Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

The Dragon King was dead.

He was killed by the fire of the God of Fire himself. Rameses.

But right now, he had come out of the Crucible and his red flames had become abyssal black.

The Demon king was safe from those flames as nothing happened to him but he did ask El'Dorado about why his flames were black now.

To that, the Dragon king replied that he wasn't alive right now. He was dead. And after dying he had become…

"I have become Death."

Dravakos nodded after hearing that. "How did you manage to come out then? I have heard that the dead don't come back."

"They don't. But I had died while being ashamed. I had died with so much anger and resentment that my soul never found rest. In this ground, there are my ashes too."

El'Dorado paused. He trembled with rage, remembering that day.

"Before dying, I used a spell. And today, after all those years that spell acted and here I am. I have been brought back by the very same thing that killed me."

Pablo remembered that Cupid had told him that before dying, the dragon king had muttered something under his breath and now Pablo knew that the whole story was true.

Dravakos opened his mouth to ask something else but the Dragon suddenly turned around.

Pablo and the others were only able to see his tail and wings but now that he turned around, all of them saw the Dragon King's face and his whole terror.

The Being had black eyes, his skin won't be penetrated by no weapons, he looked immortal to everyone present there.

Malvador and Pablo also stared at the being and they had no idea whether to look away or stare.

They didn't want to anger the king as they were afraid he would be offended for looking directly at him. But they also couldn't avert their eyes as they were afraid that the Being would spew fire and to save themselves from it, they had to look out for it. They had to look out for it and move before it could even come out of the Being's mouth.

Also, they were sure that the Dragon King was strong because only someone like him could turn around in front of the Demon King.

The Dragon king looked at the hundreds of people gathered near the wall of the Crucible and he eyed each one of them.

He ignored the soldiers after seeing them in one glance, then he scanned Harlia.

Looking at her, he shook his head and moved his gaze at Malvador.

The Vampire King gulped as Dragon's black eyes made him feel naked, more than he already was.

The Dragon King stared at Malvador for a while and nodded his head just a little.

Then finally, his eyes moved to Pablo.

Pablo returned his gaze and he made sure not to summon any type of anger, or disgust or fear in his eyes. He knew the Dragon King was a prideful being, more prideful than any Beings. After all, he came back from the dead just to take revenge from those who had hurt his pride.

Pablo watched the Dragon with respect in his eyes and just like Malvador, the Dragon also nodded his head a little while looking at Pablo.

"A vampire and a Human with the characteristics of a Vampire. You two were the only one allowed inside this place. Am I right?" El'Dorado asked and Pablo and Malvador didn't dare to make the Dragon king wait.

"Yes." Both men answered in unison.

"Do you know why you two were allowed inside this place? Do you know why my ashes allowed both of you inside?"

"No." Pablo and Malvador answered at the same time.

Pablo somewhat knew the answer to the Dragon King's question but he didn't try to be oversmart. He would let the Dragon King answer himself and feel pride.

And the Dragon King did answer.

"Because you two came in contact with my killers. I can feel it."

Pablo brows shot up.

Malvador was the same.

Both men looked at each other and now Pablo was sure of his doubts about Malvador.

Also, Pablo's soldiers were shocked as everyone knew that the killers of the Dragon King were none other than the Gods. So does it mean that Pablo and Malvador had come into contact with the Gods?

Draxus and Harlia stared at Pablo with a new light and Jaun Elia went mad at this revelation.

Also, they were shocked about Malvador too. They knew Pablo was special so it was easy to expect something like that related to him. But Malvador too? He had also come into contact with the Gods? They couldn't believe it. But they had to believe it as the Dragon King won't lie. He won't lie to some puny humans.

Anyway, now everyone knows why Pablo and Malvador were able to enter without any protection from Sera. They were allowed to enter by the Dragon King himself.

Pablo and Malvador kept their eyes on El'Dorado after that revelation and the Dragon King spoke further.

"I was waiting for those ten to come again. I was waiting for anyone related to them to step foot inside this place so that I can use them to call those ten bastards back and kill them all!"

Pablo and Malvador gulped.

"You two were allowed because no way I would let this chance slip. My ashes had recognised you. But I wasn't able to come forth. I wasn't able to make my soul unite my ashes again. I needed some more power. I needed some more proof. I needed some more anger and determination to come out of the fucking soil!"

The Dragon King was now shouting and Pablo knew things were about to go down.

"I was waiting and waiting until I sensed that fire again. That same soul signature, that same divinity I sensed from that red haired bastard who burned me to the ashes. I sensed that same fire again. Those one thousand suns came out from that red haired coward's power. And now, I want to know…"

The Dragon King leaned his head forward and peered right inside Malvador's and Pablo's soul.

"Who was the one who summoned those suns?"
