Chapter 46: Interrogation
"Take him into the interrogation room. We need to know what has come over General Lemon." General Tiken ordered two shadow warriors.
Zakar looked up at him. His eyes pierced into his. He had to know what he would say and what he would not. If he made a simple mistake of offering a wrong word to these Generals, they would as well as take his life.
He had to act carefully. He had to make this interrogation a means to know more about the Negative Entity and the Tailors.
Two shadowed attendants emerged from within and grabbed him from the runes. Then they took him into a dark room and shut the door behind him.
"I suspect a lot but I want to believe otherwise. If General Lemon was actually a seed of the Negative Entity then we need to know how much of the Players were affected." a short General muttered. Tiken waved his hand and walked into the interrogation room with two other Generals.
"Hi." Tiken said. The greeting was blunt and carried a wave of energy. Zakar stared at him for a while not wanting to respond immediately.
"General Fan, release the poison." Tiken ordered and Zakar's face tightened.
'They were actually poisoning him? Did they want to kill him or what? Why poison someone you intended to interrogate?'
He wanted to fight himself free but General Fan stretched out his hands and a wave of smoke bursted out. The other two Generals blocked their noses with a white material that would have been similar to handkerchief on Earth.
"That's enough." Tiken said calmly. Zakar stared at him in shock.

[Resistance Completed]
Zakar looked up at General Tiken. Then his eyes flashed towards General Fan. He had already grasped the situation of things.
They wanted him to clear headed and give up every information he had easily without restraining. It wasn't such a bad idea but his system had countered that. All he could do now was to act like the poison had taken its effect.
"So what is your name?" Tiken asked. Zakar turned his and bent it slightly down.
"My name is Zakar Zolt." He said almost quickly. Tiken smiled and rubbed his chin.
"Now we need nothing but the truth from you. How did you begin to fight against General Lemon?"
"It was after being nearly killed by an assassin, he showed up and began to spar against me. I didn't know why but he killed the assassin and still wanted me dead." Zakar muttered a bit slowly.
"Seems like you gave him a little overdose. He's spilling out more than we need. Fan you sure do have a way of killing your preys." The second General said.
"So you are saying that General Lemon killed an assassin that attacked you and still wanted to kill you?" Tiken asked closely .
"Yes." Zakar said without hesitation. If he hesitated for a second then his cover would be exposed. All he needed to do was to anticipate their next questions before they asked. That way he laid out the best answers.
"So do you know who this assassin is?" Tiken asked.
"No. But he seemed to be an S rank judging by the way he fought with over flowing energy."
"Really? "
'This interrogation is taking us no where. We don't have any solid information at hand. Seems like I might change my method of interrogation for a while. ' General Tiken muttered.
"So what do you think made the General to save you and still attempt to kill you?" Tiken asked.
"I don't know but he mentioned something about taking revenge on the Players." Zakar said bluntly. And them the Generals stared at him in shock.
"What the..."
Zakar stared at them without relaying any facial expression but deep inside him, he was worried. Did he say something wrong? Was it the revenge? Did it portray the Negative Entity? He didn't want to directly tell them it was the Negative Entity because as he was told, he wasn't supposed to about it except he was with another group.
"Revenge on Players? What group in the Wasteland dies that? At first I thought it was the Negative Entity but now it seems like its an old group." Tiken muttered.
"The Vosken Raiders! How!? I thought the Masters killed theor leader fifty years ago. How?" The second General muttered.
"That can't be possible!! How is that even possible?!" General Fan exclaimed in disbelief. Zakar stared at them without an expression.
'Seems like I channeled them in the wrong direction. Works for me. I'll get those bastards myself and find out what the hell they are doing with my team mates. First I have to get to Justin.'
"Release him." Tiken said and General Fan stretched out his and in an instant all the gas releasesd found their path back into his hands.
Zakar feigned a dramatic collapse . He slammed his body against the ground and lay flat.
"We are leaving. Take him out. Also his room needs repairs. General Kie could create another rift for him." General Tiken ordered.
Two shadowed attendants emerged from within and grabbed Zakar. They dragged him away until he was out of sight.
"This is bad news." General Fan muttered but General Tiken stayed calm.
"Keep him under close watch. I will need their team number. We have to keep a close eye on him."
'I do not fully trust that guy. I could see that he was a D rank but that isn't enough prove. My instincts tell me he fought off Fan's poison and constructed this story. We will just act on it but if there's no such thing as that, I will no option but to kill him.' Tiken thought to himself.
"Let's go. I've got somewhere to go." Tiken said and they turned to look at him.
"Where to?" General Fan asked.
"A friend of mine. I would not be gone for long."
