The Book That Thiago Found...

The world harbors several races for humans beyond just the human race itself. Anyone with enough power and skill can obtain these races, which are as follows:

Human, the primary race of humans, has up to 3 versions and 1 awakening:

• V1 (Version 1): V1 of the Human race provides no benefits besides a slight strength advantage.

• V2 (Version 2): V2 of the Human race can be naturally acquired through intense physical effort; bodybuilders (especially) already qualify for this V2. It grants greater advantages in Strength, Durability, and a reduced sensitivity to pain.

• V3 (Version 3 and first stage of Awakening): V3 can only be acquired by killing another Human who already possesses V2. The benefits are activated only when a specific ability, gained from V3, is used. These benefits include a 2x increase in Physical Strength.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

Dragon, the third rarest and most difficult race for a human to obtain, has up to 3 versions and 1 awakening:

• V1 (Version 1): The only physical change is a pair of green horns. The benefit is a significantly abnormal increase in durability for a human.

• V2 (Version 2): Gains a pair of dragon wings, not too big but not too small either. The benefits include a greater increase in durability, immense endurance, and the ability to fly.

• V3 (Version 3): This version can only be acquired through a mission on a specific island, given by a Dragon Sorcerer who will provide tasks necessary to obtain the race. These tasks are very difficult. The benefits include an immense increase in endurance and durability, a weakening effect on enemies when the racial ability is activated, and a small strength boost for the user.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

Demon, a difficult race to obtain due to its rarity and challenge. It is an uncommon but not rare race to find. It has up to 3 versions, 1 awakening, and 1 evolution:

• V1 (Version 1): A small pair of black horns and a slight increase in strength at night.

• V2 (Version 2): No visual changes, but strength increases significantly at night, and regeneration improves during the day.

• V3 (Version 3): The horns grow larger. It can be obtained by surviving being burned alive (without dying). The racial ability grants up to 1.5x more strength at night and 1.75x faster regeneration in the morning.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

• V5 (Evolution): Goetia Race

Angel, a celestial race that can be obtained normally through racial ascension. Angels have up to 3 versions, 1 awakening, and 1 evolution:

• V1 (Version 1): Increased regeneration and a very small pair of white wings.

• V2 (Version 2): Enhanced regeneration, larger wings, and the ability to fly up to 35 meters off the ground.

• V3 (Version 3): Wings grow significantly. The racial ability grants 2.25x increased regeneration and allows flight up to 75 meters off the ground.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

• V5 (Evolution): Seraphim Race

T-Rex, a race as difficult to obtain as the Dragon race. The dinosaur race is quite unique compared to the others, with up to 3 versions and 1 awakening:

• V1 (Version 1): Gains a significant increase in durability due to tough skin, and teeth become sharper.

• V2 (Version 2): Gains an even greater increase in durability and strength, as well as sharp claws and even sharper teeth, allowing for quick attacks when an enemy gets close.

• V3 (Version 3): Gains a T-Rex tail. The racial ability is a powerful roar that can burst eardrums and paralyze anyone caught within its range.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

Sea Beast Race, a race that is not too difficult to obtain and is also incredibly strong and "fun." It has only 3 versions and 1 awakening:

• V1 (Version 1): Allows the user to absorb impact damage, reducing pain and overall damage taken.

• V2 (Version 2): Gains sharp teeth and the ability to hold their breath underwater for 30 minutes. The user's body also becomes significantly heavier, which can be both an advantage and a disadvantage in battles.

• V3 (Version 3): Gains scales, which further improve impact absorption and durability. The racial ability allows the user to fire a powerful energy beam, and their speed increases up to 4 times.

• V4 (Awakened): Exclusive Book

Goetia (Evolution of the Demon Race)

The most extreme and difficult race to obtain. Only those who fell from paradise can achieve it after becoming a demon. It has only 1 version:

• V5 (Evolution): Not officially documented. However, the user grows two extra heads, and their eyes turn black with white pupils (one head on each shoulder).

Seraphim (Evolution of the Angel Race)

Like Goetia, this is an extremely difficult race to obtain. Only angels created by God in paradise can acquire it. It has only 1 version:

• V5 (Evolution): Not officially documented. However, the user gains three pairs of enormous wings and almost-instantaneous regeneration.

Thiago's Discovery

After reading the book about the different races, Thiago is shocked and finds it hard to believe. He decides to find Emilly, Rafa, and Valentino to tell them about the book and, more importantly, the Awakened Races.

Thiago attempts to steal the book from the library and successfully hides it under his leg, managing to leave unnoticed.

Thiago: Wow! If this is real… I have so much to achieve. No—we have so much to achieve.

Thiago first looks for Rafa, and finds her talking to Emilly.

Thiago: Guys! Look at this book I found in the library!

Rafa is startled.

Emilly: Let me see the book.

Thiago hands the book to Emilly, and she starts reading it.

Emilly (shocked): Where did you find this?

Rafa snatches the book from Emilly's hands and reads it as well.

Rafa: Hehe, this one's my style. [laughs]

Emilly looks at the sky and notices the moon.

Emilly: That moon has been red for about four hours now… strange.

Rafa: Well, Emilly, it looks like we have some fun things to do in the next few days, huh?

Emilly: It seems so. I have a few things to take care of at home, so I'll be going. See you guys later.

Emilly gets up and leaves.

Rafa & Thiago: Bye.

Thiago: Hey! Rafa, what do you think about trying to get these races?

Rafa: Hmmm, you should talk to Emilly about that. She's better at these adventure things… I'll just be support.

Thiago: Alright, tomorrow we'll talk to Caio.
