=============
Back in the Marvel Universe,
Norin first checked the time. It was 7 a.m., perfect.
"I really have the potential to become a proper time management master. I'll calculate the time and wait for Kara to rest properly before going back to train with her."
Norin nodded in satisfaction, then went to freshen up and wash away the traces of the battle.
The power of Kryptonians was truly overwhelming.
When he first gained this strength, far beyond his own, he struggled to adapt. It was only under Kara's guidance that he gradually got the hang of it.
Fortunately, Kara also had an equally strong physique. Otherwise, with Norin's current control over his power, an ordinary person wouldn't have been able to handle it.
Just like now, looking at the shattered cup in his hand, Norin immediately activated his bioelectric aura.
He deliberately focused on getting used to this feeling.
In fact, the bioelectric aura could be considered a passive ability that didn't require constant control—unless he became overly emotional and lost control of his powers.
However, Norin had only become a Kryptonian recently. Unlike Kal, who'd grown up with these abilities, he still needed time to adjust.
Even Kara, though just a teenager, had a natural advantage. Kryptonians were inherently stronger than humans, and their control over their powers far exceeded outsiders' expectations.
After absorbing sunlight, Kara quickly gained control over her super-hearing and super-vision.
But Norin had to force himself to block his hearing when his abilities first awakened. Otherwise, the chaotic noise would have driven him insane.
Later, on the way back, with Kara's help, he learned to control it at will.
Once he'd familiarized himself with Superman's physique and abilities, Norin finally relaxed.
With his current strength, at this point in the timeline, he might not be invincible, but he could at least protect himself without worry.
Looking at the entire Xavier Academy, the only one Norin was wary of was Jean. As for the others? Sorry, he could take them on with one hand!
Two words: Total domination.
This was confidence, the confidence Kara had given him. Wait, no—his strength today was all thanks to his own hard work. If it were anyone else, it wouldn't have worked.
He finished freshening up quickly.
Norin stepped out of his dorm early, bag in hand. As for taking a nap? Ha, you underestimated his stamina, It was just one Supergirl—he could easily handle another.
Outside, the warm sunlight bathed him. If there were a system prompt, it would show: Strength +1, Constitution +1, Agility +1, Energy +1.
Every cell in his body was unusually active, thriving under the sun.
"What a beautiful day."
Norin sighed and headed to the classroom. He chose a seat by the window and opened it, perfectly exposing himself to the sunlight.
After a while, students began trickling into the classroom. When they saw Norin, they were all a bit surprised. Normally, he wasn't this early and always arrived right on time.
The girls, spotting Norin, immediately smiled and placed their breakfasts—meant for themselves—on his desk, their faces flushed.
"Norin, you're here so early. You must not have had breakfast yet, right? Here, drink my milk. It's fragrant and sweet—it's amazing."
"Don't drink hers. Have my round bread. It's huge—one piece is like two. It feels great, and it's super fresh. No one else has touched it."
"Well, my bread isn't as big, and my milk isn't as sweet, but it's as white and tender as an egg."
Looking at the pile of food quickly forming on his desk, Norin had no choice but to flash a sweet smile at each girl, politely asking them to return to their seats, reminding them that the teacher might walk in at any moment.
Then he turned his attention to the food on the table: Should he eat the sweet milk or the fresh bread? Or the white, tender eggs soaked in milk?
It was such a tough choice.
Despite the intense battle earlier, Norin wasn't actually hungry.
For Kryptonians, sunlight was enough to replenish energy.
Unless they were in an environment without a yellow sun for a long time, they didn't need to eat to refuel—and even then, they'd need to eat a lot.
Generally, Kryptonians could survive for a long time without energy, but they'd grow extremely weak.
Just like Kara Zor-El, after being captured by the mercenaries, she'd been trapped in her pod without eating. She wouldn't die quickly, but she'd be weak and need time to replenish her energy to restore her strength.
According to Kara in The Flash, during her fight with Zod, she was too weak. The energy she'd absorbed was quickly drained in the high-intensity battle, leaving her powerless.
Of course, eating had been a habit for over a decade, and Norin couldn't break it overnight.
But from now on, eating would shift from being a necessity for nutrients to a way to appreciate delicious food and satisfy basic bodily functions.
In the end, Norin decided to have both the bread and the milk. Only children make choices—adults take it all.
Watching Norin devour the bread and milk, the girls who'd given up their breakfasts felt a deep sense of satisfaction despite their hunger.
At least it proved one thing: Norin really liked their gifts. It seemed he must have a good impression of them—otherwise, why would he have such a good appetite? It was wonderful.
However, when they saw Kitty Pryde sit down next to Norin, the other girls snorted inwardly: 'Little bxtch.'
Under the warm sunlight, the morning passed quickly.
This class was still Ororo's.
Norin listened attentively; the sunlight gave him an unusually abundant amount of energy.
But as noon approached, the sun didn't grow hotter. Instead, dark clouds rolled in, blocking its rays.
It seriously affected Norin's absorption of solar energy.
Frowning slightly, Norin was pondering what to do when he looked up and saw Ororo. Suddenly, an idea struck him. "Got it."
