Chapter 501: Every Corpse Is a Question for Malvador
Harlia was buried under twenty vampires.
As strong as she was, she needed fifteen minutes to use her Ego on full power again and without full power, she could only do so little.
But Pablo had reached her and he would certainly help.
He figured that the twenty Vampires above her were cannon fodders as they were simply atop her, not doing anything. They were not using their Egoes which told Pablo that their Egoes could do nothing to her or anyone. Malvador had only told them to stop Harlia and they were doing just that.
Pablo had killed one of them so now only nineteen remained and since he wasn't a fan of wasting time, he extended both of his palms towards the pile and used the Vibre Nirvana he copied from Harlia.
He sent vibrations from all his ten fingers and his both palms and when all of that reached the mountain, the nineteen Vampires…
BURST!
Exploded.
All of them died like cattle in a slaughter house as their innards flew around. Luckily, the rain washed them off from Pablo and he finally saw Harlia lying on the ashes, breathing heavily.
"I take it you are alive?" Pablo asked.
Harlia turned her head at him. "For now, yes."
"That's good. Now get up. Or I will handle Malvador."
"In your dreams." Harlia shook her head and stood up.
Ashes stuck to her body but the rain washed them off.
"How did you do it? What is your Ego? I heard it was white?"
Pablo smiled. "Then white it is."
Harlia sighed. "Keep your secrets. I don't care as long as you don't die."
Pablo nodded.
Harlia roamed her eyes and soon, she found Malvador.
He killed one more soldier and took out his heart.
Then he ate it.
Harlia clenched her fist.
"I am going towards him. Make sure I don't get buried again." She said without looking at Pablo.
"I thought you wanted fifteen minutes to fight again." Pablo replied.
"Now I don't. I am going. Do your shit." Harlia started moving towards Malvador, leaving Pablo behind.
Pablo let out a tired sigh and followed her. He also wanted to see what Harlia could do against Malvador. He wanted to see what she had that made her the Admiral of the Abyssal Butchers division.
Just after Harlia took another step towards Malvador, twenty Vampires again launched themselves at Harlia.
But this time Pablo was there so history won't repeat itself.
Harlia didn't bother even looking at the twenty vampires and kept walking.
Pablo walked behind her with his two fingers pointed at the twenty Vampires as if it was a gun. And as it turned out, it was.
Pablo jerked his two fingers and shot air bullets at them.
BURST!
BURST!
BURST!
Vampires kept exploding one after another and some even died in the air before they could reach the land.
Pablo was using the fingers of his both hands so he killed the Vampires left and right. He really liked using Harlia's Ego by now.
The Vampires kept dying and Pablo was amazed at the amount of Vampires there were in the Crucible. Nearly after every five steps, twenty of them were pouncing on Harlia.
Why did he order these Vampires to stop Harlia? Is he afraid of Harlia too? Or he thinks he isn't strong enough to fight her yet? Just like he thinks about me? He had killed the old Vampire king and his whole council. Surely, he must be strong if he was able to do that. Does Malvador think that me and Harlia are stronger than the old Vampire King?
Pablo could only speculate things as he had no definite answers at the moment. But he believed he would get everything once Harlia reaches Malvador and confronts him.
So he made sure no other Vampires stopped her on her track and kept killing soldiers left and right with his finger gun.
Meanwhile, Sera was looking around the Crucible.
She was doing nothing and she had nothing to do.
So she devised a game by herself and she was playing it right now.
Find Pablo without talking to him.
She challenged herself that she would be able to find her dear with just her eyes and feelings alone. She didn't ask for any signal, she didn't ask other soldiers for Pablo. She would find him herself.
But why was she playing a game during a freaking war? The answer was simple.
She didn't have to lift even a finger.
Enemy soldiers were dying left and right around her and yet she was non-chalant. She only looked for Pablo. She didn't want to lose the game.
Vampires and Cannibals moved to her to attack her or rape her but they dropped dead just after entering her vicinity. She was a killer without a sword. Because her sword was someone else. She had the strongest sword. She had a personal executioner with her and she used it with no worries.
Andrezj. The strongest Angel. Her Guardian Angel. The Angel who fell in love with Sera, the one whom he had to protect.
He made sure no harm came to his dearest and for that, he had created a mountain of corpses along her path. No one shall even touch her. Harming was out of the question.
The enemy soldiers just couldn't control themselves when they saw her. Especially the Cannibals. Andrezj had to work overtime to make sure to keep even a strand of his dearest's hair safe. The only way someone could harm Sera was to kill the strongest Angel first.
Therefore, Sera had nothing to do so she played her little game.
But there was one more lover of Pablo in the Crucible but that lover had no one like Andrezj with her.
She was the most beautiful girl present in the Crucible and her beauty didn't help her at all. Instead, it only made her prone to attacks from the Cannibals and Vampires.
Her name was Hena and she was an Elf. And her only saving grace was her Ego and the most important part…
She knew how to use it.
