Demon Lord's Reincarnation

The eye of the true form of the ORIGIN had already exuded a powerful momentum that even someone as powerful as Erste was having difficulty standing up. Erste enveloped his body with the power of the void as he stood tall in front of the creator of all things.

"So you finally showed yourself, then answer me this why have you summoned me here?!"

The ORIGIN did not speak instead words appeared in front of Erste.

[Even though you have grown so much stronger, I cannot speak to you with my real voice, since your mind would break upon hearing it. As for the reason I summoned you here it was to get you to become stronger faster by training in the void.]

"Huh? Why would you want me to become stronger faster? It doesn't make sense... Aren't you someone neutral?"

[I wish for all my creations to reach the stage that equals mine, but since you were the one who had the highest chance I gave you this opportunity.]

"... You... Why do you seem to be in such a hurry? Is this war between your creations making you think that I'll die somewhere, without being able to reach my full potential?"

[Among all of my creations you are the least likely to die in such a war. Even the Mother of All Dragons does not have a high chance of survival compared to you.]

"Is that your prediction from your Omniscience?"

[Like I told you before I cannot see the flow of fate with you involved. But I can pretty much guess how this war would end if it flowed normally.]

"... Normally, what do you mean?"

[A big variable is about to enter your war, one that could affect the ending you wish to see.]

"Such a big variable and I haven't heard anything about it. So what is it what kind of variable could change the ending I'm fighting for?"

[I am that variable.]

When Erste heard the ORIGIN's answer he almost had his eyes pop out. Erste had seen and experienced many things, but even he was not expecting that answer.

"What are you going to do?"

[I don't know.]

"Huh? What do you mean you don't know? For someone like you to be callled the creator of all, you seem to know less than I thought."

[Heh, it's funny talking to you makes me feel a myriad of things. It is true that ever since you broke free from the flow of fate, I seem to be unable to control most things. What I can tell you now is that something has been trying to consume my thoughts. It's a certain madness and obsession that I have never had.

Even with my power, I cannot eliminate this madness, even if I annihilate the core cause of the madness nothing will change.]

"So you're telling me you'll eventually become a mad god. So the reason for you wanting me to get stronger faster is because you want me to stop you."

[That is somewhat correct, but what I want is not to be stopped by to be killed.]

Erste's expression changed as he stared at the eye of the ORIGIN.

"You want me to kill you? Is that even possible for you to be killed? Even if I could kill you what will happen afterwards will all your creations cease to exist with you?"

[I exist beyond the concepts of time and death. Even I have no idea if I could get hurt much less die. Still, if anyone could kill me, it would be you. I have gazed upon infinity and even then I have never seen anyone like you. Just you having this conversation within the void with me is a miracle... No, you're very existence is a miracle that I can never consciously replicate.

So I making this bet that you will be able to kill me. As for you ceasing to be upon me ceasing to exist, I do not know.]

"You really want to die, don't you."

[I have existed even before the concepts of time and space. I have seen countless lives, but I have never experienced so much before I met you. Death would be another experience I would gladly welcome.]

"Why? As our creator even if you do go and become a mad God, why do you want to die?"

[I know that I might seem like a selfish creator to you, but even I do love you my creations. This is why even though I knew the source of what was happening to me I did not annihilate the cause. You are all my children, what kind of parent would want to kill his own children with his own hands? If I succumbed to the madness everything will be lost if you're not able to stop me.]

"By that logic, you're a father asking his son to kill him because he got sick and didn't want to hurt anyone."

[If it were anyone else they might not be able to handle such responsibility, but you are different.]

"You really think so highly of me."

[So can you a human who was considered to be the bottom of all my creations, kill me the creator himself?]

The ORIGIN who has observed Erste for centuries knew just how to make the other party motivated. Hearing the ORIGIN's question a vicious smile appeared on Erste's face.

"Once you go mad you won't hold back, won't you? You the creator of all will use all your powers to destroy his creations, the power that could easily be called Omnipotent, correct."

[Yes, once I succumb to the madness I will with the entirety of my power destroy and reset everything that I have created.]

"Hahaha, an impossible task, without any chance of victory. That would be a battle that would dwarf all battles." Erste raised his hand and pointed at the eye of the ORIGIN.

"Sure, if you become a mad God I will slaughter you just like all the other gods that have fallen beneath my blade. This I swear to you!"
