Chapter 319
"So, how are we going to find the prison?" Big One asked.
Big Three smiled and said, "Normally, that would be impossible. It was said that not even the guards would know where it was located. It was said that the entire prison is dark; only artificial lights are present inside the halls that help people to see things".
"It tells us something. It is underground, not above ground. Of course, if it were above ground, many could have found it already, and this only makes one sure that it was not above ground".
"There is a lot of ground. So, normally that would be problematic, but I have something that would make it less problematic, more of a possibility. It was not just said that the prison is dark, from what we gathered over the years, it was said that most of the food is marine-based".
"Not rivers, not lakes, but of sea, pure seafood. Sure, there would be a mix every once in a while, but most of the food is sea-based. Since we already know that the prison is somewhere near Karken City, one might think that it is useless, but think about it".
"If it were in surrounding regions, the alliance would not be making a stupid move of moving resources from a city like this and disappearing suddenly out in the forests. People can easily find out the prison, even if it took years. By now, someone should have found, but none did".
"It says something", Big Three said with a smile on her face.
Big One felt irritated with her. She occasionally shows off her intelligence to others, her way of telling others that she is intelligent compared to everyone else.
"Tsk. It would be your undoing soon. So, I wouldn't entertain you for now", Big One cursed inwardly, but on the outside, he maintained a neutral face.
He can't show a fawning face, like an underling, nor could he show anger against her. Either case could harm him.
"Only a few hours", he thought, "until then, act as you wish. After that, you won't be even her to act all haughty".
Seeing that none were taking any guesses, Big Three started to speak, "People looked everywhere, or at least that's what they thought they did, because they thought in the realm of possibilities that their brains can understand. They didn't think in the realm of possibilities of a Human God".
Others couldn't understand what she was referring to.
"Do you know why this place is called Kraken City?" she asked.
The others put on a confused face, which essentially asked, "Why are you talking about the name origin of this city, instead of telling us where the prison is?"
"It was said to be the hometown of Kraken, the first Human God. It was once a small town, grown into a Tier-6 City, all thanks to being the hometown of the Human God".
"Do you know why he was called Kraken?" she asked.
"Big Three, if you know something, just say it. Don't drag it. No one has the patience here to hear the stories of the past, especially with what's happening and what is going to happen during the night", Big One snapped.
It was too much for him.
Of all five, it was he, who dislikes Big Three, that was a known fact, and if he acts subdued for too long, she would definitely suspect something wrong with the situation. For a small time, one can attribute that he was holding himself back for the sake of the mission, but for too long, it would be suspicious.
So, before anyone loses it, he had to. They had to know that he was the same as before. No changes.
"Okay, okay, I am telling, no need to act like that", she budged.
"The first human god was called Kraken, because he killed a massive sea monster, like a Kraken from myths. Well, it was supposed to be Kraken Slayer, but for whatever reason, it became Kraken".
"The massive monster that he killed was still useful after its death. The Human God, after he reached that rank, well, he turned the bones into one of the ingredients to create the outer shell of the prison, which not only deflects attacks, but also stops higher rank monsters from approaching".
"Guess what kind of monsters it can make from approaching?" she asked.
A second later, Big Five spoke, "Sea Monsters".
Clap! Clap!
"Hundred marks for you", Big Three clapped.
"Wait, that means...", Big Four started speaking, but Big Three didn't let him complete.
"Yes, it is there," she said, pointing outwards, towards the window, from where they can clearly see the sea.
---
"The five have arrived?" the one inside the prison cell asked.
It was not a question, but a confirmation.
"Yes, all five arrived, and there are a few followers who seemed to be core followers of the five. Except for them, there are some people, but I don't believe they are from the cult, but some criminal elements like slavers, killers, etc...", the guard spoke in a low voice.
"Also, that guy has plans of his own. As you said, he has been raiding your hideouts one by one, but he sent his followers to completely empty them out, as the others were not looking here. I don't know, but from what I heard, he might have a plan, that differs from others".
"Oh, you mean, he wants to silence me, not even thinking about rescuing me?" the man laughed.
"Yes, supreme. Are you not worried?" the guard asked, fearing that the man was not taking his safety seriously.
"Hahaha, maybe one day you will understand why I am not taking this seriously. Also, when they arrive, show effort, but don't involve too much, even if they kill me, understood", Supreme order.
The guard couldn't for the life of him understand why the supreme was acting like this, but the supreme ordered him. So, he is going to follow the order, even if it hurts him.
"Yes, my lord", the guard agreed, before leaving the area.
