Chapter 351: Noble Knight Tainted With Sin
Julie opened her mouth, breath shaky, ready to spill it all, every sinful thought she'd buried, every shameful little impulse that had built up around Cassius until her pride cracked and collapsed.
She wanted her ultimate punishment, wanted to be scoured clean so she could stand tall again as the righteous, virtuous knight she told herself she was supposed to be.
But before a word left her lips, Cassius suddenly murmured. "Hold on."
Julie blinked up at him in surprise, confused. But before she could ask why, he slid an arm around her waist and lifted her as though she weighed nothing.
Her breath caught as he shifted her, placing her carefully back down across his lap, but not the way she expected. Not bent forward, not with her ass upturned for more punishment.
Instead, he settled her straddling him, her bare swollen ass pressed directly against his thighs, her knees braced at his sides, and her flustered face only inches from his.
Her blush was immediate, fierce. It was the same way he'd held her yesterday, face to face, so close she could feel the warmth of his breath against her lips, with no escape for her eyes.
"This is a much better position to confess. Don't you think?" Cassius smiled as though savoring her reaction. "Now we can both look at each other...confessor and listener. A perfect heart-to-heart."
Julie's chest tightened. His words made the whole thing feel more intimate, more dangerous. She shifted uncomfortably, which only made her butt grind against his lap, the soreness flaring hot and making her whimper softly.
Noticing this, Cassius's gaze traveled downward, deliberately lingering.
"Mmm. They look quite swollen." He said, studying her reddened cheeks, the mottled marks of his handprints, the faint swelling. His eyes then flicked back up to hers. "They must hurt a lot. Should I put your pants back on? Cover them from the cold night air?"
"N-No! Please, don't." Julie immediately shook her head, desperate.
His brow arched. "Don't?"
Her voice was trembling but certain. "The air...it's the only thing soothing them right now. If I cover them...if I trap the heat...it'll feel like fire. I can't."
"Oh?" Cassius's lips curled in quiet amusement. "Then so be it. Let your bare ass stay exposed, glowing red, for the world to see of the punishment you recieved."
Her whole body shuddered with embarrassment at his phrasing, her blush creeping down her neck. But before he could say more, she swallowed and forced herself to speak, her tone almost shy.
"C-Cassius...I...I want to ask something else…"
He tilted his head. "Something else?"
Julie's eyes darted away, her voice small. "…Could you...put your hands there? On me. On my butt. Gently. And...stroke it. Please. It feels nice when you do."
Cassius blinked, then chuckled low in his throat, clearly entertained.
"Doesn't it sting when I touch you? When I spank my wives, I never stroke them afterward. In fact, I usually put ice on them. The skin is too tender. Sometimes they can't even pull their panties back up because of the sting."
"...And yet, you want me to touch you more?"
Julie bit her lip, her cheeks red hot. She nodded anyway.
"It does sting." She admitted softly. "But...there's comfort in it too. Warmth. When it's your hand...when you place it there...it feels so much better. So much more bearable. Please, Cassius...I want you to."
The honesty, the pleading tone, so uncharacteristic of the proud, sharp-tongued knight, made Cassius chuckle low in his throat.
When he first met the trio, he had thought Aisha would be the one most prone to dishonesty, to twisting her words.
But no, it was Julie who had always hidden herself the most, burying her true desires behind knightly pride, sharp retorts, and stubborn denial.
Yet here, raw and humbled, her truth poured out freely, stripped by the discipline she had endured.
He thought wryly to himself: perhaps spanking really was the only way to drag her honesty into the light.
And so, with gentle slowness, he placed both of his broad palms on her bare, swollen cheeks.
Julie gasped, teeth sinking into her lower lip as a flash of pain jolted through her.
But he didn't strike, he stroked. His hands pressed lightly, lifting the weight of her tender flesh, thumbs brushing in soothing arcs.
And the pain melted, replaced by an almost unbearable relief, and her lashes fluttered as her face softened into something close to bliss.
Cassius's voice dropped to a low murmur, teasing and intimate. "Do you like that? Does my little knight enjoy being stroked like this?"
Julie's breath came uneven, her hands clutching at his shoulders.
"I-It's nice...it's really nice." Her voice was raw, stripped bare like her body. "No one has ever touched me like this before...not there. But when you do...it feels so good. Please...don't stop."
His smirk widened, his eyes glinting with dark amusement. "Mm. You're so honest when you're like this. I like it."
His fingers grew bolder, slipping between her cheeks, caressing the untouched areas with slow, indulgent pressure. Julie trembled, a gasp catching in her throat, but she didn't resist.
