Chapter 516: The Gold Army, the Pale Night
The Elves were here.
Malvador had promised Elves the whole Forza kingdom if they joined the War. Also, he asked nothing in return from the Elves. He only wanted them to fight in the war.
Of course the Elves agreed to this arrangement and here they were, inside the Crucible, in front of Pablo and the soldiers of Forza.
But it was more than ten hours since the War had started and the elves only came now.
So Pablo asked Malvador why now and the Vampire king answered that he simply wanted to see Pablo getting pale.
And to be honest, Pablo was really taken aback by the presence of the Elves. Malvador had succeeded in his plan.
The Vampire king brought back his smile again and laughed more.
"You thought you won the war, Pablo. Right? You killed the Cannibals. You killed all my soldiers. The war was inside your palm. I was alone and you thought you would have fun playing with me. But I turned the tables on you now."
Pablo remained silent and Malvador carried on.
"Now you only have a few soldiers left but now in front of you, the full army of elves are standing. I knew something like this would happen. I knew all the Cannibals and Vampires would die as only I was strong enough in your enemies in this war. So I had told the Elves that they should come after ten hours of the war. Till then, you and your soldiers would feel great that they were winning.
I killed most of your soldiers alone as one of my purposes was to kill as many soldiers as possible. And I think I did a good job. I wanted to lessen your numbers so that after ten hours, when the elves would arrive, the feeling of your victory shall be turned to ashes inside your mouth."
Malvador stared at Pablo with all the smugness present in the world as he licked his lips. His victory was certain now. A handful won't be able to fight the millions of Elves who were fresh and not tired at all.
It was night, yes. It was dark too. But it seemed the elves had no problem in the dark as they were able to look at everything. They knew who Pablo was and where he was.
After Malvador's speech, all of them focused on Pablo and the man simply sighed.
"You talk too much, Vampire."
Malvador raised one brow.
Pablo sighed again, this time heavier than the last.
"So you managed to convince the Elves to fight for you. So you manage one of the strongest races to fight in this war against me. That's fair. That only shows how much you are afraid of me. I am flattered.
Here's the thing, Malvador. Calling the elves didn't even come in my mind for a second, because I wasn't afraid of you one bit. I needed no one to fight for me to get you on your knees. I was sure of myself that I won't lose to you. And this is not the first time I have seen Elves. And if you think your victory is certain now that the Elves are here.. You are wrong. Because like everyone else…"
Pablo jerked Colt, removing the blood on it as it splashed on the ground.
"Elves die too."
"You think you can kill us, human?" Olorin, the king of the Elves, asked.
Pablo locked eyes with him and after a while, he shifted his gaze at Malvador.
"You know what, Malvador. Why don't you give us your surprise right now as well? Just do it and be over with it."
Malvador squinted his eyes.
"Do you think you can still win this war? You have no soldiers left. I can see some Marshals and this shadow guy, apart from them there is nothing. No one could fight and help you, Pablo. You are strong, but how much and how many will you fight alone? This Admiral, the amount of obsession she has with me, she will attack me any time now and lose her life. It's you alone, Pablo. You lost. Admit it."
Sera snapped.
"He is no—"
Pablo held her hand, stopping her.
She stopped.
Malvador's frown deepened.
"Who is this girl?" He couldn't hold back from asking.
"I am his wife." Sera blurted instantly.
Malvador's brows shot up.
His mouth went agape and his hands trembled as he looked at Pablo.
"You married? You are married? Fucking married? You? You got a girl to love you? Does she not know who you are? How did you threaten her to do that? Did you raped her first?"
Now Pablo's brows shot up.
"You are that surprised to hear about my marriage? Who the fuck are you anyway? You keep saying that you will have your revenge, that you were waiting for this all of your life, that you only want my death. Who are you, really? Jesus Christ?"
"I am no Jesus Christ, Pablo. But you will surely know who I am soon. Right now it's not the right time for it."
Pablo heard Malvador's answer and his brows twitched. Something clicked inside his mind and when he went a little deep inside it…
"I see."
He smiled.
He looked at Cupid, floating beside her.
Cupid caught his gaze at her but the female angel knew nothing.
Pablo focused back on Malvador.
"She is not my wife. She says that for no reason at all. But fuck that, show me your surprise. Unleash all the stored hatred you have and let me reply in kind."
Malvador's lips crept up. "Why did you think I jumped back here in the first place? I was going to show it even without you begging me for it."
"I wasn't begging."
"Oh, you will."
Malvador spread his arms.
"Elves! I prepared everything! End it now!"
The Vampire king bellowed and one elf came forward.
He wore a robe and he didn't look like a soldier at all.
Pablo didn't know what was going on as the elf began to mutter something under his breath.
And everyone would have considered that as just blabbering of an elf, if not for…
Malvador being lifted off from the ground and hovering in the sky.
