Demon Lord's Reincarnation

Death and destruction were happening all over, the mixture of different powers had killed numerous beings on the battlefield in the void.

The strongest of the Strongest Mortal Soul reincarnations, he was the one second only to the original incarnation himself, this person was none other than Rei Kuraki, and he was facing the three strongest of the Ancient Ones present on the battlefield.

"Why do you people not understand this entire battle is meaningless? No matter if you lose or win nothing changes. In the end, only the warm embrace of father's hands awaits."

"Wrong, in your eyes, all of this might be meaningless as the end was already decided from the very beginning and no matter what is done the ending will never change, but there is meaning in fighting there is meaning in challenging our fates!"

Rei opened his arms wide and a variety of weapons came out spreading all around him. A vicious smile then appeared on Rei's face as he took a lance with one hand and a sword in another and got into a fighting stance. Rei was now emitting a powerful aura it was as if his very soul was screaming for battle.

"You reincarnations of the Strongest Mortal Soul and those allied with you, all of you are insane! Despite already knowing the ending, despite our fates being absolute you always dare to fight. We can never understand you crazy lot who openly defy father's will at every turn. You humans always call us the insane ones but in our eyes, you people are the truly insane ones."

"How is that confusing you? You deities who wish for destruction and openly welcome it of course to those who wish to live you f*cking deities are the ones who are insane."

"Unlike the others you who are deeply connected to our father should understand just how utterly pointless your actions are. There's no being that could change the outcome of what our father has decided."

"Heh, if everything is pointless and everything will end then why bother us? Shouldn't you just wait for the end to come?"

"We're here to prove our love for our father."

"Hmph, is that so, but in my eyes you're here because you don't fully trust that victory is truly certain. That is why you came here to obstruct us isn't that right?"

"... It is true that any reincarnation of yours from the original to the current one, none of you have ever gone according to plan. Your very existence itself defies the very system called fate, in terms that you may understand you are a bug character with all the hacks installed. You and all of the reincarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul were never meant to exist in the first place."

"Hmm, that's an interesting thing to say. All of us were never meant to exist is that right? But it seems between you people and us the ORIGIN prefers us over you guys."

The moment those words were uttered the Ancient Ones in front of Rei suddenly burst out with powerful killing intent.

"ENOUGH!!! You blasphemer you are unworthy to witness the end our father has graciously promised us."

"Heh, is it finally time to stop yapping and time to have fun!"

"You beasts that only know to bite the hand that feeds you! It's time to put you ungrateful beast in your place!"

The three Ancient Ones did not waste any time and quickly unleashed their killing moves. Under normal circumstances, the Ancient Ones would use a time-based ability to restrain their enemy but since those kinds of things do not affect any of the reincarnations of the strongest mortal soul the way to fight these guys was to usually go all out from the start.

Rei threw the lance that penetrated the powers of the three Ancient Ones, but it disappeared from reality and was unable to reach the Ancient Ones. Rei then took a bow that was beside him and used the sword he was holding as an arrow.

Rei using the bow shot the sword like an arrow towards the Ancient Ones. Rei did not stop there he grabbed hold of various swords and lances and used everything as an arrow and shot it towards the Ancient Ones.

Each of these weapons was a powerful artifact that had many effects, some of which distorted cause and effect. Even Rei who had gathered all of these weapons was unsure of the effects of each one of them which is why he just kept on using one thing after another.

The Ancient Ones who were first to attack were now on the defensive and could not counterattack as Rei's onslaught was becoming faster and more powerful, what was worse for them was that some of those weapons were things that could harm them even without Rei adding the power from the sea of chaos.

While Rei and the three most powerful Ancient Ones present were having an intense fight anyone who came close was obliterated, in many parts of the void there were many battles taking place at the level that could destroy multiple universes.

The deaths from both parties were increasing, but the ones who were losing more were the Deities. As the fighting was getting even more intense and Ren's side's advantage was growing, the original incarnation was finally done opening the path to the ORIGIN.

"It is time for us to face the ORIGIN. Those of you who aren't my reincarnation should stay behind and defend this spot from those Deities. I know you guys want to fight alongside us against the ORIGIN, but truth be told except for my reincarnation all of you guys can be simply erased by the ORIGIN as long you are within the presence of his true form."

The original incarnation spoke in the minds of the allies present. Hearing what the original incarnation has said Tuskiyomi and Tanith who had combined with Ren were forced to separate.

"Until we meet again my love," Tsukiyomi spoke and then started kissing Ren. All of Ren's family that were still alive also bid him farewell.

The same thing was happening to the other incarnations of the Strongest Mortal Soul, they were doing this while fighting against the Deities. The Ancient Ones, the Old Gods, and the New Gods felt very insulted by the act and became even more aggressive, but despite that, the group of people in the Strongest Mortal Soul continued to do what they were doing right until they entered the path towards the place where the ORIGIN was sealed.
