Chapter 390: Stop Shaking It!
Right now, the situation was strange. Very, very, very strange.
Just a moment ago, Cassius and Nala had been chasing each other around the moonlit clearing like a pair of children playing tag.
But now?...Now Nala was perched high atop one of the tallest trees in the clearing, her entire tail coiled tightly around the trunk for dear life, as she looked down at him with wide, frightened eyes.
And Cassius?
Well...he was standing at the bottom of the tree completely naked.
Not a shred of clothing on him, not even a loose scrap of fabric clinging to his skin. His already broad chest gleamed faintly under the moonlight, his hair messy from the chase.
But the most alarming thing, the thing that had made Nala climb the tree in the first place, was the fact that he had a very obvious, very hard, rock-solid erection standing proud between his legs. It was massive, so massive that it almost seemed inhuman, casting a long shadow over the grass as it twitched faintly.
"GET AWAY! GET AWAY FROM ME!"
Nala cried down from the tree, clutching the trunk so hard that bark was breaking under her coils. Her face was flushed from both effort and embarrassment.
"And for the love of the gods, stop swinging that thing around! It's so huge it's terrifying!"
Cassius looked up at her with a lopsided grin, completely unfazed by her panic. "I'm not swinging it on purpose! It's wobbling on its own! What do you expect me to do, tie it down?"
"That's exactly what you should do!" She shrieked. "Tie it down, cover it, do something! Don't just stand there letting it point at me like it's going to attack!"
Cassius let out a long, weary sigh, dragging a hand down his face.
How did it even come to this? He thought. Just minutes ago, they had been darting around the clearing, teasing, bickering, chasing each other like it was some childish game.
But then, of course, his luck had run out. His clothes had already been half-destroyed from the Leviathan's acid, barely hanging on. Every sprint, every dodge, every spin with Nala had tugged at the fraying fabric until finally, rip. Everything just gave way at once, his tattered shirt and pants falling off in strips until he was left with absolutely nothing.
And naturally, because the gods clearly hated him, he hadn't just ended up naked. Oh no, his body had betrayed him even further. Now he stood there completely bare with a raging erection swinging at his thighs like some obscene banner announcing itself to the whole forest.
And poor Nala...the instant her wide eyes caught sight of it, she screamed in fright and bolted straight up the nearest tree.
Not away, not into the lake, straight up a tree, wrapping herself around the trunk like a terrified squirrel while glaring down at him with flushed cheeks and panic in her eyes.
"Nala, you're going to hurt yourself up there if you keep hugging that tree like that." Cassius sighed, one hand rubbing the back of his neck. "It doesn't look very sturdy, if a branch snaps, you'll come tumbling down. Just come down. I swear I won't do anything."
"As if I'd believe you when you've got your penis out!" She shouted back, pointing down at him with shaking fingers. "Do you think I'm stupid?! There's no way I'm coming down with that thing still standing!"
Cassius actually chuckled at that, glancing down at himself with a kind of amused helplessness before looking back up at her. "It's not like I can magically make it go away right now! And it's not my fault anyway!"
"Not your fault?!" Nala screeched. "How in the world is that not your fault?! You're the one who's hard!"
"Well yeah..." He said, completely shameless. "...because of you."
Her jaw dropped. "WHAT?!"
"Think about it." He shrugged, utterly unbothered. "Half the time during that chase your breasts were bouncing right in front of me, and you even smackee me in the face earlier. What do you think was going to happen from all of that?"
Nala looked down at herself, realizing with dawning horror that her chest was still fully exposed, her nipples stiff and poking out from the night air. With a strangled sound she immediately crossed her arms over her chest and glared furiously down at him.
"D-Don't say that out loud, you shameless man!"
But Cassius wasn't finished. He tilted his head back and smiled evily.
"And let's not forget the fact that I also got a taste of your tongues earlier. That alone was enough to make me lose my mind. Honestly, I think you should take responsibility for that."
Her face turned pink at the memory of him sucking on her split tongue, her body twitching involuntarily as the warmth of the moment came back to her.
"And..." Cassius continued, his tone almost teasing now. "...while you had me wrapped up with your tail earlier, do you have any idea what that felt like?"
"It was smooth, tight, rubbing right up against me, honestly, I thought you were doing it on purpose...How could I not get hard from that?"
Nala's whole body went rigid in shock, her coils tightening around the tree until the bark cracked again.
"Yeah." Cassius simply nodded, smiling faintly. "So really, if you think about it, you're the one responsible for this." He gestured casually to his erection, utterly shameless.
"You—YOU'RE BLAMING ME?!" Nala's tail thrashed so hard that a few leaves rained down from the tree. "You're actually saying that it's my fault you're turned on right now?! You—You pervert! You, you freak of a human!"
Cassius just grinned wider. "I mean...yeah. Pretty much."
Her lips worked soundlessly for a few moments as she tried to think of something to say. She was angry, furious, humiliated, and yet...for some reason, her heart was hammering like mad.
The fact that this man was saying with a straight face that she was the one who made him like this, that she was the reason he was so turned on, it made something coil warm and tight in her chest.
She had always thought that if a human ever saw her like this, with her tail exposed, her tongue split, her body flushed and sweating from the chase, they would run away screaming or look at her with disgust.
