Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 514: History Bleeds Again

Pablo and Harlia had joined hands.

Pablo told her that after all the Vampire soldiers are dead, she could have her revenge with Malvador.

Harlia agreed to that and in the fire of her vengeance, she became a monster.

Pablo followed her suit and he didn't have to become a monster. He already was.

They were so fast that after only forty-five minutes, all the Vampire soldiers were dead.

They did it.

Pablo and Harlia killed all the Vampire soldiers. Cannibals had perished long ago anyway. Their whole race at that.

But there was still Malvador left and for the past forty-five minutes, he also wasn't sitting idle.

He also killed the soldiers of Forza kingdom with a devilish speed and he had lost count of the hearts he had swallowed.

But what could a single man do?

So he wasn't able to wipe the whole army of Forza and now Harlia planned to wipe the floor with him.

Covered in blood, as if she wasn't before, Harlia looked at Pablo.

Pablo had given his word so he couldn't argue. He simply shrugged and Harlia got the message.

She was free to do it now.

So, she stretched her neck, her hands, her legs, she did some light exercise and started her march towards Malvador.

Pablo remained behind her, watching her as he also moved towards Malvador.

In a few seconds, Harlia reached Malvador as it was now rather easy to find him. Only one man with a red armor was moving in the Crucible after all.

"That's enough out of you, Vampire. You are done killing." She said.

Malvador gulped the last heart and sighed.

"So you came."

"You have already lost the war." She stated.

"That fast? Why did no one tell me that?"

"Humorous, are we?"

Malvador chuckled. "So when did I lost this war?"

Harlia cracked her knuckles. "The moment you crossed your paths with me."

"Did someone give you dialogues like that? They sound rather suited to be in plays."

"Joke all you want. You won't get to stall for more time."

"Oh come on. Only a hundred of your soldiers are left. Let me kill them too."

"I am not like you, vampire. I don't sit idle when someone wipes my army."

Malvador squinted his eyes. "Is my army wiped?"

"Look around yourself." Harlia said and Malvador did that.

The Crucible had corpses above corpses. Brown, black, red, all kinds of armor wearing corpses. After death, all looked the same. Remove their armors and they would be considered as victims not soldiers.

But after seeing all that, Malvador's eyes remained squinted.

"What are you talking about? Are you sure my army is no more?"

Harlia frowned. "Are you blind? Can't you see these dead men?"

"I can see them, yes. But to say my whole army is dead, I can't quite agree to that."

Harlia felt her anger bubbling but unlike her, someone else was calm.

Pablo stayed behind the Admiral and he heard all those words of Malvador. By now, Pablo knew one thing about Malvador. The Vampire was really honest. He doesn't lie. So if he says he doesn't believe his army is dead…

"Hey, Pablo." Malvador called. He ignored Harlia.

Pablo asked with his brows what it was and Malvador asked with a smile. "Do you know about the history of this place?"

Is he going to summon the dragon king now?

"Yes. I know." Pablo replied like usual.

"How many races fought with the Dragons here?" Malvador asked and Pablo answered what he knew:

"Five."

"Great. And how many races are present in current times now?"

Pablo shrugged. "Three."

Orcs and Ogres were eradicated by the Dragon King, El'Dorado.

Malvador clapped. "You are a smart man. And now tell me this…"

"How many races fought in this war?"

Pablo frowned. "Two. Humans and Vampires."

Cannibals weren't a race as they were just Humans turned savage.

Malvador clapped once more and threw one more question.

"So in present times, there are three races present but today only two fought. Don't you think it's strange?"

"What's strange about it?!" Harlia chimed in with a crisp shout.

Malvador bit his lip. "I would have threatened you again but your feelings will get hurt and you won't leave me alone. So with all due respect, I shall ignore you."

Harlia clenched her fist and opened her mouth. But…

"Yeah. What's strange about it? We had a rift with Cannibals for a while and Vampires also tried to kill our King. So it's only natural we will be at war. What's strange about it? Really." Pablo spoke. He stopped Harlia's rage. He believed Malvador was getting to something and if Pablo was thinking right, then he certainly didn't like it one bit.

"I know it's nothing strange. But since we were fighting in the Crucible, the legendary place where all the races present in the World had fought, isn't it wrong that only us had all the fun?" Malvador said, smiling.

Pablo remained silent, judging Malvador's words and it only took him one second to realise what Malvador was getting at. Also, he never hated his mind more than he did right now as what he was thinking of, looked to be coming true.

With a gulp, Pablo uttered:

"Don't tell me that…"

Malvador clapped once more. "You really are a sharp man, Pablo. I didn't even have to tell you the full thing."

"So did you really..." Pablo asked, afraid to say further words.

"Well, I didn't want them to feel left out. They also have the right to visit the Crucible. They had spilled their blood here like the rest."

Pablo stepped forward.

He ignored Harlia as he walked past her and stood face to face with Malvador.

Malvador was smiling for all this time but when Pablo came just near his face, his smile died.

His face found the anger of a million lions.

"Yes. For this war, Pablo. I have also asked them to join. I, Malvador Nocturne, present to you…"

THUMP!

THUMP!

THUMP!

THUMP!

Many people landed on the Crucible and Malvador, with his arms spread, presented…

"The Elves!"
