Demon Hunter and His Cabin

Chapter 796: Void Worm_2

The living is just a shell with only power.

He can only satisfy his perverted desires through some twisted methods.

Compared to Genevieve writhing on the ground, he is more like a worm.

Seeing the determination in Roger's eyes, Fernando seemed to understand his impending fate, "There is no real conflict of interest between us, don't kill me, I will tell you the real secret of this world!"

Rumble!

At this moment, a violent noise came from the space above.

Roger frowned slightly and suddenly looked up, a trace of gravity quickly appeared on his face.

"This power is very familiar..."

Fernando was initially stunned, but quickly transformed into ecstasy.

"Lord Dragon Envoy, so timely, you have responded to my summoning!"

"Save me, please save me, Fernando begs for your help!"

In the roar, the entire space seemed to be split open, as if a powerful creature was forcibly breaking into this world.

Fernando gathered all his strength and quickly flew up, seeing his movements, Roger had no reaction, still maintaining his previous posture, staring intently at the sky.

"Dragon Envoy!"

"It's the Twelve Dragon Envoys of the Dragon Court!"

Leon and others' faces changed drastically, "How did Fernando qualify to contact them?"

"Haha, I'm coming!"

Just before reaching the peak, Fernando turned his head, his vicious gaze locked onto Roger, but in the next moment, a powerful hand suddenly grasped his neck.

Crack.

Fernando desperately turned his head, "Lord Dragon Envoy... it's me, Fernando, who previously delivered for you..."

"Dragon Envoy?"

The void was torn apart, and an unfamiliar face appeared in Fernando's sight.

"So you're the servant of those reptiles."

"Heh... trash!"

Crunch!

With that, the man exerted a little force with his hand, easily snapping Fernando's neck.

A faint light flashed over him, and his broken cervical vertebra quickly recovered, but the next second, a terrible force invaded.

Fernando felt his soul being devoured and torn to pieces by a strange creature.

"No...!"

He let out a scream, utterly lifeless.

"Filthy soul, bah!"

The man casually tossed Fernando's corpse aside, and tore apart the void beside him, revealing the final hidden space above the dome.

However, at that moment, the last hidden space also broke open a large hole, from the edge of which many empty-eyed, twisted humanoid creatures were climbing out.

"We meet again."

"Heinris," Roger frowned and replied.

The current Heinris had a bizarre appearance, with only his head still retaining its original shape, while everything below the neck had mutated into a hybrid of several creatures.

His body was extremely swollen, his limbs disappeared, leaving only sections of tentacle-like barbs.

"Oh... if it weren't for that guy just now, it would probably have taken more time to find you."

Heinris's body moved, descending from the sky, and behind him, those twisted creatures also tore through the gap.

Roger quickly noticed the anomaly, the intimidation from the soul rendered other Transcendents incapable of action.

Compared to these xenomorph lifeforms, they were too weak.

"Hiding in an inconspicuous low-energy world, no wonder I couldn't find you. Once I catch you, Lord Hamza will forgive my sins."

Heinris's voice directly resonated in Roger's mind, and then a crisp cracking sound emanated from the surrounding space.

"Soul Crystal!"

Unknowingly, Heinris had already launched an attack.

"No one can help you this time, and I have become stronger!"

Heinris's momentum was unstoppable, but soon the confidence on his face disappeared.

[Disintegration]

The weapon in hand emitted a glow, the nearly solidified soul was freed, Roger casually swung a few slashes, protecting a few people in the scene.

Then the longsword lightly flicked, releasing all the energy within, slashing instantly onto Heinris's body!

Although his body appeared unharmed, Heinris let out a painful scream, and his twisted form began to reassemble.

Aside from his head remaining unchanged, his body transformed into a monstrous insect covered in numerous tentacles, with a pitch-black Sun Mark at its center.

"Void Worm..."

The shape of Heinris's body reminded Roger of a mythical creature he had read about in the Dragon Canon, something embodying special rules.

Space was their sustenance, and the areas they crawled and consumed became special holes, serving as unique portals between worlds.

The strangest part is that when these creatures matured to a certain degree, they would automatically die. Some say their corpses stabilized spatial structures, even forming new Transcendent World prototypes.

Yet, some believed their existence destabilized spatial structures, leading to the destruction of an entire Plane.

But either way, even a remnant of such a creature could significantly disrupt the spatial structure due to the energy rules it contained.

In that instant, Roger felt he had lost his influence over space.

However, he remained calm, reaching out to the Longsword.

One mark dimmed as another one brightened.

At this moment, xenomorphs under Heinris's control surged forward, surrounding Roger.

Roger held the Longsword upright in front of his chest, and in the next second, a figure emerged from his body, followed by a second and a third.

After a brief moment, countless figures swung their weapons in unison.

Swish! Swish! Swish!

The xenomorphs seemed oblivious to Roger's attack, charging towards him one after another, only to collapse en masse.

But soon, the twisted bodies started to recombine.

Meanwhile, hidden behind, Heinris initiated his attack.

His remaining head collapsed inward, retracting into the insect's body.

The flesh then reversed course, spewing out not Heinris's head, but an array of sharp, densely packed fangs.

Yet, this was not the end.

The open maw grew larger, with the spreading teeth seemingly enveloping the entire space, as if Heinris intended to devour it whole.

Just then, a stranger's voice echoed in Roger's mind.

"Stop him quickly! If you're enveloped by him, not only will you be dragged into his dimension, but the missing part of the space will spell a disaster for the world you're in!"

The voice sounded familiar. Before Roger could respond, the voice continued, "Find a way to delay him; I'll be there soon!"

"Mr. Roger, we've met before, at the Silver Dragon Clan's temple, though you didn't see my form at that time."

"I am Fasco, one of the Twelve Dragon Envoys, known as the Void Walker."

The next moment, Fasco's voice ceased abruptly, and Heinris had already enveloped the space, beginning his final devour.

The ground shook, with many buildings crumbling on the mountain.

Simultaneously, similar changes were unfolding between reality and the Transcendent World.

The earth cracked, rivers surged, waves crashed onto the shore, lightning flashed in the sky, and storms brewed.

This was, after all, a low-energy world.

Now, Roger and Heinris's fighting power far exceeded the world's upper limits.

Wait.

Roger suddenly realized something... Where did Heinris derive his power?

Tracing his gaze upward, he noticed the broken openings overhead, connecting with the void.

"So that's how it is!"

Unless one could instantly destroy a low-tier world, anyone entering a low-energy world would be affected by its rules. Roger was an exception, and Heinris should not have been able to unleash such formidable power.

But he obviously understood this, so, upon entering this world, he maintained a connection to the void.

Then...

This seemingly powerful creature might not be Heinris's true form.

All it would take is closing the portal to sever his power source.

Simultaneously, Roger faced another threat; he had to end the battle quickly, as the aftermath of their conflict would heavily impact this world.

"Say goodbye to this world." Heinris's voice echoed.

Roger said nothing; space was sealed, making it nearly impossible to quickly break through the encirclement.

But Roger remained unperturbed, as a dark shadow flickered behind him.

Along with it vanished his weapon.

"Honestly, Fernando, I should really thank you for your generosity."

Before the words had fully left his mouth, sword light burst forth.
