DC HERO AT MARVEL

Chapter 156: Chapter 155 American Arrogance! Building a Mechanical Army with the AllSpark?

"As expected of Optimus Prime!"

Anton eyes gleamed with admiration as he looked at the towering figure before him. He began to understand why none of the Autobots ever questioned Optimus Prime leadership.

Even Sentinel Prime, who ultimately betrayed the Autobots, still regarded Optimus Prime as his rightful successor.

Sentinel Prime never doubted Optimus Prime qualifications as a leader.

His betrayal stemmed from his belief that the civil war would inevitably destroy Cybertron. To him, the only way to save their home was to end the conflict before Cybertron resources were entirely depleted or its people plunged into chaos.

Ending the war, however, meant one faction had to be completely crushed or annihilated.

Both the Decepticons and Autobots were massive forces.

In Sentinel Prime eyes, an outright battle would be a devastating and wasteful endeavor.

The solution? Dismantle one faction from within.

Thus, Sentinel Prime, cold and calculating, chose to sacrifice the Autobots and cooperate with the Decepticons.

Though ruthless, Sentinel Prime plan could have potentially ended the civil war before Cybertron collapse.

But fate had other plans.

A series of unexpected events unfolded, leading to Sentinel Prime fall into tragedy.

The stage was once again dominated by Optimus Prime and Megatron.

"Since we've reached an agreement, when the time is right, I'll act to take the AllSpark."

Anton tone was calm. "For now, all we can do is wait."

"Wait?"

Bumblebee asked, puzzled. "Wait for what?"

"Wait for the Decepticons to find the location of Megatron and the AllSpark."

Anton replied. "You don't understand the arrogance of the Americans… Just wait. When the Autobots and the U.S. military inevitably clash, they'll come running to us for help."

Washington, D.C.

The White House.

A few minutes earlier.

Under Cyborg guidance and using a psychic transportation device, Keller and Thomas arrived instantly within the White House, causing a stir among the security personnel.

In the surveillance room, the guards monitoring the cameras were alarmed by the sudden appearance of unfamiliar figures. They immediately alerted the patrolling guards, who rushed over, weapons drawn, only to realize that the "intruders" were familiar faces.

The Secretary of Defense.

And the head of a classified department.

Both were frequent visitors to the White House.

Secretary of Defense John Keller was a given. As for Thomas, the leader of Sector Seven, he had spent an entire day and night in the White House shortly after the alien invasion in New York.

The guards also noticed the distinctive figure of Cyborg standing beside the two men.

Cyborg appearance was too unique to miss.

Recently, Cyborg reputation had nearly rivaled that of Batman. His iconic face, particularly his half-machine, half-human appearance, had even earned him god-like reverence within the Black community.

The guards immediately recognized him.

"We need to see the President," Keller said, interrupting the guards' train of thought before they could even ask questions. "Take us to him."

"You?"

One of the guards glanced at Cyborg.

"Don't include me," Cyborg said, waving a hand. "I don't plan to participate in your discussion. Once you've made your decisions, you can contact Batman. You know how to find him."

"Alright," Keller said, his eyes flashing with understanding. He didn't press further.

Cyborg, seeing this, activated the Teleportation device and vanished before everyone eyes.

"Hiss—!"

The guards audibly gasped. They had finally pieced together how the trio had arrived at the White House.

Teleportation?

Soon, Keller and Thomas were escorted to the President.

"I heard you teleported here?"

The President asked curiously, looking at Keller. "Are you sure it was Teleportation technology?"

"It seems so," Keller replied. "Today, I traveled from New York to Los Angeles and then to Washington in an instant… We don't yet know where the Justice League has stationed their transportation device, but Batman has assured me that the Justice League is willing to cooperate with us in all anti-terrorism efforts. I believe, for now, there no need to view them as adversaries."

"Preparation is still necessary," the President said noncommittally. "Let get to the main point. You didn't come here just to chat, did you?"

"This concerns the true identity of the alien NBE-ONE… and the fact that we have definitively discovered extraterrestrials on Earth."

Thomas spoke up, his expression grave.

"Mr. President, NBE-ONE is an enormous threat!"

Moments later, the President finally understood the gravity of the situation.

His expression became increasingly serious.

"If what they say is true, then the threat posed by NBE-ONE cannot be underestimated. Thomas, I want you to return to Hoover Dam immediately, increase military presence, and ensure the situation doesn't deteriorate further. As for what comes next, wait for further instructions. I need to consult with others before making a decision."

"Understood."

Thomas hesitated briefly but said nothing more before leaving the President office.

Though he was the head of Sector Seven, with considerable authority and access to classified information, his status was insignificant compared to the President.

Keller watched Thomas leave, then turned back to the President.

"Mr. President, NBE-ONE is a threat. I believe we should consider destroying it."

"Do you not realize how much of an advantage we've gained from it?"

The President frowned, his tone stern. "Without it, America wouldn't be as powerful as it is today. Furthermore, it represents the future… We can't destroy it based on someone else words."

"Mr. President, I must insist—the enemy is far more powerful than you imagine."

Keller fully understood the President point but pressed further.

"When you're faced with an army of NBE-ONEs, you might regret those words."

"No, you're mistaken."

The President replied firmly. "Don't forget, Keller, we have the AllSpark!"

The AllSpark!

Keller head snapped up to look at the President, realizing something.

"Mr. President, is there something you haven't told me?"

"That classified."

The President said, his tone measured. "But given the circumstances, I suppose there no harm in sharing now. Our research into the AllSpark has already entered the experimental stage. It is indeed a priceless treasure. Just imagine—if we could use it to transform machinery into mechanical warriors, we'd have an invincible army."

Leaving the White House, Keller couldn't shake the feeling that the situation was spiraling out of control.

Whether it was the President confidence or the looming extraterrestrial threat, everything seemed like an unsolvable mess.

The Decepticons from Cybertron were eyeing Earth hungrily.

Their eternal enemies, the Autobots, had also arrived on Earth to thwart the Decepticons' plans to conquer the planet and the universe.

Meanwhile, the U.S., with Megatron and the AllSpark in its grasp, brimmed with self-assurance.

And then there was Batman Justice League, seemingly aligned with the Autobots.

Keller thoughts swirled, his head pounding.

At the same time.

Watching the situation unfold within the White House through Cyborg perspective, Anton allowed himself a cold smile.
