Chapter 533: When Two Beasts Cannot Share a World
Pablo had figured something out when the Dragon King and Demon King were talking.
First, the dragon King wasn't all that smart. It was very easy to find who had summoned all those suns and yet, the Dragon King took a lot of time to figure that out, that too with the help of the Demon King.
The second thing, Pablo already knew about it. The Dragon King was prideful. He was suffering from a superiority complex, so much so that he didn't believe that the ten people who killed his whole race and him were none other than Gods themselves.
Therefore, Pablo decided to use exactly that when he saw the Dragon King was about to burn him to cinders.
He told the dragon that the being could kill Pablo anytime he wanted but more than Pablo, there was another person that the dragon King needed to kill before anyone else if he wanted to truly live like the King he was.
The Demon King. Dravakos.
El'Dorado heard Pablo and went silent.
Pablo kept his eyes on the dragon and no signs of fear he showed to the dragon king but he did make him see the seriousness he had on his face. The dragon king should think that Pablo was right. El'Dorado must believe in Pablo's words.
The dragon king used whatever amount of brain he had and after using it all, he turned around.
He faced the Demon King again and Pablo let out a tired, relief filled sigh. He wasn't being stared down by that humongous being anymore.
The Demon King met the dragon's gaze from many of his eyes and raised his hands in question. "What? You got manipulated by a human?"
Pablo twitched as the Demon King was right.
"A being like me can never get manipulated, Demon. What he says is right. I can kill him whenever I want, it's you who needs to be tamed."
Pablo heaved a sigh of relief once more after hearing the dragon king.
"You cannot kill him whenever you want. That was your best chance to kill him. He is a dangerous man. He brought time for himself by making you argue with I." The Demon King said and he was right.
Pablo just hoped the dragon king remained an idiot.
"Fine. Let's say he fooled me. But what he said, I can't forget it."
"What do you want then?" The Demon King asked.
El'Dorado glared at Dravakos. "Are you a King?"
Dravakos didn't even think before answering. "Yes. I am."
"Do you want this world for yourself and live like a King here?" El'Dorado asked another question.
Dravakos smiled. "Yes. This world has become mine the moment I appeared here. Hell bored I."
"I will take this world and live as one sole King here. I wasn't able to do it before but now I will. If you want to live then kneel before me." El'Dorado declared.
Dravakos scoffed. "Kneel? I? The King of the Demons. Are you hearing yourself, lizard?"
El'Dorado nodded. "That man was right. You need to be killed first. As long as you remain, I will never be able to live how I want."
Pablo liked the development. It was going exactly as he expected. Two prideful beings debating over control. Neither of them were willing to go down and when the conflict would reach its peak… they would start fighting each other.
But the only problem was, Dravakos knew it too. He could see through everything after all.
"He is trying to make us fight. He wants us to kill each other and win. Open your eyes and see." The Demon King said.
"Even if that's true. We have to fight anyway. There can't be two Kings. Kneel before me and I shall let you go and kill that man. Fight me and then I shall kill you and then kill that man. The choice is yours." El'Dorado proposed the same thing again.
Dravakos clenched his jaw. "Why don't you kneel before I? I will let you live and kill that man myself."
"I never kneel, demon."
"Then so be it. I have never killed a Dragon before."
Dravakos raised his hand.
"And you never will." El'Dorado spread his wings and this time, he didn't open his mouth wide.
This time, the dragon won't use his black flames as it had done nothing to Dravakos. This time, El'Dorado would do something else. Something that would surely work. This time, the dragon would use…
His Ego. His black ranked Ego.
But the Demon King wasn't someone meager so he would also use everything he had.
The people standing on the Crucible got ready to brace for the impact as when such beings would fight, there would be consequences.
All the eyes on the Demon King's half side of the body moved, and all of them focused on the dragon king in front of him.
Dravakos had his arms spread and wasting no time, he did it.
All those eyes glowed red and from them, came out…
SHING!
Thick lasers.
Each eye shot lasers on the dragon King and everyone standing below them ran here and there to take cover as they were afraid one laser might come in their way and there was no doubt that it would kill them right on the spot.
But Pablo, Draxus, Harlia and Malvador stayed in one place as they knew no laser would come to them. The Demon King would like to use all the lasers on the dragon as he would want to make sure the dragon suffers. One less laser might prove fatal against the Dragon King.
All those red thick lasers slammed on El'Dorado but the skin of the dragon was thicker than those lasers.
Nothing happened to the creature as not even a single scar surfaced.
The Demon King also watched closely and it felt like the Being was only testing waters.
But what the demon king didn't know was that the dragon king wouldn't test waters at all.
He would go straight for the Kill. And for that…
He used his Ego.
