DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

Chapter 145: Chapter 145 - The Birth of Bulla

Bang! Broly raised his left hand, effortlessly catching the blue-skinned soldier's fist mid-strike. The soldier's face twisted in shock, and he pushed forward with all his might, straining to break Broly's grip. But no matter how much force he applied, his fist didn't budge an inch in Broly's hold.

With a cold snort, Broly thrust his arm forward, pushing the man back with a single motion. The soldier staggered backward, struggling to regain his balance before nearly collapsing to the ground.

Humiliated and enraged, the blue-skinned man let out a furious roar and charged toward Broly, determined to reclaim his pride. But before he could react, Broly had already moved. In the blink of an eye, he was directly in front of the soldier, gripping his neck with one powerful hand and lifting him off the ground effortlessly. The man's face went pale as he felt his airway cut off, and a chilling fear crept into his eyes. This was the kind of fear that lingered close to death.

The other Frieza soldiers who had been watching now felt a wave of dread. They exchanged uneasy glances, silently relieved that they hadn't been the ones foolish enough to provoke Broly.

From behind, Paragus observed the scene with a furrowed brow. Although the soldier had started the fight, they were now under Frieza's command, and killing a member of Frieza's army could have dire consequences. Concerned, Paragus called out to his son.

"Broly, stop!"

Broly's gaze shifted to his father, though the anger still simmered within him. Recognizing that his words might not be enough to pacify Broly, Paragus pulled out a small switch and pressed it. Instantly, the collar around Broly's neck emitted a powerful electric current. Broly let out a cry of pain, his grip on the soldier's neck loosening as he released him.

Bang! The blue-skinned soldier dropped to the ground, gasping for breath. He glanced up at Broly, his face etched with fear, then scrambled to his feet and ran off, not even caring about the shame of his hasty retreat.

Seeing the soldier's departure, Paragus released the switch, and the electric current dissipated. Broly gradually calmed, the anger fading from his face.

Just then, Cheelai and Lemo entered from another section of the spaceship.

"Broly, what's going on?" Cheelai asked, noticing Broly's slightly shaken state.

"Nothing…nothing!" Broly replied, casting a quick look at Paragus.

"But I could have sworn I heard you scream," Lemo remarked suspiciously.

Broly glanced away. "It's nothing."

Cheelai raised an eyebrow, but before he could question further, Frieza himself appeared, followed by Belibulu.

"Present yourselves before King Frieza!" Paragus urged Broly, quickly bowing with respect.

Frieza looked them over with a curious gleam in his eyes, his gaze settling on Broly. "So, you're Broly, are you?"

Broly nodded silently. Frieza smirked, the glint of satisfaction clear in his eyes. "It appears my sources were correct. I can feel immense power within you. So, both of you are joining my army, yes?"

Paragus quickly replied, "It is as you say, King Frieza!"

Frieza's smile widened. "I heard from my men that you were stranded on Planet Vampa, and it was due to King Vegeta?"

"Yes, Lord Frieza," Paragus replied, his voice carrying a hint of resentment.

"Then you must be harboring a desire for revenge." Frieza chuckled darkly. "Though King Vegeta is long dead, his son, Vegeta, survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta."

Paragus's fists clenched tightly at Frieza's words. "Where is he now?"

Frieza grinned. "Earth."

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Goten sat lazily on the branch of an old apple tree, a bored expression on his face as he munched on a freshly picked apple. Years had passed since he defeated the Xeno Goku and attained the Super Saiyan 5 form. Since then, he'd grown stronger, even defeating beings as formidable as Champa, making him nearly equal to the Angels.

However, his power had reached a bottleneck. Goten had pushed his limits as far as he could, and the level of Super Saiyan 5 remained elusive for everyone else, meaning he had no rivals capable of challenging him. If he wanted to progress further, he needed to confront Super Saiyan 5-level opponents, even if that meant venturing into other timelines.

Just as Goten pondered his next move, a small voice called out from below.

"Brother Goten!"

He looked down to see a young girl with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. It was Marron.

"Marron!" he greeted, smiling as he saw her fly up and settle on a branch beside him.

"Aunt Chi-Chi asked me to find you," Marron began. "She says you need to go back to school!"

Goten raised an eyebrow, playfully teasing her. "And who do you listen to—me or my mom?"

Marron's cheeks flushed as she stammered, "Of course I listen to Brother Goten!"

Goten grinned and handed her an apple. "Good. Then just pretend you didn't find me here."

She nodded, biting into the apple with a grateful smile. "Thanks, Brother Goten!"

Goten chuckled as he watched her. "So, what else is new, Marron?"

"Oh, I met my uncle today!" Marron replied cheerfully.

"Your uncle?" Goten's brow lifted in interest.

Marron nodded enthusiastically. "He looks so young!"

Goten smiled knowingly. Androids 17 and 18, like Saiyans, aged much more slowly than humans. Androids, especially, could maintain their youthful appearance for decades. Earthlings, on the other hand, aged much faster—something Bulma and Krillin were well aware of.

In West City, at Bulma's home, Bulma was heavily pregnant, sitting in her garden with her hands resting on her belly. She was ten months along, and the birth was expected any day now. Because of the baby's imminent arrival, Vegeta had chosen to stay home instead of training with Beerus, wanting to be by Bulma's side when their child was born.

Suddenly, a colorful beam of light descended from the sky, and as it faded, two familiar figures appeared. It was Beerus and Whis.

"Lord Beerus!" Bulma greeted, surprised by their arrival.

Beerus gave a curt nod. "Bulma, I take it the baby hasn't arrived yet?"

Bulma shook her head, laughing. "Not yet, but it should be soon!"

With a glint in his eye, Whis offered, "How about I help deliver the baby?"

Bulma blinked, taken aback. "You…help me deliver?"

Whis smiled, raising his staff. "Indeed." He pointed it toward her belly, and a warm light began to emanate from it.

In the next moment, a tiny figure wrapped in a white blanket appeared in Whis's arms. The baby had soft blue hair and was nestled comfortably.

Bulma's face lit up with joy. "Is this…my baby?"

Whis nodded, and Vegeta, who had been watching closely, stepped forward, his eyes softening as he looked at his newborn child. The baby was a girl, and as she opened her eyes and saw Vegeta, a small smile appeared on her face.

"The baby is smiling at you, Vegeta," Whis remarked.

Bulma laughed, her heart full. "Thank you, Whis!"

Whis chuckled. "It was no trouble. And next time you're expecting, just call on me."

Bulma's eyes sparkled as she looked at her husband. "Vegeta, should we have another?"

Vegeta smirked. "Why not?"

A while later, Bulma shared the wonderful news with her parents and Krillin, introducing them to her beautiful daughter, Bulla.
