Death System: I awakened SSS rank System

Chapter 8: Don't be Weak

They got to their Camp. It was technically not what one would expect. Not of woods or of blocks like modern cities. It was built to be invisible. Made by strange objects that they could all swear they had never seen before.

How were they able to see it?

The camps to be not only visible but also physically reactive to the teammates assigned to it. Camps appeared to be invisible or simply put, out of existence. The Camp had a way letting the people in it to be totally cut out from the environment.

It could be acting as a Rift that popped one into their room. As for room? It was normal just like a modern room would be. Exemption of digital gadgets.

There were two bunks. Two beds on each. One up and another down. To the corner were two tables and five chairs. Wondered why it was find since they knew they would be paired in fours.

"You're a freak." Justin blurted loudly.

Zakar turned slightly knowing that he would piss of soon as he saw the notification of the system.

"Slayed only a single Gorilla Baby. What the hell does that contribute to the team?" Justin thundered.

'Enough for us to get away faster than it would have.' Zakar thought to himself.

"You should have just died over there. That would beem a better way other than me killing you." Justin muttered and rushed to Zakar.

He flipped him over the bed like he was weighing nothing but air. Zakar slammed his light body against the wall and hid body sunderd upon contact.

"Wonder why you were taken in here." Justin said but Zakar said nothing. He just stared at the bed like they held the answer to the question.

"Could stop being dramatic. We all know you Slayed twelve Gorilla Babies. Don't be so proud of it. Besides he could still die if he's that weak." Sera's voice cut in cold and cruel.

Zakar didn't look up. Justin turned sharply to stare at her. Her words seeming to stirred up something in him. Something cold or hot at the same time.

"She is right. I do not need to kill you. You will just be my toy until when a mission siezes your life." Justin said and stepped against Zakar's head.

"..."

Justin then walked to the bunk where Sera sat and climbed over to the top of it. Zakar sat on his bed thinking. No worrying.

Worrying about what? Not Justin but the mission.

First he had absorbed the strange rocks as Drelitte Rocks giving him ten points. He wondered if that was normal. But he doubted so. If it was a chaos would have sprung up.

If it was not part of their system, then how did he get it. Why was he the only one who got it or were there others who noticed and chose not to speak of it? He couldn't answer that question.

That was only but a mild mummy's problem compared to the fact that his system had spoken of Death Mode and Murderous Intent.

Those two words were identical. But related to death and he was a Death Player. Was that part of his abilities? If so why didn't the system state it? Was his system broken?

He them turned his head to see Myia. Her eyes flickered lightly. He smiled wearily.

"I'm not worried." he said almost too sudden. He new she would hassle him with her usual question of not being worried about Justin.

"Yah. I know."

"Oh..Uhmm.."

"I am the one worried."

Zakar turned to look at her. She sat over on the bed and sighed lightly. Zakar stared at her.

"Worried? Why!"

"Because of the missions. What Lector Drin said." Myia said. Zakar's eyes froze.

He thought she was never bothered about the outcome of actions. She didn't seem bothered about her weakness and that was something to be scared of. Seeing her worried over her weakness was strange to him.

"Really?! I thought you were brave?" Zakar voiced out. She turned to him and smiled.

"I am. Only that... never mind." Zakar stared at her in shock and disbelief.

Something in him told him to protect her in the battles and make her feel comfortable and safe but he had made a rash decision of picking a D rank for himself before transmigrating over.

"Do want to stay down here?" Zakar asked trying to make her forget her fears. She smiled.

"I usually do not like staying down. The last time I did that on earth, I got soaked with someone's urine. Disgusting." Myia said and laughed.

Zakar stared at her like she was insane. His stare begged 'please don't revenge on me'. She looked at him and laughed even more.

"Don't be worried. I'm not going to do anything stupid." she assured me as she climbed up to the upper bed.

Zakar just stared at Sera who was on the other end of the room, already sleeping. He looked up to notice Justin was not on his bed.

Well he didn't care much about him but something in him told him to check him out but he was top weak to lift a limb. He just collapsed on the bed and slowly drifted into a baby sleep. A nice snoring kind.
