Demon Lord's Reincarnation

Despite the many complaints by the weaker reincarnations, the original incarnation did not budge. He respected them and he knew that no matter what happened they would fight until their very souls became nothing, but he could not allow them to die before the true final battle.

"If we are to die wouldn't it be better to die in a real fight than to die against a projection of a memory?"

Even though the original incarnation said those words the other reincarnations did not want to acknowledge it, so he instead used force to convince them. As people who value their pride above all else upon being beaten by the original incarnation, the weaker reincarnations left. Now there were only about fifty of them left including Ren and the original incarnation.

"Before I show you my final battle, I need to warn you again that despite it just being through the screen the power of the ORIGIN can affect us. I will try my best to lessen the effects same as before but it might prove futile. So before I show you the next scene everyone better get ready mentally and physically."

Hearing what the original incarnation said the other reincarnations took defensive measures, some of them used spells to strengthen their bodies and minds, while others gathered their greatest force and circulated it into their bodies.

Then there were those in the top 10 who didn't even bother to do anything since they were confident enough to withstand whatever was to come. Ren did not do anything special as well and instead concentrated on the screen as he excitedly waited for what was to come next.

"Is everybody ready?... Alright then, allow me to show you my final battle before becoming a soul!"

Erste appeared on the screen above them, this time he looked exactly like the original incarnation who was watching with them.

Erste was in the void and unlike before he did not come here because someone made him, instead he came to this place with his own power. Erste had become the strongest existence second only to the ORIGIN.

In fact, with Erste's current abilities, he could create his own universes outside of the ORIGIN's omniverse, but he stayed since he felt making another universe was like running away. So instead of dying of old age, or running away somewhere else, Erste decided before he gets any weaker he would at least fight against the ORIGIN.

When he arrived in the void the first thing Erste did was to use his mastery over the void to bring light into the void. Once Erste did that the full appearance of the ORIGIN was shown.

The ORIGIN whose size was comparable to infinity was hard to look at, it was hard to understand how can one look at infinity. Even Erste could not comprehend if what he was looking at was a giant or a small being.

The ORIGIN might have a humanoid form but it was obvious to anyone to see that its shape was the only thing that resembled humans. The ORIGIN's body was filled with endless universes, its eyes were like trillions of stars looking down on you.

Simply standing before the ORIGIN made even Erste the strongest among all of the ORIGIN's creations have difficulty breathing, his body was already sweating profusely, the energies in his body were becoming chaotic, and it was even getting difficult to remain conscious. Still, despite all that Erste showed the vicious smile that made Gods and Dragons run away in fear of him.

Outside in the spirit realm those watching the memory except for the original incarnation were having varying reactions. The weaker ones were feeling the exact same thing Erste was feeling in the memory, despite the presence being weakened to the utmost possible state.

The others had difficulty breathing and some were starting to have hallucinations, while the second strongest person here Rei Kuraki was standing tall watching every movement on the screen.

Still, despite their varying reactions to the presence of the ORIGIN, all the reincarnations including the original incarnation had the same expression on their faces, that crazed vicious-looking smile on their face.

"So you have arrived before me with your own power, my beloved child. So are you now willing to stay with me as I bring everything back into nothingness and recreate everything into a perfect place, where there will no longer be any mistakes."

The ORIGIN's ethereal majestic voice sounded everywhere, the power he was exuding becoming even more forceful.

"So you really have succumbed to the madness. Then as promised I'm here to kill you!" Erste took out the weapon made from the bones of the mother of all dragons, the last thing she gifted to him.

"I forgot that you were that kind of child. I know that you love battle above all else, and even in the most dire of situations you would never back down, but surely you understand this is different. Not only are you unsure what will happen to you or any of my creations once I die, but the mere thought of you being able to kill me is already wrong.

I do not have the same concept of life as all of you, since I do not have life, I cannot know death. I exist that's all there is to it, I can't cease to exist for I am the beginning and I will be there beyond the end."

"You sure became even more talkative after you became a mad god."

"A mad god? No, that's wrong my child, I did not become mad, I became enlightened. I will wipe out all my mistakes and create a place where every one of my children will live without loneliness as all of us understand each other. To make such a place I just need to delete the omniverse I have created.

Do not worry none of them will feel any pain, it's like they'll go to sleep and the next time they wake up they'll be in a better place."

"You might be our creator, but you cannot decide what is a better place for all of us. We whom you have given free will, can decide on our own what is better for us! We do not need any god or creator to tell us where our happiness lies, we'll find that happiness for ourselves!"

"I hope that you who have come so close to me would understand, but I guess even my most exceptional child still needs my guidance. I will now speak in the only language that you seem to understand."

The ORIGIN who had an incomprehensible size suddenly changed into the same size as Erste and appeared in front of the other party. Seeing the ORIGIN actually change its size to match his made Erste's smile grow even wider as he got into a fighting stance.

"HAHAHAHA!!! You might have become mad, and saying things that make no sense, but at least you still understand me well enough."

"It is time for me to give you a stern lecture, my ignorant and violent child."

"Come on then! Show me what you've got you so-called Father of all!"
