Demon Lord's Reincarnation

The scene ended with the first incarnation's death there was nothing else to show. The other reincarnations sighed when they saw the ending of the first incarnation since their deaths were also in a similar situation. Still, it could be said that the first incarnation had the most glorious death among them.

He had done the impossible sealing away the ORIGIN, the creator of everything into an unknown dimension. Although every reincarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul has done the impossible in the eyes of everyone in their era, the original incarnation had done the impossible even in the eyes of his reincarnations who also share the title of the Strongest Mortal Soul.

"That was my life, so now you know almost everything. So did knowing the truth change anything?"

"Nothing has changed except now I know what the stakes are and I learned a lot of new ways to control spiritual energy," Ren answered while shrugging his shoulders.

"An answer that is expected from one of my reincarnations."

"Though I do have a question. Is the power of the void similar to the origin power the people in the higher realm use?"

"The origin power as the people call it now, is not the power from the void, but the power from the sea of chaos."

"The sea of chaos, the place where the mother of all dragons resided. What is the power from the sea of chaos, in fact, what is the sea of chaos how is it different from the void?"

"Oh right, those weren't explained in the memories I showed. Hmmm, how to explain it to you guys?... Basically, the power from the void exists outside all the universes it is a place older than the ORIGIN, meaning it has existed before existence was ever a thing. As for the sea of chaos, it was something that appeared after the ORIGIN created the first universe.

It was not part of the ORIGIN's grand design but a variable that was unexpectedly created alongside the first universe. It was filled with a power different from creation or destruction, it was an unknown power that gave birth to the mother of all dragons. If the power from the void contains creation and destruction. The power from the sea of chaos contains possibilities."

"Huh, possibilities? What do you mean by that?"

"Hmmm, it's hard to explain since I only figured out bits of it when I tried to comprehend its true power. Back then I found out that the power coming from the sea of chaos was quite peculiar. Unlike the power from the void that had distinct types like destruction and creation, the power from the sea of chaos is... Random..."

"I still don't understand what you mean by random?"

The original incarnation scratched his head in frustration as he really did not know how to properly explain the power coming from the sea of chaos.

"Damn it, it's hard to explain. The power from the sea of chaos functions similarly to mana, but the output is stronger. There's also the hidden effect of randomness mixed in. If you use it in the same way you use mana, there's no problem, but if you delve deeper and try to understand the source of the power then things become complicated.

Even I gave up on understanding that power since it's hard to grasp and mostly unsuitable for long periods of battle. The only one who continues to study it is the reincarnation called Cry Loder the one who seeks to know the truth of all mysteries."

Cry Loder, Ren had already met the other party, he was the one who explained to him the use of the Tree of Life. Now that Ren saw the past of the original incarnation he guessed that the Tree of Life was something he created to create mana that anyone could use, making there no need to kill Gods to gain mana.

"So what do you plan to do next? You already know the truth about why we battle the Gods and the creator himself. You already have sufficient strength to even battle some Old Gods. The ORIGIN still hasn't escaped the seal but since he's able to create clones and send them out it means he's nearly regained his old strength and would be able to escape that prison, but that is for later.

So what are you going to do now?"

"... I don't really know, what else to do." Ren had no clear goal now except to get stronger and prepare for the upcoming final battle.

"How about you gather the companions of all the reincarnations? Well, those that are still alive. They might not be as strong as us but they are the elite amongst the mortals. Surely when we battle the ORIGIN we need people to handle the lackeys like the New and Old Gods."

When Ren heard the original incarnation's suggestion he found it very interesting. That was a better goal than just waiting.

"Alright, I'll do that, so where should I go?"

The original incarnation paused thinking about something and then he snapped his fingers. A complicated map appeared in front of everyone, this was a map through multiple universes. As the oldest and the one who knows all the life experiences of every reincarnation, the original incarnation knew who all their companions were.

The original incarnation then used his authority which he stole from various Gods, Ancient Ones, and even the ORIGIN himself, to locate the nearest companion that was still alive. After a short search, the original incarnation showed a vicious smile on his face.

"The past companion nearest to us is quite the troublesome figure. In his life, he vowed to defeat the reincarnation he was close to, it's a similar relationship to you and Valdel but a little bit more hostile. The one I'm talking about is Christoph Wolf's eternal opponent Fyodor the Wanderer."

Christoph was surprised to hear that Fyodor was still alive, by now a few millennia had passed from his memories.

"I know what you're thinking Christoph, but the flow of time in each world and in each universe is different. In your old world, it has only been two centuries since your death. Fyodor has achieved a higher realm and extended his life span, even now he still yearns for that final battle you promised him. He thinks that if he lives long enough he might be able to fight you again or so he hopes."

Christoph sighed when he heard that Fyodor was still waiting for him. That final battle he promised all those years ago could not be fulfilled since he died fighting against the great demon.

That final battle he was not able to have with Fyodor was the sole regret Christoph had. He was excited to learn that it was possible that he could finally fulfill that promise from long ago. Seeing the expression on Chrisoph's face made the original incarnation chuckle.

He too knew of the many promises that his reincarnations were unable to fulfill due to their early demise, so he was also happy that some of them might be able to meet those promises.

"Ren just tell the coordinates of that world to Tanith she should be able to get there within a few minutes of travel time."
