nodded and then Luciel flew toward the crack in space to fight Aevia on her own.
Lyneth was watching each whirlpool where everyone dealt with it, and then she saw Luciel and her sisters coming out of the whirlpool. She then let Sasha's army eat the whirlpool since the job was already done for Luciel.
Countless whirlpools had been cleared, and they did it faster than ever because they had found Aevia's weakness, a loophole within her power. They never thought they had gone all the way to the latest world that Aevia had created, and they didn't realize it was the last stop before they could finally join with Mykel and Elena.
"On this world, we won't be destroying it because this is where we live. Aevia might not be affected by her past, but we do. If we destroy this record, we will disappear with it, or at least that's what I think," Lyneth said as she looked at the whirlpool in front of her.
"So? We are just going to kill Aevia and The Lord in that world?" Jeanne looked at Lyneth.
"No, we're not going to do that," Lyneth shook her head slowly. "There's something more important to do than killing them," she said.
Everyone looked at each other and wondered what Lyneth was planning to do. Rozan thought that maybe Lyneth wanted to make themselves from the past to gain power to help them. But, if they changed in the past, what would happen to them in the future? The answer to that would be they were going to create another parallel universe.
"We are not going to touch anything from our past. What happened in our past, it's better to be left untouched," Lyneth said after she read Rozan's thought. "We don't want to risk anything that would jeopardize our plan," she added.
"So what are we going to do then? What's the more important thing that we have to do?" Aurea furrowed her eyebrows and looked at Lyneth.
"Just follow me," Lyneth said and then entered the whirlpool.
Everyone entered the whirlpool and they watched everything from the beginning again. They watched The Lord create the universe and then Lyenth brought them to Earth and saw Mykel working on his story on his laptop. Everyone could only stand there and watch Lyneth do her thing, and then she snapped her fingers where Mykel entered the novel world.
Everyone wanted to ask Lyneth what was the point of watching everything from the beginning again until suddenly Lyneth did the same thing again. She broke the realm and met with Mykel like last time, and that was what made everyone so confused. Even Amaryllis had no idea what Lyneth was trying to do, so they decided to tag along with Lyneth's play.
After Lyneth was done talking with Mykel, she snapped her fingers again to the point where Mykel went back to Earth. They watched as Lyneth broke the realm again and entered the pub where Mykel was drinking on his own after the demon invasion happened. They listened to their conversation, and that was when they realized what she was trying to do.
"So you're planning to save them?" Aurea asked and looked at Lyneth with a cold expression. "Even if I'm not good at this thing, don't you say if we dealt with the past it would create a new outcome? You said it yourself that we shouldn't try to change the past, and you did it yourself, especially to him, the one who is supposed to sacrifice himself so we can survive," she pointed out.
"I know," Lyneth looked at Aurea. "I know what I'm doing. It's not only that I did him a favor, but to your other self and to ourselves as well. Trust me on this one," she said and she looked determined.
They couldn't say anything since Lyneth asked them to trust her, and she looked like she knew what she was doing.
Lyneth fast-forwarded the time and saw Mykel and his team manipulating the world. It was the most fun time they had because it was the only time they were against the world. The excitement still lingered deep in everyone's heart, and how amusing it was to see the world burn because of them.
Lyneth snapped her fingers and brought everyone to the Empyrean World. It was when Mykel and the others were trying to create a parallel universe to deal with The Lord.
"This is where we will change the presence," Lyneth looked at everyone. "It's time to greet ourselves from this timeline," she snapped her fingers and created a crack in the space.
Mykel and the others watched the crack in the space, and it made everyone on guard and prepared to fight because they thought The Lord had managed to enter their safe place.
"Stand down, it's not him," Mykel said as he stared at the crack. "It's our ally," he said.
Lyneth came out of the crack and was then followed by the others. That was when Mykel's team stood there in disbelief when they saw themselves in front of them.
"Are you here to keep your promise?" Mykel looked at Lyneth.
"Yes, but a promise is just a promise. I can't carry all the burden by myself," Lyneth said with a serious expression.
"Have I ever taken anything for granted?" Mykel smirked as he looked at Lyneth.
