Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 532: The Devil Points the Crown

The Dragon king wanted to know who made those one thousand suns land on the Crucible.

He wanted to know that because it shared the same fire that God Rameses shared when he had burned the dragon king.

So if someone used the same fire then it meant that someone related to that God was present in the Crucible and the Dragon King would like to ask some questions from that person. Some peaceful questions.

But alas, no one answered the Dragon King. No one took Pablo's name as it was Pablo who used all those Suns.

With no answer, El'Dorado became enraged and a prideful Being like him, would only do one thing in anger.

Kill.

Therefore, he opened his mouth and those black flames made their appearance again.

But before they could burn Pablo and everyone else standing around him, a heavy voice echoed:

"You are one stupid dragon, you know that?"

There was only one person with such a voice and it was equally destructive as the Dragon King.

It was Dravakos. The one and only Demon King.

Hearing that, the Dragon king closed his mouth as the black flames went back before they could engulf the Crucible.

The soldiers heaved a sigh of relief and all of them knew that only the Demon King had that kind of courage to say something like that to the Dragon. Also, they believed Pablo also had the courage but they knew that Pablo only talks smug to those whom he knows that he can beat.

Nevertheless, it wasn't about Pablo at the moment as all of them focused on the two beings in the air.

The Dragon King turned around and faced the Demon King who had no fear on his face.

"You called me stupid?"

Dravakos nodded. "Yes."

"Do you want to die?"

Dravakos smiled. "I can't be killed, lizard. I am the Demon King. But I can surely kill you."

"I am already dead. No one can kill me anymore."

The Demon King sighed. "We will know about it soon enough."

"Why did you call me stupid!?" El'Dorado demanded.

"You are asking who summoned the thousand suns among those two men. One careful look and you will know who summoned that. Open your eyes." Dravakos said and the Dragon King growled.

He turned around again and looked at Pablo and Malvador.

This time, Dravakos helped the Being.

"The one who can summon a thousand suns, what would he look like? Will the suns hurt him or not?" He asked.

The Dragon king remained silent for a while, then answered: "No. The suns won't hurt him."

"And what does the sun do?"

El'Dorado answered, "It burns."

"And all those suns, who will they refuse to burn?"

The Dragon King stared at the naked Malvador but the next second, his gaze shifted to Pablo.

"The suns will refuse to burn the man who summoned them."

Pablo's heart sank.

The Dragon King found it.

It was so easy to find it and yet the dragon king took that much time.

Malvador was naked. And a man wouldn't have arrived naked in the war, so that only meant he lost his clothes. And in a war, no one would make their enemy naked as they would only want to kill the enemy.

So that meant, Malvador got naked because of something else and that something else could be fire. The Vampire King lost his clothes due to fire and since Pablo had his clothes on, that only meant the fire didn't do shit to him. As a result, Pablo was the one who summoned all those suns.

After knowing this, the Dragon king completely ignored Malvador and focused only on Pablo.

"So it is you. The one who used that same fire as that red bastard."

Pablo gulped. "Yes. It was me."

He didn't lie or did anything smart. He had told Draxus to swallow him inside his shadow if the dragon did something.

But more than that, Pablo had found something about the Dragon king when he and the Demon King talked to each other. Pablo would use it as soon as he got a chance.

"Why didn't you answer me before?" El'Dorado asked.

Pablo remained honest. "I was afraid, your grace. In front of your majestic presence, I was out of words."

He exaggerated and the Dragon King's black eyes softened a little.

"How can you use the same power as that bastard?"

"He gave it to me himself."

"Is he your friend?"

"No, your grace. He is not my friend."

"Then why did he give you his power?"

"Because he knew that the Demon King would appear. He gave me his power to fight that creature." Pablo lied but it was a smart lie.

"I see. So if I killed you then would that bastard appear here?"

Pablo gulped. "He might."

"It's settled then. You are dead." The Dragon opened his mouth.

The soldiers became tense.

Andrezj got ready to do some magic.

Draxus was ready with his shadow.

Malvador looked left and right in hurry.

Everyone wanted Pablo to not die and Pablo wanted that too.

His heart would beat itself to death if he did nothing. So he instantly used what he had thought of.

"You can certainly kill me, your grace. But you are making a mistake by killing me right now."

The Dragon King closed his mouth.

"Why am I making a mistake?"

Pablo heaved an inward sigh as he was glad that the dragon listened to him. And now that he listened, Pablo won't let this chance go to waste.

"I am nothing in front of your mighty stature. You can kill me and any of us anytime you want. But I am not sure how you are allowing someone else to live after he called a God like you stupid. How can you allow someone who is calling himself a king in your presence, your grace? And let's suppose he called himself a King out of ignorance, but stupid? He really called you stupid, your grace. He made fun of you in front of the whole world. That's unacceptable. If anyone should die, if anyone should die first as a message to everyone else then…"

Pablo raised his head and looked El'Dorado in the eye.

"That Demon deserves death more than anyone else."
