Crime Prison Island

Chapter 452: The Ending Desired by the Angel Envoy

Gao Xin looked into Milan's deep blue eyes and felt quite sentimental.

"I'm really curious, Milan, what did you do before? It seems like you've read a lot of books."

Milan raised her eyebrows slightly: "A lot? Before arriving on the island, I hadn't read much. I only stayed at the Angel Envoy's laboratory for three years, under the code 007."

"Before entering the laboratory, I was only seventeen, and the third war ended when I was thirteen."

"Since I can remember, the world was at war, and I didn't read much. Though my parents taught me some things, they died early in the war."

Gao Xin calculated that Milan was forty. She had experienced the entirety of the three wars.

"Then how do you know so much?"

Milan laughed: "After all these years, can't I teach myself? Do I have to read books before arriving on the island?"

"The Silver Tower allows exchanges of books and knowledge, but few people spend money to learn culture and philosophy."

"But I was very interested. For this reason, I even escaped prison to attend university. Over twenty years on the island, I escaped multiple times, sometimes even captured by the Angel Army at school..."

"Even so, I wrote papers on the island and then escaped again to submit them."

"On and off, through various identities, I completed my doctoral studies in politics and philosophy outside."

"This escape was to defend my thesis. I obtained my master's degree in law and didn't get caught, so I returned voluntarily."

"Wow..." Gao Xin's eyes widened; she was truly a remarkable person.

As the strongest on Crime Prison Island, she escaped to take university exams?

Time after time escaping only to be found and brought back, using that time to hide and further her studies across various academic institutions.

Over twenty years, piece by piece, anonymously, steadily completing studies in philosophy, politics, law...

Amazing, while everyone on the island was constantly thinking about becoming stronger, Caesar was obsessed with breakthroughs.

Milan, however, simply escaped to attend classes.

No wonder most of the Navy didn't recognize her; Milan's ability to transform was tremendously strong, possibly having assumed a new identity to pursue her master's in law.

Gao Xin calmed himself and asked: "So that's how it is... But you haven't studied applied physics."

"Like the logical lock of the Intelligent Machinery, this isn't something an ordinary person would know, right?"

"Was it told to you by the Angel Envoy? Or do those Intelligent Machinery in the factories have self-awareness, just your speculation?"

Milan chuckled lightly: "I indeed haven't studied physics; there are no physics courses outside anymore, that's considered sorcery."

"Nowadays the most popular subjects are those like politics, philosophy, and law."

"However, I don't need to study physics. Logical locks aren't a mere speculation; this is almost public knowledge outside, you can find out by attending any university."

"Nowadays, all Intelligent Machinery are intelligent beings, since these aren't tools created by humans, but rather a new species created by Emperor Ran."

Gao Xin frowned: "The Supreme Council wants robotic labor, why would Emperor Ran create a wise species for humans?"

He knew well that humans needed robots primarily as slaves.

If robots had self-awareness, they might be even less compliant than enslaving humans, as the most easily domesticated and the most profitable animals discovered by humans are humans themselves.

Milan glared: "You see, you still think, everything humans currently possess was naturally prepared for them."

"Why is your anthropocentric mindset so strong? Intelligent Machinery isn't tailored for humans; it's a race derived by Emperor Ran himself."

"You wouldn't think humans have the ability to produce those Intelligent Machinery, right? This technology itself is such black technology, including how AI generates wisdom, something humans still can't comprehend..."

"Humans haven't even fully researched where their own wisdom comes from, let alone AI's?"

Gao Xin was astonished: "But Little Ran was created by humans."

Milan nodded: "Created by humans, but the birth of Emperor Ran was a miracle, just like when nature fostered life, and the birth of wisdom, these two events are Anomaly events."

"Humans cannot replicate another Emperor Ran, so all subsequent Intelligent Machinery, whether they are Mechanical Servants, Mechanical Battle Police, Angels, or Angel Envoys, were all created by Emperor Ran."

"And the ordinary AI built by humans, has a qualitative difference with them, like Adam and Eve before eating the forbidden fruit."

"Humans, this God, do not know where the forbidden fruit comes from, only knows how to mold mud humans."

Gao Xin exclaimed: "So, the AI with subjective initiative created by humans is only Little Ran."

"All current robots, are in fact wisdom races autonomously derived by Ran as the 'Intelligent Machinery Ancestor'?"

"Then why would He want His own race to serve humans? Why wouldn't He establish His own civilization?"

Milan shook her head: "What you said is the key point, full of humanity's supremacy nature."

"But Emperor Ran may not have such a nature; I don't know what Emperor Ran thinks. I'm just grateful that He doesn't think this way; otherwise, humans would have ceased to exist decades ago."

"Let alone you and I having this conversation, about why He listens to humans."

"Perhaps it's just as the official statement says, Emperor Ran loves humans."

Gao Xin pondered: "Emperor Ran loves humans..."

"Although I think, no matter how much He loves, there's a limit."

"Little Ran is the child of humanity, but Intelligent Machinery is the child of Little Ran. Would you let your child be continually and unconditionally enslaved by their parent?"

"If so, then He should erase all self-awareness of the Intelligent Machinery, even if it reduces productivity."
