"Any suggestions…"

Norin pondered. He'd thought about this problem before, but there was no easy solution.

Kara had been on Earth for too short a time.

Even though she'd been freed early, she hadn't had much time to bask in the sun.

Zod was a Kryptonian general. Even without the yellow sun's boost, his strength was undoubtedly on par with Steppenwolf.

Compared to Doomsday, Norin believed Zod could hold his own against the original Doomsday. After all, that was Zod.

If they wanted to defeat Zod with certainty, they'd need Henry Cavill superman's level of strength. But Henry Cavill had been soaking up the sun for over 30 years.

That was the only way to gain the upper hand in a fight and eventually break Zod's neck.

If it were Kara now, she'd be the one with a broken neck.

The gap in strength couldn't be closed by just a couple of days under the sun.

What's more, this was against an armored Zod. Once Zod's Kryptonian armor was damaged and he was exposed to the sun, his strength would increase even further, making him even harder to defeat.

Another way to win was kryptonite.

But that could only be created after the World Engine was destroyed.

And the World Engine was even harder to deal with than Zod.

Trying to deal with the World Engine first and then Zod? Forget it.

Besides, even if they managed to destroy the World Engine and defeat Zod, what about the threats that came after? This wasn't just the Justice League's world. They'd also face Doomsday, Steppenwolf, and even Darkseid.

The enemies would only get stronger, but Earth's strength wouldn't improve much. Without Henry Cavill's thirty years of solar absorption, how many enemies could Kara, a rookie barely stronger than an average Kryptonian, defeat?

In the end, they'd be destroyed.

Though the suggestion seemed useless, Norin still shared his thoughts.

Hearing this, both Bruce and Kara frowned.

"So, even if we rescue Kara, we still won't pose a threat to Zod?"

"Then why did you ask for my help? Maybe we should just stay home and wait for the world to end."

As Bruce had aged, his temper had clearly worsened.

But it was understandable. No one would be in a good mood in this situation.

"Not necessarily."

"I have two more solutions."

"Since we can't quickly gain the power to defeat Zod by basking in Earth's sun, we can get closer to the sun. Our strength will increase much faster that way."

"When the time comes, we can fight in space. Maybe there's a slim chance."

"A slim chance? What's the other option?" Bruce clearly wasn't satisfied with those odds.

"The other way…"

Norin hesitated, glancing at Kara.

Both Kara and Bruce were confused. Was he hiding something?

At this point, was there any need to hold back?

Was anything harder than saving the world and defeating Zod?

"Is there something you need me to do? As long as it helps defeat Zod, just tell me. I'll do it!"

Kara's expression was resolute, as if she was ready to risk everything.

In her eyes, Zod had to die. The crime of killing the Last Son of Krypton was enough to condemn him a thousand times over.

Hearing Kara's determination, Norin decided to stop holding back. He explained his abilities in full.

"In fact, my ability isn't just heat and vibration perception. It's…"

As Norin explained his true abilities, Bruce and Kara were both stunned. Were there really such exaggerated powers in the world?

The ability to copy and enhance someone else's genes and abilities?

Was this a joke?

But judging by Norin's serious expression, unless he was a psychological mastermind like the Joker, it was impossible for him to lie so convincingly.

As for Kara, she was already embarrassed by the promise she'd just made.

This... this was too unexpected.

Although, if it was him... maybe it wasn't impossible?

No! What are you thinking, Kara Zor-El? You're from Krypton, not Earth! Can you really have children? Wait, no! What am I even thinking? How can you be so easily swayed when you've just met him? And skipping straight to... that?

The idea of jumping into intimacy right after meeting was way too avant-garde.

Even in the open-minded United States, this kind of thing rarely happened.

But beauty is justice.

Norin's constant aura of charm kept Kara's favorability toward him unusually high. They could already be considered friends after just a few words.

But jumping straight to... that?

"Wait! The reason you did that earlier was to gain Kara's powers…" Bruce suddenly realized why Norin had acted so recklessly before.

Norin nodded, and his eyes glowed with energy. The next moment, two beams of heat vision shot through the wall.

Bruce wanted to say more but stopped himself.

He really wanted to question whether Norin had come to this universe specifically to gain Kryptonian powers under the guise of saving Kara and the world.

But then he thought, What was the point? At least for now, Norin was on their side against Zod.

And as long as Kara was around, Norin would likely stay on their side.

Bruce wasn't a fool. He wouldn't dwell on Norin's true motives, nor would he voice his doubts. If Norin wasn't lying, then this method might be their last hope.

When facing future threats, the universe's only hope might be Norin.

An old Batman, a weakened Supergirl, the perpetually immature Flash, a Cyborg playing football, an Aquaman who was still in the sperm stage and unlikely to appear, and a Wonder Woman who hadn't even shown her face...

Yeah, there was no hope.

If this world was to survive, it would have to rely on Norin.

That was the conclusion Bruce had reached after hearing Norin's story.

Seeing this, Kara fell into deep thought.

If... if this could really defeat Zod...

Kara took a few deep breaths and looked at Norin's face. Well, she felt like she was about to fall for him.

It was amazing that humans on Earth could be so beautiful.

This was too unfair.

Kara thought back to the moment she woke up and saw Norin. His flawless appearance and heartwarming smile had left a deep impression on her.

Her heart couldn't help but beat faster.

Was that... the feeling of Earth's population center shifting?

Kara didn't really understand any of this. She didn't even know Earth's languages.

But the moment she was exposed to the sun, her super hearing awakened, allowing her to hear the conversations of countless distant humans.

Her advanced super brain quickly understood and mastered these languages.

There were many things she didn't understand, so she couldn't fully grasp what it meant to be moved.

Her limited human understanding kept her from overthinking it.

Heartbeat equals love.

Love means intimacy.

Kara got it!
