DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

After hearing the news of Bulma's baby, Chi-Chi and several others rushed to her house to meet the newborn. Goten and Marron tagged along, eager to see the newest addition.

"Trunks, meet your sister," Bulma said warmly, holding her newborn daughter in her arms.

Trunks pouted slightly. "Why couldn't it have been a brother?"

He had secretly hoped for a little brother to play with someday, someone to spar with as they grew older. Still, he glanced at his sister with curiosity. Though she wasn't the sibling he'd wished for, the tiny baby in Bulma's arms was undeniably adorable.

"She's so small, Mom!" Trunks remarked, his tone a mix of wonder and reluctance.

Bulma chuckled. "You were just as tiny when you were born, Trunks."

Then, she suggested, "Why don't you hold her for a bit?"

Trunks hesitated, looking around to see his grandpa Dr. Brief and the others watching him expectantly. After a moment, he sighed. "Oh, alright."

Carefully, he took his sister from Bulma, cradling her with cautious hands. The baby's gaze drifted to Trunks, and her small face broke into a smile. Any lingering hesitation he had melted away as he felt an unexpected warmth. In that moment, he no longer cared if she was a sister or a brother—he just knew he wanted to protect her.

"Trunks, let me hold her too!" Dr. Brief asked eagerly.

Trunks nodded, gently handing his sister to his grandfather. Dr. Brief grinned, looking down at the baby. "I'm your grandpa, little one. Can you say Grandpa?"

Bulma rolled her eyes, a little exasperated. "Dad, she was just born! She can't talk yet."

Dr. Brief chuckled. "I know, I'm only joking around."

But as he spoke, the baby's eyes welled up, and she started to cry. "Oh no, no, don't cry! I didn't mean it!" Dr. Brief panicked, trying to soothe her.

Chi-Chi stepped in, taking the baby from him, and immediately the baby quieted. Dr. Brief let out a sigh of relief.

"Oh, by the way, Bulma, have you chosen a name yet?" he asked, looking hopeful. "If not, I've got a few ideas. How about Bra? Or….."

Bulma laughed as Dr. Brief listed off names. But then Vegeta's eyes lit up at the mention of names. "She's a Saiyan. Naturally, she should have a Saiyan name," he began, voice full of pride.

Before he could continue, Bulma interrupted with a gentle smile. "I've already decided on her name. Everyone, meet Bulla."

"Bulla!" The name was met with cheerful approval from Goku and the others, who all agreed it was perfect.

Vegeta, however, was less than pleased. "Wait, my daughter deserves a Saiyan name!"

But Goku and the others, already caught up in admiring the baby, seemed to ignore his protests.

Goten grinned, nudging Trunks. "Congrats on becoming a big brother, Trunks!"

Trunks shrugged, pretending not to care. "What's there to congratulate?"

Goten laughed. "Come on, it's a big deal! Look at me—I am not a big brother!"

Marron chimed in with a smile. "Hey, you're like a big brother to me, aren't you, Goten?"

Goten shrugged playfully. "Well, it's not the same. I mean, a real little sibling would be different."

Trunks teased, "So, why don't you ask Aunt Chi-Chi to have another kid?"

Goten waved the suggestion away. "Nah, forget it."

Time passed quickly, and two days later, Vegeta had been staying close to home, adjusting his training schedule to spend more time with his daughter. Meanwhile, Goku, having lost his sparring partner, opted to head to King Kai's planet for his own training.

Out in space, an enormous spaceship hurtled towards Earth. It was Frieza's vessel, and onboard stood Paragus, shifting nervously by Frieza's side. Once, Paragus had been a mid-level warrior under King Vegeta, far removed from Frieza's presence. Now, due to Broly's extraordinary power, he found himself in the intimidating company of the galactic tyrant almost daily.

Frieza turned to him with a smirk. "Paragus, we're approaching Earth. Are you feeling nervous?"

Paragus forced a grin, trying to mask his unease. "Of course not, Lord Frieza."

Frieza chuckled, pleased. "Good answer."

On King Kai's planet, Goku, deep in his training, suddenly felt a powerful presence. His senses flared as he identified two energies—one was unmistakably Frieza, and the other was a fierce Saiyan energy unlike any he'd sensed before.

He turned to King Kai, his expression serious. "I can feel it—Frieza's Ki, along with another Saiyan. They're heading toward Earth."

King Kai nodded, concern etched on his face. "Yes, Goku. It seems Frieza has returned to Earth. Do you plan to go back?"

"Of course. I can't let him do as he pleases." With that, Goku focused his energy and instantly transported himself to Earth.

Back on Earth, the Z Warriors had already sensed Frieza's approach and gathered, heading towards the anticipated landing site. They soon arrived at a vast, icy tundra surrounded by towering glaciers. As they waited, Frieza's spaceship descended, coming to a steady halt before them.

The hatch opened, and soldiers filed out, forming neat lines on either side. Krillin and the others eyed the spaceship warily, bracing themselves for whatever was to come.

Finally, Frieza emerged, accompanied by Broly, Paragus, and the soldiers Cheelai and Lemo. Goku's eyes immediately went to Broly and Paragus, noting their Saiyan tails.

"Kakarot… Vegeta," Paragus sneered as he recognized them. Despite the years that had passed, their resemblance to King Vegeta and Bardock was unmistakable.

Frieza greeted Goku with a cold smile. "Long time no see, Goku."

"Frieza," Goku replied, his tone firm, "what are you doing on Earth?"

Frieza chuckled. "Now, don't get the wrong idea. I've merely come to test the strength of my new subordinates."

"New subordinates?" Goku repeated, his gaze shifting to Broly.

Frieza's grin widened. "Broly, meet Goku and Vegeta. I want to see if you can defeat them."

Broly glanced at Paragus, waiting for his father's approval. Paragus gave a brief nod, and Broly turned his attention to Frieza.
