Delayed Transfer

Several minutes had passed after the Zoom call with his old friends from Earth, and soon, Mark heard the knock on the door. Mark headed to the door to open it while the others just waited in the living room. Sam and his fiancé Blake were still handling their business of scheduling a leave.

“Mark, you’re back!” Albert ran to him and hugged him.

The kid was followed by his parents, Robert, and Danielle. The couple, even though they were wearing casual clothes still had an aura full of nobility which was understandable since as far as he knew, Robert was a noble in England.

A few minutes later, Donald and Elizabeth followed. Everyone went to the living room, but Albert was so excited that they could feel the energy coming out of him in droves.

“What happened? Sam said that you were Isekaid to another world and that it was unlikely that you’ll ever return during our lifetime!” Albert asked while his parents and Donald and Elizabeth listened carefully.

“I did get transported to another world and it’s a fantasy world too. I also thought it would take a long time before I would find a way to return to Earth but I learned a spell that allowed me to build a warp gate that would let me travel between planets anytime I wanted.”

“Are there elves, dwarves, halflings, and other fantasy creatures?!” Albert asked and everyone could see that the kid was almost jumping up and down.

“Yes, there are! The reason I was able to return was once I completed my 50-level dungeon, it disappeared but at the same time, it allowed me to establish a coordinate back on Earth. Now the main reason I returned to Earth was I miss you guys and I want to invite you to journey with me back on Planet Veltun. You don’t need to worry about not going to be able to return since the Warp Gate would allow all of us to return anytime we want.”

“Is the other planet not dangerous?” Danielle asked concernedly.

“It is. During my stay there I battled powerful monsters and undead but right now I’m in the middle of a circus traveling the world with them. I’m fairly safe within the circus and the people there consider me as family. I even adopted a pair of twin boys and a cute little girl and we’re very happy. That world is dangerous, full of dungeons and magic but it’s also a world full of adventure and I want to share that adventure with you guys. Not only that, once you enter a dungeon, the dungeon will allow you to choose a profession as long as you meet the qualifications. The professions are the usual, wizard, warrior, priest, and more. Regarding the qualifications, I don’t know what they are but based on what I saw, only a small population were able to have that and those were the ones who became adventurers,” Mark said to everyone.

“Oh my God! I want to go now!” Albert shouted and this time he actually jumped up and down.

“What about the language?” Robert asked.

“That’s not a problem. I will cast the spell Comprehend Language to all of you and you will be able to understand the spoken and written common language there without any problem.”

“Mom, Dad, let’s go now! This is an adventure of a lifetime and we need to take advantage of it. Once we acquire a profession this will ensure our safety! I want to be a wizard!” Albert said to his parents.

Mark was impressed at the kid’s argument about choosing his safety as the means to persuade them to go.

“Actually, Sam and his fiancé are already preparing. Armina, Enleed, and Melissa are going to join me and are preparing to stay for a week but remember the Warp Gate would allow you to return to Earth anytime you want.”

Robert, Donald, Elizabeth, and Danielle suddenly whipped out their phone and began a series of calls. Mark was sure that they contacted those who needed to be informed that they would be gone for a few hours at least.

While the four rich earthlings were doing their thing and Albert was doing some sort of soliloquy about choosing a wizard above a cleric, Sam and Blake returned from their workroom. Sam was surprised to see the two extremely rich couples there as well as Albert.

“Are you going to join us in having an adventure in another world?” Sam asked Albert and the kid kept shouting “yes” several times.

After a few more minutes, everyone looked at Mark.

“Are we going there now or do we need to prepare things like clothes, our weapons and armor, and other things? Do we need to change our clothes to blend in with the locals?” Blake was the one who asked.

“I don’t think you will need to for now. I recommend that you do a brief visit first and return to Earth either later tonight or tomorrow. Accommodations are not going to be a problem since I can replicate my RV so each family can have one and I do have several clothes of different sizes and for different genders that you can wear but if you want I’ll give you a few more hours so you can prepare your luggage but that meant that we would arrive in the other world very late since it’s already four in the afternoon. If you prefer we can go tomorrow morning. I will need to return to the other planet though since the twins and Liriel would be worried if I’m not back during dinner.”

“No! I want to go now! What if for some cosmic reason, you can’t return to Earth!” Albert cried.

“Albert be reasonable. Mark had already crossed tremendous odds to be able to return to Earth and the ability wouldn’t disappear for no reason,” Robert said to his son.

“What about this? Go ahead and do some packing and we can go ahead and go to the other planet after you prepare. You can stay the night comfortably there anyway since I can give you RVs where you can comfortably rest. Remember the RV that you help me acquire Donald? That’s the one. I can give one to you and Elizabeth, another one for Robert, Danielle, and Albert one for Sam and Blake, and one for Melissa, Armina, and Enleed.”

“That’s a lot of RVs. Is the place you’re currently staying would allow you to summon multiple large vehicles and will the locals accept that kind of otherworldly things?” Sam asked.

“Right now I’m in the middle of a circus and we’re currently set up outside the city of Melona. The circus is set up beside a dungeon but it’s on the outside so we can set up the RVs anywhere. Regarding the alienness of the vehicles, you don’t need to worry about that. I have a confession to make.”

Mark then told everyone about the Star Wars movie revolution that he introduced to the other world and that right now there are cinemas inside tents amidst the circus wherein the Star Wars movie franchise was being watched by the locals. He told them that two cities were already deeply entrenched in the Star Wars lore and young rich people in particular were deeply addicted.

He also informed them that he established an Internet gaming café consisting of twenty computers that allowed customers to play Star Wars The Old Republic that was connected to servers and electric generators that he prepared. He also added that almost all of the circus people were currently wearing costumes from the Star Wars film.

Mark saw his friends were truly shocked at what he had said but soon everyone laughed heartily.
