Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 491: The Sword That Wants to Be Stained

"Draxus! Kill all the soldiers with the bows! They were waiting for Malvador's signal. And Malvador was waiting for the fireballs to reach a considerable height. Now they will let go of their arrows and they will pierce through the fireballs and we will have flaming arrows in our hands! Kill them all!"

Pablo ordered Draxus as soon as he understood what would happen but Draxus won't be able to help.

"It's too late, Czar." He said. "They shot the arrows."

Pablo gritted his teeth and looked ahead in the sky.

"Kill them anyway. They shall fire no more."

"As you say." Draxus began doing what he did with the other soldiers.

Pablo let the man be and worried about the incoming onslaught.

Graham worked faster than ever to kill the fireballs but they were too much and now the arrows were coming as well.

Pablo ran his mind all over and in the end, he clenched his jaw.

"Do you want me to do everything, Admiral? Don't you have some responsibility here? Or does that Vampire King still jerking off in your head?"

"Watch it, Pablo." Harlia replied, her voice carrying the same arrogance she always had.

But Pablo didn't gave a fuck anymore.

"You watch it! Do something. I am not the only Commander here. We won't get burned by the fire because of the armor but the arrows will still hit us and fire will slow us down. The Demonite isn't an elixir of Gods for fucks sake!"

"I know. And just because I am not speaking it doesn't mean that I am not doing anything either. I have already taken care of it."

"Where is this care of yours then?"

"In the clouds."

Pablo frowned and looked up.

He saw nothing but the next second…

DRIP!

A drop of water fell on his face.

And for a man like Pablo, he needed no more to know what Harlia meant by taking care of.

It was about to rain.

Just as he finished, the clouds began to cry and crystal clear water fell on the Crucible.

All the fire balls died and Graham stopped doing his work.

But there was something more to take care of.

"The arrows are still alive. And some water won't stop them." Pablo said.

"Do it, Goron." Harlia spoke.

Pablo believed it was a soldier from her army and waited to see what this Goron could do.

He tried to find the soldier as well but amidst all these men, he wasn't able to find him.

But he soon saw what this man, Goron, could do.

All the arrows descending towards the soldiers, lost their speed and fell down on the ashes with a dull thud. They did no damage. All of them died like birds after being shot by a bullet.

"Good work, Goron. What did you do?" Pablo asked.

"Nothing much, Marshal. Just increased the gravity of the arrows."

"Impressive. Keep it up."

"My pleasure." Goron said and went silent.

But Pablo did hear Harlia cursing Goron because he acted like he was under Pablo not her.

Pablo paid them no mind and asked Draxus, "What's your status?"

"Done, Czar. No more arrows will come. I have killed everyone who was at the back. The only soldiers left are the fighting soldiers around all of you."

Pablo nodded. "Come back then. Keep killing. No need to show yourself. Kill them as sneakily as you can. Use any tactics. Fuck the honor. I want to win the war."

"As you say." Draxus obliged and merged into the shadows again.

Pablo then looked at Malvador and the Vampire king clapped.

His long black hairs had turned wet and the ashes on the Crucible turned heavy as well.

"Stop the rain now. Water will go in the eyes and you won't be able to see all that well." Pablo said.

"The rain will stop after one hour, Marshal. I can't stop it now."

"Angh. Fcuk all of you. Just make sure to not die then. And don't trip and fall."

"YES!"

The soldiers replied and the War carried on.

Everyone now dripped with water and Pablo and Malvador began their staring game once more.

They walked towards each other at a fast pace and Pablo was ready to lash all his anger and frustration on the young Vampire king.

But Pablo had no idea that Malvador was even more eager than Pablo to fight him. He had started this war only for such a reason after all. He wanted Pablo Castillo and now he had him just a few steps away from him. Pablo had no idea how much Malvador wanted this and Malvador would make sure that Pablo got to know all about it.

Both men wanted to clash and both men were only a few steps away from each other.

Pablo tightened his Colt and his sword vibrated in accordance with its master whereas Malvador jerked his sword and the crimson glow on it made its appearance again.

Now they were just five steps away from each other.

Four steps.

Three steps.

Two steps.

The whole Forza and Jasper kingdom watched as the distance between the two tyrants reduced to just one step.

Both men stared into each other's eyes and Pablo suspected that he saw a familiar rage inside Malvador's eyes.

But Malvador saw nothing behind Pablo's eyes.

And while staring, they erased that one-step distance between them.

"We finally met." Pablo said.

"Yeah. We finally met… again." Malvador replied.

"Again?"

Malvador smiled. "We met for the first time yesterday at night, right?"

"... Yeah. That we did."

"But alas, our fight has to wait."

Pablo frowned. "Why is that?"

Malvador looked around. "Too much crowd is around."

"So?"

The Vampire king examined his sword. "The rain has washed the blood off my Gemini as well."

Malvador's sword's name was Gemini and at his words, Pablo asked the same thing:

"So?"

Malvador smiled. "The rain was summoned from your side."

"So?"

"So," The Vampire king shrugged. "The one who cleaned my Gemini…"

Malvador broke into a grin.

"Shall dirty it again."