Instead, she leaned into him, clinging, submitting to the intimate touch with shameless abandon.
"Confess, then, Julie." Cassius chuckled softly, his breath brushing her ear. "Bare yourself as openly as your body is bared to me now. Every sinful thought you've had about me tonight, say it. And I'll decide what penance fits your crimes."
Julie's lips trembled, her voice breaking in and out as she clutched at his tunic.
"Cassius...there's, there's actually a lot. A lot of sins I've been committing when it comes to you. I don't usually do such things, but whenever it's you...I can't seem to stop myself. I do things I never would otherwise."
She turned her head, unable to look him fully in the eye, shame flooding her cheeks.
"Like for example, it wasn't just the young maidens at the festival I lied to. Even the parents, parents of marriageable daughters, came and asked me about you."
"They wanted to know your name, what you do...they were clearly thinking you'd make a good match. But I..." She swallowed. "I lied. I told them that even though you did such a good deed, your personality was a wreck. I told them you were a drunkard who wasted money, that you'd struck past partners, that you were...abusive."
Cassius barked out a laugh, shaking his head slowly as he tightened his arm around her waist.
"You actually told people I was abusive to my wives? That's quite a reputation you painted for me, Julie. 'The gallant noble Cassius, rescuer of maidens and, apparently, wife-beater.'"
He smirked, brushing his lips teasingly close to her ear.
"You've got quite the imagination, Julie...So, what else have you been sinning about, hm?"
Her blush deepened as she fiddled nervously with her own fingers.
"I...I...There's also the matter about the charm Avery made for you. At first, I was simply busy. But...even after I remembered, I didn't give it to you. Because...because I didn't want to be the messenger of another woman's affection. I wanted to keep it. For myself."
Cassius smiled knowingly, eyes glinting with amusement. "Ahhh...so that's jealousy I hear in your voice. How very un-knightly of you, Julie. Gambling with the truth, hoarding tokens meant for me."
Julie squirmed in his lap, groaning at his words but pushing on.
"And speaking of gambling...even though I'm supposed to be a noble knight, I...I've been gambling with Aisha."
"We wagered over who gets more time sitting with you on the horse. I..." Her voice shrank. "I won earlier today. That's why Aisha gave up her time for me. We played cards...and I won half her time. That's also why I was so angry afterwards, because I lost before, and it felt like I lost you."
Cassius arched a brow, chuckling. "So that explains her generosity. My time was a prize on the gaming table? Tell me, Julie...am I worth spades or hearts?"
Her head ducked, and she mumbled, "More like the whole deck…" before hurriedly continuing. "But with Skadi...I couldn't gamble. That would be unfair. She's...She's not sharp enough for that."
"So instead, I…" Her face flamed red as she admitted. "I bought her a prime rib steak from a hunter passing by. I gave it to her in exchange for her time with you."
Cassius froze, then looked at her in disbelief.
"…You mean to tell me I was sold. For a piece of meat."
Julie nodded, biting her lip. "Yes…"
He groaned into his palm, torn between laughter and despair. "Gods above, Julie. Do I laugh, or do I weep at this betrayal?"
She pouted weakly. "I only did it because I wanted more time with you…"
Cassius shook his head with a sigh that carried far too much amusement. "I've been bartered away for beef. Unbelievable."
Julie pushed on in a fluster, desperate to get everything out.
"And...and earlier today, when you asked if I was tempting you...when you accused me of showing off my butt and wiggling it at you, I denied it. I scolded you, called you shameless. I said I'd never do such a thing."
Cassius leaned back slightly, smirking like a cat who'd cornered its prey.
"Mhm. I remember. And I also remember thinking, 'No way I'm imagining all this.' Go on, then. Tell me the truth."
Her voice cracked, mortification and heat crashing over her as she confessed.
"The truth is...I was. Ever since you told me my butt was nice...I-I've been showing it off. Turning so you'd see. Bending a little more than necessary. Wiggling, swaying...all of it." She buried her face in her hands. "I wasn't trying to seduce you, I swear I wasn't! My body just...moved that way on its own!"
Cassius tilted his head, grinning wide.
"You're even trickier than I thought. A gambling knight who lies about her boss, hides charms, bribes comrades with steak, and wiggles her ass to get attention."
"...Just wow, Julie. What a collection of sins..."
"...Now, is that all or are there any more sins that you want to confess?"
Julie tensed when she heard this question as there was only one more confession that she wanted to say but unfortunately it was the most embarrassing one to admit, making her wonder if she should even tell him or not...