But instead...here he was, standing utterly naked and still smiling at her like she was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
And even though she was embarrassed out of her mind, a tiny, traitorous part of her felt oddly proud.
But still, Nala was terrified. Her heart was hammering, her mind screaming at her to stay as far away from Cassius as possible, because what was happening right now was far too much for her to process.
The way he looked at her, like she was the only thing in the world, was overwhelming. And she simply couldn't handle his relentless pursuit, the way he chased after her as though she belonged to him.
Cassius, meanwhile had enough.
"That's it. Enough games. If you won't come down, Nala, then I'm coming up. And if I have to drag you down myself, I will."
"NO! DON'T!" She shrieked from above, her voice almost breaking. "You stay right where you are!"
"Too late. You've left me no choice. I'm coming up." He planted his foot on the trunk as if ready to scale it.
But then—
Crack!
Both of them froze. A branch broke in the thicket just beyond the clearing. Faint whispers drifted through the night air, carrying the sound of more than one voice.
And Cassius's blood ran cold. He knew those voices.
"Skadi..." Came a familiar voice, impatient and whiny. "...are you sure you know where you're going? We've been running forever and you still haven't found Cassius. Are you even following his trail, or did you just pick up the scent of a tavern kitchen again?"
Another voice snapped back, bright and indignant:
"Shut up, Aisha! Of course I know! This is Master's scent, I swear it!"
A calmer voice joined in, gently chiding.
"Aisha, don't provoke Skadi. Let her focus. We need to find Cassius quickly. Who knows what's happened to him…"
Hearing this, Cassius went pale. He recognized all three immediately—Skadi, Aisha, and Julie.
The last people he wanted to see him naked, hard, and looking like he was terrorizing some poor lamia up a tree.
But before he could run, the bushes the bushes parted, and the first figure emerged—Skadi, her nose twitching like an eager hound as she broke into the clearing. Her eyes immediately lit up.
"Master! You're—"
But the words died in her throat.
Her gaze fell, and so did her heart. Cassius stood there utterly naked, his cock hard and swaying like some obscene pendulum under the moonlight.
Her face turned a shade redder than fresh blood, her ears twitching violently as her lips fumbled for sound. "M-M-Master…?"
Aisha stepped out next, confusion etched on her face.
"Skadi? What's wrong? Did you find—"
She froze mid-step. Her eyes widened, her mouth opening and closing without a word as she took in Cassius, completely exposed, and then Nala perched high in the tree, clutching herself as though cornered.
And finally, Julie appeared, brushing aside a branch.
"Ah, finally, the lake! And it's really so big—"
Her cheerful tone stopped dead as her eyes landed on Cassius. Or, more specifically, on what hung below his waist.
Her jaw nearly unhinged. "...big."
For a fleeting second, she thought maybe he'd just been bathing. That would explain his nudity. She even turned her head slightly, ready to give him privacy—until she noticed the lamia girl trembling up in the tree, looking on the verge of tears, and the way Cassius stood beneath her like he was hunting her down.
Julie's face twisted into confusion, then suspicion, and finally grim disbelief. She stepped forward, her voice low, almost breaking.
"Cassius...what exactly is happening here?" Her eyes locked on him, unwavering. "I know you. I know you're a good man. I know you wouldn't...you wouldn't do something like this."
She gestured sharply at the scene, the naked man, the terrified lamia, the massive erection.
"But right now, with how everything looks...it seems very, very wrong. And unless you explain yourself right now, I'll be forced to take action."
Cassius felt his stomach drop.
"Wait, wait, hold up! Julie, no, it's not what it looks like, I swear—"
He lifted his hands in frantic defense, but that only made things worse. His cock bobbed and swayed violently with every panicked gesture, drawing all their eyes against their will.
Aisha, face tight with conflicted trust, slowly raised her wand.
"Cassius...you know I trust you. You know I believe in you. But even I can't ignore how this looks. You need to explain yourself. Right now. Before I have no choice but to...intervene."
Cassius threw up his hands frantically.
"Wait—Wait! It's not what it looks like! I swear, it's a misunderstanding! She's not scared of me, I mean, well, okay she is, but not like that! She's my wife!"
He whirled toward the tree, calling desperately.
"Nala! Isn't that right? Tell them! I'm your husband!"
But Nala, trembling and flushed, said absolutely nothing.
The silence was damning.
Julie's frown deepened. Aisha's grip on her wand tightened.
Cassius, sweating bullets now, turned desperately toward Skadi.
"Skadi, you trust your master, right? You're a good girl, aren't you? You know I'd never, never do something like this. You trust me, don't you?"
Skadi winced, ears flattening, eyes wide with nervous conflict. Finally, she murmured.
"I...I do trust you, Master. I really do."
Relief flickered in Cassius's eyes, until she went on, voice trembling.
"…But even the gentlest puppy can suddenly go rabid...and bite without meaning to. Maybe...maybe that's what's happening to you right now."
Cassius froze, staring at her in disbelief.
"...Skadi...even you?"
Her voice was small, pitiful, but it struck Cassius like a hammer to the gut. Even Skadi...even she was doubting him.
